Amazing dealership, better than all the others I went to in Calgary. Good service, honest and (most important to me) NOT PUSHY!!! Always felt they had my best interests in mind and didn't want to just "sell me any car". So helpful in every way. Davin was the best sales guy I've ever dealt with by FAR!!

The team at North Hill Mazda made buying a new car a fun experience. Having done a lot of research on SUVs with excellent AWD and other features to cope with the harsh Calgary winters and mountain terrains, high on my list was the new Mazda CX-5. The car did not disappoint and was shown in its best light by the professional and charismatic product advisor, David Hofmann. He gave fantastic information about the vehicle, answered all of my questions and provided a really enjoyable test drive. In addition I would like to mention Kurt Mulder and Lindsey Allen, who also did a great job in their respective roles.

North Hill Mazda has been a wonderful place since my wife and I bought our 2016 Mazda CX-3 from them in late 2015. Every staff member is very friendly, kind, and helpful. Every time I get a service done or just to have my tires changed, it all goes fantastically. I think that the people at the service desk are exceptional, especially Troy and Sean, who have been phenomenal in explaining everything to me and have overall wonderful customer service. Altogether, I would highly recommend North Hill Mazda to friends, colleagues, and family as all goes great there every time.

Wow, the staff here are amazing. I had my vehicle in for service, and they really took care of me. Sean made sure I was comfortable and really went above and beyond. Right from the time I walked in it felt like a home atmosphere. Charmaine welcomed me at reception with a warm smile and took the time to get to know me, Sean the advisor explained everything so I could understand. I even ran into Donna one of the Sales professionals and she made sure I was happy. I didn't feel pressured at all, I'll probably buy my next vehicle from her.
The technicians, Steve and Chris did an amazing job on my car. This was such an amazing experience!!! You rock Northill Mazda!!

Have been doing business with the good people at North Hill Mazda since April, 2014, They really do care about their customers and will treat you right during the purchase, and after with great service. It's not a big dealership so you don't get lost in the "busyness". It feels like they try harder to earn your business.

Honestly the best Mazda dealership in Calgary! We ended up going to a larger Mazda dealership first (same name as a Seinfeld character) and didn't feel our needs were addressed, their staff went on lunch break while we were waiting to buy the car we had test drove, and at the pricing situation we felt bullied. So we left, called North Hill Mazda and the same day had bought our brand new car with smiles and friendliness the whole time. They are not pushy, take time to listen to your needs and price well. David is very helpful as is his team (especially Dallas) and if you buy a Mazda somewhere else without visiting these guys first then you'll be missing out.

I called on August 25 to make an appointment for scheduled maintenance. I was told they didn't have any waiting appointments, but that I could bring the car in that day (a Friday) and it would be done by Saturday. When I dropped my car off at around noon on the Friday I was told that although my appointment was entered in for Saturday, it would likely be done by the end of the day. I didn't get a phone call on Friday at all, nor did I get a phone call on Saturday (the day it was guaranteed to be done). I did call Mazda at the end of the day Saturday to inquire about my car, but they apparently don't check messages very frequently. I'm now without a car for all of Sunday, and had I known it would have taken longer than expected I would have simply made an appointment for a different day. I'm flying out of town on Monday and now will have to use an uber for that too, which is hugely inconvenient. I would have appreciated a phone call on either Friday or Saturday letting me know that it would take longer than expected.

*EDIT* I'm changing my review to four stars because I spoke to the manager (Steve?) and he was very understanding and nice about this whole situation. He waived the fee for programming a new set of keys that I needed, though I still had to pay for the key itself. I didn't go up to the full five stars because the key situation was another thing that was supposed to be done at my previous appointment but just got neglected altogether.

I recommend purchasing a car with David Sosa at North Hill Mazda. David is friendly, accommodating and easygoing.

When Abdullah at Stony Trail Mazda referred us to David, he had the car all cleaned up in the wash bay by the time we arrived, in impeccable condition.

The deal went through smoothly with no pressure. Now I'm driving a beautiful (almost) new Mazda3.

Kudos to David, Robin and the rest of the North Hill Mazda team for making the stressful situation of car purchasing an easy and pleasant experience.

