About what you'd expect of a smallish local authority; they're not very good.

Terrible service, very rude staff who keep passing the buck! Absolutely no help whatsoever on such a simple query.

What a horrible building, with the Carlton police station closed I feel that Gedling borough council should do the same with this nasty thing council meetings could take place in Carlton Netherfield and other buildings located nearby.

It seems that we are always left.
Bins........Bottles.........
I live in a communal residency. The bin men come to empty the black bins, of the houses, but they don't come and empty our communal bins. I don't blame them. I blame you GBC
I'm really upset, and disgusted, that I pay my council tax to Gedling Borough Council & they miss our bins. It's disgusting.

The worst council I have ever been, the staffs are rude, they look down at you.

Every one of the staff i have come into contact with at the offices in Arnold have been totally friendly and professional.

Rather disappointing the bus services do not go to the front door. Bere in mind if old or disabled, as it at the top of a steep incline. Staff are very friendly.

Agree with the below . Bin men seem to pick and choose when they take bins and which bins they want to take that day . 30 flats here all paying council tax but one house will get a better service than the equivalent of 30 !! Glass bin hasn't been taken in over a month . They leave the bin store a right mess . And I ordered more recycling bins a month ago and still not heard anything back . Daylight robbers and incompetent to boot. I'd be embarrassed to say I work for gedling council

To start with, this council's licensing department has been treating us really badly. They barely work, any appointment you need, the slot they allot is after ages. Trust me it's not as if they have many people in the building, you barely see anyone there so you cannot tell they are busy. The worst borough council to ever exist. All there is to say is that it's a shame.

No help whatsoever with any sort of abuse in the borough especially if it's their group including gedling homes. Their children's home was used in the 70's for child fighting and sexual abuse. Their planning department was reported to the police in 2015 for corruption and is still ongoing as far as I am aware. One of the planning department has been reported to the police twice for intimidation and harrassment to join the labour party and being a general nuisance. I now have a criminal record for trying to get help with historical abuse from Carlton community church which gedling borough council is involved in because I called a suspect a paedophile.also a sign in my window warning people of the abuse is antisocial behaviour!!!!!!!!! Police help for abuse victims is none. They push you away!!!!!! They are now on the independent inquiry into historical child abuse with gedling homes, Carlton police and the labour party. I urge others to come forward. You want the independent inquiry into child sexual abuse not Nottingham police who will cover it up and treat you like a criminal!! Also pesticides used by the council are now on world wide law suits regarding cancer. Spraying parks and paths with cancer causing chemicals.

Make a booking for a birthday party for my 21st daughter's birthday and the person in charge called herself as ''manager Rachel'' was absolutely rude through the phone even laugh on my face when i said she was rude to me. nobody explain to me that the alcohol wasn't not aloud at all at the venue or any decorations what that something i wasn't aware at all as when i went to do the booking payment the lady at the office she didn't mention anything to me, even her knows what it was the propose of the party. so i didn't know anything about all this. 2 days before the party this ''manager Rachel'' called me shouting and absolutely rude towards me and laughed at me when i called her rude, then she said what do you want to do? stay or go to somewhere else??? i will give you the money back straight away, without any apologises or something else . Gedling Borough Council i think you should review what kind of ''people'' you've got working for you and for the population, and be careful with this kind of ''managers''

Yesterday your "hit and run" grounds maintenance team came to Moreland Court for their ten minute low fly past. As usual they are oblivious to the world around them as they listen to Bon Jovi in their ear pieces. Yesterday, however the guy strimming to the rear of block two decided to break his routine by urinating against the wall and underneath my lounge window. I just could not believe that even they would stoop so low but when I double checked there was his calling card (puddle). This is a sheltered housing complex for 65 elderly people. We come here to be protected from morons like this. Surely Gedling B. C. can do better than this!

You don't get anywhere with gedling borough council, the part of top valley owned by gedling borough is neglected like jarrow ruthwell also no parking spaces.

Arnold city hall and the seat of the Gedling commune, as well as the labor office. Everything is in a building located in Arnot Hill Park.
By prior appointment, we'll do practically everything in one place. Very friendly service and helpful employees.
