We had a water leak in the front yard on a Friday afternoon. Spoke to Pam and she explained that they would come out to shut off the water as soon as they could. MAWSS was there in 15 minutes!

I am not thrilled with this company. I received a water bill that was 4 times my normal usage.
I reported the inaccurate bill and explained the situation to customer service. I was not given proper resolution.
After complaining for a while, and working my way up the chain, I was told the only remedy available was to discount the bill by 50%. That may sound good to most people, but that was still double my normal bill.
I have since found out that hundreds of customers have had similar problems since the installation of the new digital meters
But what can you do, MAWSS is a monopoly.
It will always be your fault with MAWSS. Be careful they don't help you if they think you don't you need assistance. If you know what I mean.
Absolutely hate the way you have to pay your bill. Only company I know that charges you to use your own checking account online.
I don't enjoy having to go to the locations. I feel unsafe and insecure about being inside with a police officer having to sit in the lobbys. I normally pay online but from time to time we have to go in. The service is friendly and knowledgeable in all the issues I've ever had.

Crooks you pay your bill and they cut your water and charge you same day service. Happened more than once they say they can't see who has paid but they know if you didn't. Liars and Crooks worst company ever. I got a notice they turned my water off but it wasnt and They charged me 80. To turn on water they ever turned off. Crooked crooked crooked they do what they want when they want because its a monopoly that you have to use them to have water they get away with way to much.
They do not want to help you and make things a lot more complicated than they should be. One lady told me I needed stuff I didn t even need to cut on water. So I wasted two trips just for her lies. They have terriable attitudes towards you. This place should even be open with how rude they are
Walk in and paid my bill on the kiosk and walk right out without any problems.

Horrible business. Had NO PROBLEM taking our money to transfer our service to our new home after we've had NO WATER all weekend because there is a LOCK on it, and calling first thing monday morning to have someone out to remove the lock, them telling us it will be yet ANOTHER DAY before they will send someone out here. We are a 4 member household with 6 pets, and have no water for toilets, showers, to cook, etc. So I call to ask them to send somebody to check for a leak and THEY'LL SEND SOMEONE TODAY FOR THAT, BUT WON'T REMOVE THE LOCK WHILE THEY ARE HERE! So yall tell me how you're going to check for a leak and test the water pressure in our house WITH A LOCK ON IT? This has got to be the worst business I've ever had to deal with. Clearly they don't care about their customers. Only that $$$$$$
If you need sewage or rather have sewage - this is a great spot! They have water too, but it s hard to say which one they do best! Water is pretty common, you can get it anywhere, but sewage...that takes a special touch!
The new meter they installed in house was making a clicking noise though all my pipes. They were able to send someone out to fix it very fast. They installed an even newer quiet meter. It is quiet as my old one now.
Eek. So I had one of those trashy landlords that hated the fact of me leaving after dealing with their horrible service, no maintenance and once I moved, it was a holiday so they were closed but my lease was up. Not only did the following business day did a"random" pump burst while the water was still in my name, causing me to have a$2400 water bill, but the landlord completely left me to pay for it. I immediately got my name out of it and talked to a MASS representative and I ended up paying $1100 on top of my monthly charges of our new home. I even showed proof of my kids and I being gone and the key turning in but they refused to acknowledge that this was the owners fault. In the end I spent an entire year paying that bill and our new one. As if I had the money to pay for a cruel landlords actions!
i just moved to my new house, forgot to transfer the water to my name, two days later the water was off which is my fault but the problem is they turned off the water early in the morning and left, and they told me cannot come back until next day and gave me 4 hours window. I am not the only one they did that to, there are other reviews like this. If the company administrators have meetings, how is this glitch not on the top of the agenda. What exactly are they talking about during these meetings.