We were very impressed with her professional and friendly service. She was very helpful but not pushy and when we finalized the deal she took care of all the details. She couldn't be there when we picked up the car but David helped us and the car was beautifully detailed. Couldn't be happier!

This place is way too small to be called a dealers...

This place is way too small to be called a dealership. Their car lot is the size of my back yard of my house and I have a modest size house. They barely have any new vehicles and the new vehicles they do have all seem to be scratched and dented and very dirty. That is no way to run a business as far as I am concerned. I will try another dealership as the salesperson and sales manager seem pretty clueless also.

I recently moved from Quebec to Calgary and there I had a lot of rip off experiences at the hands of car mechanics. I just had a chance to take my car for service to North Hill Mazda today as I was feeling that my car was slightly pulling to left and/or right. Although it wasn't very serious but I decided to got it checked. After reading a lot of good reviews here about them I booked an appointment. They were very quick to give me an appointment the very next day and when I went there. Their service manager Miroslav took my car for a ride to test what's wrong with it. I was with him during the test. I must say, this is rare while dealing with car mechanics/garages that they tell you "I think the car is working just fine. There might be very minor tweaks, but I would leave it to you decide if you want to spend money on them or not. If you ask my opinion, your car is working just fine." I mean wasn't that great? He could easily tell me yes, we can fix the alignment or this or that. And while he knew I was already sold on that the car needs repair. He drove around for 20 minutes, checked the car very thoroughly and then let me go without charging me any money. I am so glad that there are still nice guys in this business. needless to say, I am a customer of theirs for life time.

Every time my wife calls to book in for regular service these guys try to convince her our Mazda needs a bunch of unnecessary work. I didn't think mechanics like that existed anymore, but these guys proved me wrong. Avoid at all costs, and if you choose to go there be sure to consult your owner's manual before confirming any "regular maintenance".

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! I made an appointment a few weeks out to have the oil and tires changed on my Mazda 3. I usually get the servicing done a Kramer Mazda but North Hill Mazda is closer. When making the appointment the attendant confirmed that the servicing would take about an hour. When dropping off the car the service attendant confirmed that it should take a little over an hour for the oil and tires to be changed. I decided to wait in the service lounge until they were done. An hour an half later, the car still hadn't moved from where I left it. Upon asking the service attendant what was going on, I was told that it would be at least 15 minutes before they even started the service and that the service would still take an additional hour. They made no attempt to let me know of this delay while I was waiting. I was told that the time I booked was approximate and they had unexpected servicing they were doing. When I make an appointment weeks in advance I expect that this booking will be honored. Left without the job being done and have now made a booking at Kramer Mazda. I will not book here again and would advice others not to book their servicing at North Hill Mazda.

Followed Doug to Northhill Mazda from another dealership as he provided honest and reliable advice to my wife and didn't try to up sell on unnecessary features but rather provided both the positives and the negatives of the features and left her feeling like there was little pressure. After purchasing our first new vehicle with this dealership, I have picked up a used vehicle for my brother here, and then a new cx-5 as our family got to large for the Mazda3. I have also had the best service experiences at this dealership for a couple years now over other dealerships in Calgary and the customer service is next to none. Troy in particular has provided me excellent service and a friendly face that I look forward to seeing first on service and now on sales. I will definitely be back with both my service and sales needs. Rob, the manager here, has always provided me with trade in values on both of my vehicles well over a thousand dollars more than I was offered at other dealership and has personally stopped to say thanks for our service on each of my purchases. I would and have recommended this dealership to my friends and family, and will continue to in the future.

Not really good experience. We're in today for Mazda recall. When my gf brought our car in at requested appointment time she was told to expect 2 hrs to be done. After 4 hrs the car even didn't leave the parking lot. We needed to ask how long was going to take the job again? Basically after our complain the car was brought in and after 30 mins done. Nobody said any sorry (which i didnt need to hear anyway). We felt like if we didnt have to pay for the job as it was MAZDA RECALL nobody cared! Worst experience with Mazda dealership ever. Choose any other if you can.

Purchased a brand new 2018 Mazda 3 GS from David at North Hill Mazda a couple days ago and it was hands down the best car buying experience I have had. David was outstanding, his straight forward approach was refreshing, he wasn't trying to "sell" me the car, rather help me buy it.

