Horrible Horrible. Had one of there adjusters come out and inspect my roof and put latter on roof and messed up a portion of my gutters and said he would write that in the proposal and replace the gutters. Guess what! That didnt happen.
Apparently we had a completely different experience than some of the earlier reviewers. Chris Stephens was outstanding. He investigated and had corrected an important policy endorsement that was apparently not showing up which enabled full benefits to be accessed. Chris answered our many many questions promptly and with a positive and helpful attitude. He always followed up just as he said and promised. He reached out to the underlying firm responsible for administering the claim and made sure that accurate benefit amounts were being approved - or, at least, it felt that way and that was the result. Chris was also very helpful with the Fortified Roof program and working through the issues involved and getting the funds released. Chris was very knowledgeable but if he didn't know an answer to a question he said so and found the answer and reported back. In sum, we had an outstanding experience working with Chris and appreciated his help.
They are taking advantage of black people in small town areas. They didn't inform my grandmother (whom was in her 70s at the time nor my mother, that they had no water damage coverage and more which they had in thier previous policy. They did not explain any of the coverages that was removed. This company is a fraud and total waste of money.

Whoever the lady is that answers the phone is sooooo rude! Dont expect to be confused and ask for clarification because you'll just recieve a very snotty response and treated like in idiot. I had to call her because of my job and even with being super nice to her she has in attitude! This is the second time! Not cool at and very disrespectful. She really needs to be taught how to give better customer service because obviously she doesn't know how to be kind.
About 4 years ago a tree sideswiped our house. They were very fair in the amount given to replace and remodel the damage. It's amazing to me how one person can have such a professional and reliable experience. And the next person says the same company is worthless. Hhhmmmm,,,, maybe there's more to it than that? I have had nothing but great service from NCJUA... both for many years there great service and I would say that top claims service with a claims after storms. Great coverage for us on the coast!
I have a open claim from a water damage that has me out of my house while repairs are done. NCJUA employees laugh at me when I call in and will not simply spell there names for my records. I have to have things spelled for me for personal reasons. The last claims deptartmment representative told me they didn t have a Human Resources dept when I asked to speak to them. They will try to embarrass you! They told me I was avoiding giving them information. I send in the documents they ask for and every time I call back they want different documentation??
