Terrible service dept. Had my oil changed and my summer wheels put on--they sprayed the whole tailgate and my winter wheels with motor oil. When I asked about it, the service manager tried to convince me that it was my fault. "We don't spray our cars with anything here," he said. I realize that isn't standard procedure, but it still didn't stop them from doing it, or cleaning it up for that matter. The next time I brought my car in for a small leak in the sunroof, they totally ruined the head liner in the cabin. They replaced that, but all the moldings in the car don't fit quite right anymore, and a few are bent up from when someone forced them back on. Stay away from these guys.

I am extremely happy with the time and patience and knowledge shared and help I received from David Sosa, Danielle, and Lindsey at Northill Mazda. Awesome customer service. Zero pressure, I would highly recommend seeing David, if you are interested in a Mazda.

I bought my brand new 2007 Mazda 3 at North Hill Mazda, and have always taken it there for service. I've only had positive experiences with the friendly service staff. I love the way they help me keep track of what needs to be done on my car and when, and they usually call me for a reminder when it needs to be done. One time, I drove over a nail and needed to get my tire fixed, and after shopping around, I discovered that NHM was willing to do the work cheaper than the tire companies. I highly recommend them!

My girlfriend I are are the EXTREMELY PROUD NEW owners of our first Car together. We purchased a 2015 Mazda 3 Sport GT from North Hill Mazda and the service, and attention we received made for an incredible experience.

Our Sales Associate was David Sosa; and from the first encounter to the signing of the papers he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He made me feel extremely comfortable with the decision making process, and at the time I was corresponding with my girlfriend who could not be there - he was very patient, and courteous of our needs and wants in a vehicle. What I loved the most about the whole decision making process was at no time did David push any features, or cars on the lot that didn't fit my criteria. It was never "Hey I have this car, or this one, or this one." It was only, what would you like in YOUR car, and if it wasn't on the lot (Which it wasn't) he got it for us.

IF you're still reading at this point - it may sound like..yeah any car dealership will do that for you..but they won't! They really really won't, which is why this isn't the first Mazda dealership we went in to in our surrounding area, and in Edmonton.

There was no sleazy salesman experience here! No "HEy, let me try and talk to the boss, and get him on your side..." OR no back and forth trying to highball or low ball the other person. NO need to upsell on accessories that David already knew wouldn't fit my lifestyle. It was a real honest experience.

After customizing our perfect car with a blend of luxury, affordability and comfort we were on to the next phase of North Hill mazda which was finance with Danielle who helped us out with finding the rebates we qualify for, work out payments and interests rates that were applicable, and finally going over the numbers which surprised us on how affordable our car was going to be!

After that we met Lindsey who deals with getting us OUR car, going over the details, inspection, and finally making sure that if we had any accessories or add on (Which we did...we had a lot!) they were installed in a timely matter, and if anything to longer than she could foresee she was on our side making sure we had a courtesy car, and were always kept in the loop 100% of the time!

From the moment I walked in the door, to the moment I walked out, and continue to be in contact with North HIll Mazda there is no panic, stress, or fear of the unknown which I feel in the car world - is always a great feeling to experience!

I would highly recommend the entire team of North Hill Mazda, and David Sosa as your sales Representative. He made getting into our perfect car that much easier, and a real joyous experience!

First time I went to this location (North Hill Mazda) for battery replacement, and they did replace the battery, performed an alignment and fixed noise I was hearing from the back of my 2011 Mazda 3 in the same day! Sure I've paid for an extra service:).
I am really satisfied and staff are really friendly!

When I walked into the showroom, I was instantly welcomed. Everyone here instantly makes you feel at home. I met with David Hofmann, who took me through the models I was interested in in the showroom, answered all my questions (very knowledgeable about the product), and took me on a test drive. At the end we discussed all my options, he introduced me to the service department, and I met the sales manager; I left with a brochure of my prospective new vehicle. I left with absolutely no questions. My experience here far exceed my expectations. I would recommend David and his team any day. Thanks so much :)

Unskilled staff and terrible service. We bought our Mazda about 3 years ago, and the previous owner used to have the maintenance done at this location. Every time when we had the car in for service, they broke something to it: after the first major service, we took the car from their shop with the cruise control not working. The next major maintenance service, all they had to do, really was to replace the sparks and change the oil. They charged us for a series of "services" they never performed, and in top of it, we took the car from their shop with the AC system not working. We went back, and asked to talk to the service manager, Ryan, to see if they can fix it right-a-way, since they broke it in the first place. He said that we will have to pay for diagnose and repair if we want it fixed. What kind of SCAM is this? They break it just to make you pay more money???????
We could deal with the fact that the customer service is bad, but to pay thousands of dollars to have your car broken - well, that is just wrong.
Don't even bother to go to their shop. They are just a bunch of guys trying to rip you off, and don't expect anybody to take responsibility if they are making mistakes. They will never accept was their mistake, and you will end up like us - with no money, and a car to fix.
We wish we would have read some of the reviews, and not get scamed,

We bought a 2015 Mazda 3 GS from NorthHill Mazda and we have no regrets. Its a totally awesome ride, as awesome as the staff at NorthHill. I recommend potential buyers to visit NorthHill because they are the best that I've dealt with. They did all the hard work. The only thing I had to do was read the documents and just sign.
Also, there was no pressure from them to purchase but just pure professional persuasion which made us feel comfortable.
Again!! I recommend NorthHill to any and every potential car buyer...