I felt no pressure to buy, and David was very accommodating while I made my decision and answered all my questions.

The finance manager, Rena was great as well. She took care of everything quickly and efficiently and was clear and transparent through the whole process.

I will definitely be a return customer. Thank you David and North Hill Mazda!

Good other than my car lock was frozen from the detailing they did earlier and then parked it outside when it's -28C . Then found out the back driver's side tire had a nail in the wall of the tire. No one had told me they needed to put on the spare. Usually have great service here, but had some hiccups today. They were still accommodating and helpful none the less.

I purchased my vehicle from North Hill Mazda in 2016 and have always had a really positive experience. From the sales process to the service department, always great customer service. That being said, I feel that this location misses out on lots of service opportunities because they don't respond to inquiries through their website. I have submitted two requests for appointments there (detailing, oil change, and an issue with one of my vehicle doors) and haven't heard anything back. I have taken my vehicle elsewhere for oil changes because of this. I will try calling the Service department directly because I'd like to have the door looked at; however, I would recommend not offering the option to request an appt through the website if no one checks the inbox.

I bought a new Mazda CX5 at North Hill in 2017.The experience was great!! This vehicle is incredible!
Over this past winter the paint started to chip off excessively from the sand on the roads. It was brought to the attention of the GM(Rob Orchard). To my surprise Mazda Canada stripped all the paint off and did a complete paint job front to rear. The car looks brand new!!! The 3 year bumper to bumper unlimited km warranty is AMAZING. Thanks Mazda Canada and Thank you North Hill Mazda.

I've only been to this location twice for minor work (replacing a headlight and taillight), but I have to commend the folks for their friendly attitude and hard work. The second time I came to have my taillight replaced, they did it in half an hour before I went to work. I can't tell you what a positive experience it is to bring my car here - I would recommend this to anyone, not just Mazda owners. Great work!

We test drove a used car and said we would call the next day to arrange financing after doing some price comparisons. The cell# given by the salesperson did not work. Called the dealership and left a message. No response. When the salesperson finally responded the next day he simply said "Sorry it sold after you left. Thanks. Goodbye." I guess they don't need our $ to not even offer to show us something else. Poor service

Eric was fantastic and went above and beyond to make the whole process as stress-free as possible. I visited a few dealerships, but none of them made me feel at ease the way they did here. The team at North Hill Mazda are so respectful and helpful, you can really tell they value their customers and honestly want to give their customers the best experience. We just purchased a new CX5 and the entire experience was a pleasant one! Everybody at the dealership, including the General Manager, sales and service staff, is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The buying process was an effortless and seamless one. And the big bonus is that we love our new car!

We have all our service done at North Hill Mazda. Great service, everyone at the dealership really treat us like family. I would recommend this dealership to everyone. They really put the customer first to insure satisfaction.

We are very happy and pleased with our new mazda 3. Our sales consultant, David Sosa, offered us exactly what we were looking for by meeting and exceeding our expectations.
I would highly recommend him to any of my friends who are looking for their next car. He is very professional and reliable to work with. He even picked us up and dropped us off after being at the dealership. It represented a lot for us. It showed us he is a commited person to his job. After several times of asking he mentioned it wrong. we are pretty sure that it is diesel car. the guy who went with for drive, doesn't even know the car. what a funny experience. Good service at this Mazda location. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I decided on a Mazda3 in a colour that wasnt in stock. They ordered it in for me and then I changed my mind. I had put a deposit down and figured I wouldnt get that back but they said they would give it back to me without a hassle. I thought that was nice of them since they did incur costs to bring the car in for me. I worked with the sales guy Abdulla who was very helpful and knowledgeable, but not pushy.

I'e been taking my car to North Hill for the last 5 years since I bought my car. But the last 2 services I had some issues. . The service in the car was excellent as usual but the customer service was bad.
Recently, I had to change the battery, Nicole texted me with a quote for $208.46 but when I got the bill , it was $352.20!. No explanation and no apologies. First, $350 for changing a battery it's expensive. Second, Nicole was upset when I asked why the difference and why I didn't get right quote before the fact.
The service in North HIll Mazda is too expensive and with a bad customer service.

