Northeast Broadcasting is an average company. The service they provide is decent, but nothing exceptional. The staff is friendly and helpful, but there is room for improvement in terms of efficiency. Overall, I would say they are doing an okay job.

I was a long time listener of WXRV The River 92.5 - and a very vocal supporter. Since station managements ridiculous decision to fire morning DJ Rita Cary, I refuse to listen. I hope the station owner will take notice and realize that the station is being mismanaged. There is a huge uproar among the listening audience and we are extremely displeased.

I've noticed a change in the playlist over the past year that left a lot to be desired, but I stayed because of Rita Cary. The repetitive playlists, featuring the same music in constant rotation is NOT what your listeners want. We want to hear new music, from emerging artists, along with the classic music we've enjoyed for years. We are music aficionados. If we wanted a corporate-dictated playlist, we wouldn't have been looking for an independent station.

I am publicly asking you to please pay attention to what is going on in social media so that you have some idea what Rita Cary means to all of us. In our opinion, she IS the River and you've sabotaged your own brand by removing her. I fear you have lost the right to refer to yourself as an "independent station." The River was the last decent station left on the air in the Boston market. The decision to let Rita Cary go will have The River all dried up.

I will not listen if you do not bring her back. And if you have to get rid of current station management to do that--I'm fully in support of that. They obviously do not know their customer base.

Thanks for reading!