Always have excellent service on my car here. They listen to my concerns. Always cheerful. I never leave feeling as though i paid for more than i should have. If there is something that needs replacing they will talk me through it and tell me honestly if i can get a few more miles from something before changing it. Having courtesy drop me at work is great and will do what they can to accomodate my schedule. Very happy with Northill Mazda.

At my last car appointment in January, they offered to change the battery for my car key. The mechanic didn't know how to open it and he broke the key. He used super glue to fix it. Also, they did not firmly tightened screws at the tire wheel after they changed tires. This led to camber holes and had to change the rim, which was very expensive.

I have questions about Mazda's build quality after my purchase, but it sounds like mine was more of an exception than the expectation. (also, irrelevant to their rating as a dealership).

From the moment I called them to the moment I drove my new car away the experience has been beyond phenomenal. I just love the people. Pavel has been an amazing sales rep, more like a friend. Paul, the Sales Manager being honest, informative and great help. Lindsey, the girl who was patient all the way in describing me the features and functions. Kenny, gem of a person from Finance dept. who was thorough and brief. It felt a great moment when all came to congratulate us for buying the car including the GM for thanking us.

When I say beyond, these people picked us and dropped us a couple of times happily. Were proactive and eager to help and support all the way. Even when the car came to the lot, there were 2-3 days before I was available to come and get it. They offered me pick and drop again just to come, see and admire my car :)

My experience couldn't have been better. I did talk to other Mazda dealers in Calgary but no one was near the level of service that these lovely people provided. I highly recommend these people.

I love the "boutiquie" feel of the North Hill Mazda dealership. I bought my Mazda from North Hill because of their good service reputation. They always follow up after servicing to ensure that everything is satisfactory.
My car is always ready when promised and they give it a complimentary wash. The customer service reps and technicians are all very friendly and professional.

Worst experience with sales Donna.
My mom really likes Mazda 3. so I took her to this location, because it has a really good rating. That day happens to be the second last day for the free gas card promotion. Donna helped us, wrote down our PINs and said she would take care of the free gas card. The second day, I left her a message to ask if the gas cards has been approved. Later, I got a phone call from her. She demanded us to buy a car from her before she can help us with the free gas card promotion. I explained to her that we were thinking about it, my mom was at work at that time, and we couldn't go right away to discuss further about the car. She was furious, yelling and accusing us for wasting her time and "causing unnecessary troubles "
We genuinely like Mazda 3, and serious about buying one. However, we are absolutely not going back again just because of her! We've been to different dealers, but have never seen a sales who has a professionalism any way closer to hers.

We dealt with David Hoffman at North Hill Mazda and he was very helpful. We met with him few times, by the time we made the deal and he was patient, helpful and supportive the whole way through. Robin and Lindsey were efficient and because of them the whole process went so smoothly. Overall, a great experience!

I'm very happy to say I m driving a brand new Mazda CX5 with everything I wanted and more! Thank you so much to you guys!!

I've bought one car from the team at North Hill Mazda and am in the process of buying another one! This is a fantastic business that's been around for a while. The surprising part was that the team works well together and they support each other. They specialize in high quality, unusual and special imports. They have a reputation for outstanding quality, honesty, and integrity. I've enjoyed doing business here both times I bought from them. Pricing on the cars and your trade in will be fair, the buying process is easy, and I left with a great deal on my new (used) car.

I will go back here again because of the excellent customer service and high quality vehicles. The North Hill team really knows their cars well, you won't find a better used car dealer than North Hill Mazda.

Eric would have to be the most laid back non pushy person that I ve met. The only questions he ever asked me was what more information would I like? .
Not a sleezy sales person (be weary of Gary Moe Red Deer Mazda)

It was a great experience dealing with Eric. I purchased my car from him.

Also, trade in was a decent price. No hassle, straight forward.