We just bought our Mazda3 from North Hill Mazda. It was a very pleasant and easy process from the time we went into the showroom to the time we drove our car.
David Sosa helped us and explained every little details about the car, he was extremely friendly and very polite, we were impressed with the customer service we received.

I recently purchased a Mazda3 GT for my son at North Hill Mazda. Having no prior exposure to Mazda dealers, I pick North Hill due to it's proximity to downtown for servicing. My initial reaction to the dealership was quite positive as I prefer dealing with smaller businesses where you are viewed as an individual rather than just a number walking through the door. Ashley took both my sons for a test drive which quickly help to sell them on the merits of the Mazda over the other vehicles they were looking at. When the purchase was made, it was extremely efficient. They did not have the vehicle in stock and it appeared we would have to wait until a boat arrived. Much to my surprise, within a few days they had sourced the vehicle and indicated they would have it in time for my son's birthday. Everyone at the dealership takes pride in what they do and I'm confident that they will continue to deliver in the service department.

Warm and inviting atmosphere and VERY knowledgeable staff! We were blown away with the service here. They care so much for their customers and it shows in every e-mail, phone call, and meeting. My mom was purchasing her first new vehicle and it was not only a financial decision but also an emotional one. Donna (from sales) and Danielle (from finance) were incredible at presenting options that were suited to my mom's every need. They took time to get to know my mom and took genuine interest in ensuring she get a vehicle just right for her. My mom and I are so happy and excited that she is driving her new Mazda 3, and I'm even happier that it came from North Hill Mazda.

Brought my car in because it would not stay runnin...

Brought my car in because it would not stay running. They ended up replacing the alternator and the car would not start. They than decided that it was the starter which I refused and had another tech look over the car and realize that the bracket under the clutch pedal was bent and this was the reason the car would not fire up. Mazda refused to refund me for the alternator. Not impressed with there ability to diagnose problems. The way of northhill mazda is replace every possible part until it fixes the car instead of actually attempting to diagnose the problem.

Bought a new Mazda 3 North Hill in August 2014. The purchasing process needs some work but they do try to fix mistakes quickly. And they will work with the customer to address any issues. The salespeople don't play games unlike some dealership but learn exactly what car/ features you need before walking in. (I learned that the Mazda 3 GT does not come standard with XM radio).

The service department is the area that shines in this mini dealership just north of DT Calgary. They are friendly, do the work professionally and wash the car when done. It's still small enough that they remember the individual customer name. They will drive you to work downtown (or anywhere) and pick you up from your work. Definitely recommend the service dept.

Based on my experience at this location I will never buy a Mazda again, and I will make sure no one I know takes their cars to the service department at North Hill Mazda (although based on other reviews there are no good Mazda dealerships in Calgary). The customer service is terrible, the mechanics didn't even put my car back together correctly, and since they've had it there are a million 'new problems'. I am now taking my car to a different mechanic that actually knows how to fix a car properly.

If you're in the market for a Mazda, this is where it's at. Eric did an amazing job in showing us around and helping us find our new car. We already knew which car we wanted to purchase, but he was very knowledgeable and letting us know things about the car we weren't aware of .Honestly, the test drive was my favorite part, and Eric is just an all around great guy.

The whole buying process at this dealership was hands down one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Thanks to Kurt for making the finance process simple and informative. At no point did I feel pressured to sign or felt like we're another number.

Lastly, thanks to Lindsey for taking time out of her day to show around the car. I've bought vehicles previously, and never have I experienced having someone take time to show you the car and all its features. It may seem small, but the experience was worth it.

A rare find!