We just bought our beautiful Mazda CX5 GT from North Hill Mazda and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience. From the moment we came into the parking lot we were greeted by Marek and he helped us and guide us through the whole process, he was very knowledgeable and patience with all of our questions and introduced us to all the key players in the sale from start to end. Marek was the main reason we decided to buy here and not somewhere else, he is the best... We also received superior customer service from Paul, Kenny, Lindsey and recently from the nice guys from the Service Department, where we brought our Mazda 3 for service, making of our experience at North Hill Mazda one of the best purchasing experiences we ever had. This was my first time servicing my Mazda at North Hill. I found the staff to be very friendly, all of the work was done quickly, and the shuttle service to downtown was very efficient (both dropping me off and picking me up after work). They recommended some needed work, but also said it could wait (no pressure tactics).

Overall, very pleased with the servicing, and will be taking my Mazda there again.

We just purchased a brand new 2014 Mazda6 snowflake white. Finance team (Ken) went out of his way to get a me a deal (I came in looking at 2011/2012 Mazda3, and walked out with 2014 Mazda 6), sales team (Geoff) was extremely accommodating, very knowledgeable, great sense of humor. The whole team waited after closing just for me to pick up my vehicle, not once did I feel rushed when I was signing papers, and being shown the ins and outs of the car. They sure set the bar high for the parts & services team... we'll see when I visit for my first oil change :)

PS. LOVE MY MAZDA6, thank you North Hill Mazda

I recently bought a Mazda 3. After visiting a few other dealerships, I was impressed by the customer service I received from the team at North hill Mazda. Danielle, the finance manager, was also great. She is very professional, friendly, and patient while explaining everything. My only complaint is that shortly after I bought my car, it started to have major electrical issues with the driver's side window and I've had to go back 2 times for this problem and it still hasn't been properly fixed. For the most part, the service staff has been easy to work with but I hope they can finally resolve this issue.

After spending considerable time searching for the right deal on a new Mazda - and having less than satisfying experiences at other dealerships - My dad and I felt fortunate to meet Mr David Hoffman (and his manager ) at North Hill Mazda. Not only did we get the very best trade in value but also the best price on my new vehicle ! They were informative and highly professional ! She didn t try to screw me around by charging me any extra fees. This was not my experience elsewhere. Rob was very nice as well. I felt respected here. Thanks guys!

I brought my car in to have my back bumper put on the advisor Aron said it would have to left for the day I was ok with that taking the day off work. Later that day 2:45 pm I got a text saying my car was done and called and asked how did it go ? He said nothing was done only fluids were checked ! It s not covered under warranty well I was furious when I went to pick up the car the tape that I had put on was not the same as when I dropped it off which could have been a road hazard. I asked to speak to Aron and he was very rude to me while smoking his Vape claiming that I yelled at him. Any way I fixed my problem myself the point is it should have been communicated better rather then waiting all day to accomplish anything. Just to note this is my second car that I purchased from here but will have no more revenue from me again I will go to another Mazda dealership moving forward. It s no wonder why so many changes in staff there terrible service experience for me just passing it along beware!!!

I have been going to North Hill Mazda for several years now and recently upgraded my vechile with them.

Everyone from the sales staff to finance to management made me feel very welcome and took away a lot of the stress of buying a new car. There were happy to help me with any questions I had during the purchasing of my vehicle and when I had questions in the following weeks as I got use to my new car there was always someone to help me out.

Buying a new car and servicing from North Hill Mazda has been a great experience for me and I would highly recommend checking them out next time you are in the market for a new vechile.

I am always happy to come in and get my CX-5 GT serviced at North Hill Mazda. I appreciate the thorough, kind, and polite way the service technicians help me to understand the work they will do before and after they work on my vehicle.
My sales associate, Donna, often stops by to chat with me while I'm waiting in the lounge upstairs. I like the fact that she has continued to personalize my experience at Mazada, and as a result, I feel more like a friend than a client. Donna's knowledge and expertise of matching the right vehicle with the right person guarantees that when I want to buy another vehicle, she will be who I seek out, and North Hill Mazda will be where I spend my money. Once again the team at North Hill Mazda exceeded my expectations. My issues were quickly and accurately identified. The service was prompt and courteous. The convenience of being dropped off downtown and then picked up later in the day by a friendly shuttle driver made the experience easy to manage, even with a busy schedule.

This was the best car buying experience I could have hoped for. After going to a few dealerships and being pretty turned off by the salespeople, I was incredibly happy to have found this place. David Sosa is literally the best salesman I've ever encountered. He was genuine, caring and really went out of his way to make sure I not only got exactly the vehicle I wanted, but also that the experience was effortless and enjoyable. Edit: I have since been personally contacted by the dealership since posting this review; I have made revisions and please see my reply in the paragraph below the first.

The sales lady Talia was very friendly and accommodating on our test drives. Top marks there. However when it came to the beginning of the deal process, I and my girlfriend was shown over $1500 in extra "fees" (for nitro, wheel locks, etc.) and both of us were led to believe that the cost was non-negotiable and that even if I didn't want the fee items the entire cost would remain. I went to Kramer Mazda next week and they had no issue removing the extra fees with me asking just once, and gave me a reasonable discount on a new 2020 Mazda3 Sport. I wished I could have bought here for all the help I got from Talia, but in the end $1500 in extra fees is inexcusable as a customer. It's not her fault, I assume the policy is not up to her.