A rare find!
We visited/contacted all 4 Mazda dealerships in Calgary as part of our purchase preparation for a Mazda CX5. Our personal experience was by far the best with North Hill Mazda. The other 3 dealerships be it in person or over the phone left us with the unfortunately "typical" strong aftertaste that a lot of people associate with car dealerships e.g. pushy sales people, a lot of up charges such as "mandatory" dealer accessory packages for an absurd amount of money, not much transparency and so on. Then we went to North Hill Mazda prepared to experience the same "spiel". There we met Danielle in sales. She was very helpful, respectful warm and friendly ( we did a rely long and thorough test drive to make sure we like the car) . So we decided to make an offer to purchase. They only made one gentle attempt to sell us addons such as window edging, nitrogen tires fill, paint protection etc. but we only had to say "no thank you" once and after that they let it go. We knew through our research exactly how much we should get for our trade in and how much we should pay for the new vehicle (third party info such as blackbook and autotrader /we also searched the used car marked listings to compare prices. We used carcost and unhaggle for the new vehicle info ). David, the sales manager was a rely nice guy to deal with, he was truthful and upfront with all the info's he provided such as the dealer invoice price and more ( that we all where able to confirm with our 3rd party info mentioned above). All in all during the purchase process there were at least 3 major instances where they proofed to us repeatedly that they were trustworthy (each time we checked with our own research) in the past with other Dealerships we where often lied to so that is a big deal to us!
This was our 5th new vehicle purchase in 20 years and it was by far the most pleasant and enjoyable experience we had.
Thanks to the outstanding and enjoyable service through Danielle and David we would not hesitate for a second to recommend this dealership to our family and friends!

First time visit was good! my engine oil leaking problem got fixed in the same day, a little bit costly, but fast. So, I decided to switch from Sunridge Masada to here, when I need my winter tires swapped and oil changed, including check up. However, after it was done, I found some uneven noise coming from the front. Today, one week after I went to north hill Mazada, I got it check up at the other store, and they found that the tires are loose, so, the need to spend extra money to fix it.

I bought a Mazda3 skyactive 2015 about 2 weeks ago. I went to David Sosa, who was recommended by very good friends and I had the most amazing experience. This is the first time in my life buying a car and I tried other Mazda shops and the only person that understood my needs and gave me an excellent price and information on the car was David Sosa. He definitively went above and beyond for me. That day when I bought the car I knew he worked until 7:00 pm, however he stayed until 10:00 pm just to make sure everything was good and that I was good to go. In general, the whole team was very proactive, helpful and friendly to me. If I ever go back and buy another Mazda (which I will probably do) I will go back to David Sosa. I would like to thank mazda Northhill for the great customer service I highly recommend this dealership and if you can please arrange an appointment with David Sosa.

He understood my need needs and requests, was able to take care of everything and the service was wonderful! Over all people is nice, no pressure at all and Kenny the financial manager was excellent! Went here for mechanic services on my car. Staff was friendly, used the shuttle service to be picked up from work.

They did replace a part without informing me which I was a little surprised by, but it was a break light and needed to be done so oh well! I will continue to use them in the future.

I recently purchased a pre-owned cx9 from this location. Exceptional service from start to finish. I had the pleasure of dealing with Eric Jui and he was very professional and was very knowledgable about the entire fleet of vehicles. I haven't purchased a vehicle in a long time and was weary of the sales experience but this was a refreshing experience that I would recommend for anyone in the market for a vehicle.

Best service in town. I just had my '13 Mazda 3 written off for me as an early Christmas gift from an octogenarian. Thankfully, the survival space was well engineered and I am still here after a brutal head on collision.

David Sousa did a great job getting me back into a new and improved '15 Mazda 3 in record time. The service here was above and beyond the call of duty. They have taken great care of me twice now when I unexpectedly found myself without a vehicle.

North Hill Mazda is the dealer from where I purchased first car of my life, Mazda 3 sport. I have been dealing with them for past 2 years and I am completely satisfied with their product and services.
SALES: Their sales staff is knowledgeable and persuasive, that's why I own a Mazda.
SERVICES: When my Mazda goes to this dealership, I know that it is in safe hands. They have always appropriately addressed my concerns and provided me quickest and best service. I usually wait in their customer lounge or main floor when my car is being serviced. I feel very much at home when I am there. Their staff is very sociable and concerned.
PARTS: North Hill Mazda is also my first stop for spare parts and upgrades. From winter tires to cargo box, I have been contacting them. I do not need to shop around because I get the right part at the right price from here.

Based on my overall experience, I highly recommend this dealership for new car purchase, repairs, and parts.

I took my car into Mazda yesterday to get an oil change and car wash. When I was getting gas last night I noticed a dent above my tail light that wasn't there before. I took it into Mazda to show them. The service manager took the technician and guy who washed my car out to see the dent while I was in the waiting room. The technician said he didn't notice it before while the guy washing the car said it was already there. I know it wasn't there before but he is believing the guy who washed the car