I have since been contacted by the dealership. They have clarified that the aforementioned ~$1500 in fees is indeed negotiable and can be asked to be removed if not wanted (aside from the $100 air tax, $6.25 AMVIC fee and $20 tire recycling fee), and they have sincerely apologized for the miscommunication in regards to the fees when we began to look at prices. Note that I do have a picture of the Mazda3 price sheet from them that clearly shows the ~$1500 in fees, if that is in any dispute. I genuinely appreciate the gesture by Talia to reach out to me and to clear up the situation, despite me having purchased a Mazda3 elsewhere. It is a regrettable situation because I otherwise found Talia to be a good salesperson and I hope North Hill Mazda more clearly clarifies the complete nature of their extra fees to their subsequent customers, regardless of where they are in the negotiation process. I wish them all the best in the future.

Everyone I encountered there was friendly, professional, and fair. Donna Ritter was my sales consultant and I absolutely loved working with her. She's very personable, knowledgeable and patient. She made me very comfortable during the entire experience. I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a car to seek her out! Danielle, with finance services, was also wonderful to work with. I have come to really appreciate the people in the service department. I was skeptical at first, confused at times, and there were some miscommunications. But overall for sure I think the service department has mechanics and advisors that are competent and genuinely good people who try. I respect and value them. Been going there 2-3 years. Anna-Lynne has been their the whole time I have gone, and my respect for her has increased over the years. She really tries to make things work!

Smaller really is better. I had been to another car dealership where, after a half hour of self service, my presence was acknowledged. At North Hill Mazda David Sosa approached me immediately and proved to warm, friendly, exceptionally helpful and totally straightforward. He knew the cars well and explained the pricing thoroughly: "I don't like last minute cost surprises" he said. Bob Orchard, the general manager, made a point of introducing himself as did Paul the sales manager. There is a small town feel to this big city dealership and I hope they keep the personal touch. BTW I love my Mazda 3 so far - more fun than you would imagine from an economy car!

If I could give 10 stars I would. The team here is so amazing and made my decision so easy! When purchasing a new car there is so much to consider, but their customer service made it a no-brainer. Our family has been with NH Mazda for over 15 years and there is a reason! Thanks to David, Rob & their wonderful team for my new ride! I am so in love. Update **** Just picked up my second brand new car from North Hill Mazda and again was completed wowed. The service, one on one attention and complete understanding of my needs and how to meet them from Troy Stephenson (my sales guy) was second to none. Kurt in finance was super efficient, very knowledgeable and of course a big thanks to Lindsay Allen at my delivery and taking the time to make sure I knew what did what. I love my new car and am so grateful for the people here who helped make it happen. If you want the best car buying experience you HAVE to go here. I went to north ill and dealt with David. He was extremely good to work with and as honest as I have ever seen a car salesmen. I ended up falling in love with a performance vehicle at another dealership and couldnt help myself, but I truly debated buying the mazda from David just because he was so good to work with.

They were great, from sales person, to manager, to finance, to delivery. I actually shopped around at other Mazda dealerships, but I felt genuinely cared about at Northhill. I told them my needs and they met them rather than just trying to sell me something. I have bought from them before and enjoyed my 2nd experience with them. I would buy there again and recommend you do as well. Also, they're care and positive attitude does not come at a higher price. It's just who they are. Additionally, I have alway been well looked after well by the service department at Northhill.

Went here after a bad experience at another mazda. They were night and day different with their approach. A little honesty and genuinely wanting to help a customer out goes a long way in my books. Very easy to deal with, and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs.

I'm very excited to share that I just recently purchased my fourth vehicle with North Hill Mazda, a 2015 CX5. The service and sales department has provided me with the upmost professional customer service over the last 8 years. The dealership has always supported me with answering any questions on my vehicles and has always accommodated me with my very busy schedule. The staff is always courteous and very knowledgeable on their products and has always provided exceptional customer service. We have been coming to this dealership for quite a few years and bought a couple of cars here. We are always being treated very well. Donna will always be our go to sales person. We recommend her to others whenever we can. Happy with the service department as well. They take their time to look at things and explain things.
We also like the fact that this is a smaller dealership.

David Sosa who greeted us , was professional , experienced and personable & organized and understood how a first time buyer can feel ...over whelmed etc.
We took two 30 minute test drives to get to feel how each car felt , he wasn't
a "pushy car sales man " and made our decision very easy and comfortable.
David picked up my husband from his work place to collect our new Mazda from the dealership and helped us in any way we needed.
Financial Manager Danielle is amazing and made purchasing easy , she is professional and so helpful at explaining everything.
