Had a Sunday brunch with couple of friends. Not impressive at all. The place is huge so there is no shortage of seating yet our server stopped giving us any attention after a while when we finished our food as a signal to leave so he can serve others!! Not welcoming at all and the food, well what can you expect from an all you can eat buffet?

Great lunch at Normandie Farms. Nice variety on the lunch menu. Good-sized portions. We had wonderful service from Santos. Our group enjoyed the popovers with raspberry jam. Members of our part really like the quiche, crab cake sandwich, beef tips and calves liver. Loved the atmosphere and history of the restaurant.

So good to have an enjoyable Sunday brunch at Normamdie Farm restaurant where you can get delicious French food , nice wine and good service !! It is absolutely a best choice for family and friends gathering for a relaxing summer time !!

The food was fine, some dishes even outstanding, yet overall it was unexceptional. I was expecting something that lived up to the reputation as a premier restaurant. The service was fine, the bread brought to the table was unique as it was puff pastry on a grand scale, and the table clean. But what stood out Above All Else was the smell and filth of a carpet. I just don't understand how anyone can allow that in a restaurant of quality.

I always have fun at Normandie Farm. The food, atmosphere and friendly staff especially Tiffany and Chef Cary make Normandie Farm my go-to place for fun. The addition of Italian food makes it perfect for me. Entertainment and open Mic always fun. Love Terry Lee Ryan especially but others like Rob Patrick and Tom Saputo make it a great place to go. Be sure to check it out!!!

We went to Normandie Farm for my wife s birthday lunch. The service was superb. This is a nice rustic French restaurant with a quiet fireside dining experience. Tony was a really great server. His knowledge of the menu was very helpful in deciding what to order. The wine service was nice and the crumb sweeping added an elegant touch. The food was terrific and the service was top notch. A definite recommendation for a special romantic occasion.

I'm a newcomer to the area (from Connecticut) and was fortunate to be taken there for dinner in the early fall. I love, love, loved it! The food was excellent, the popovers were scrumptious, the staff was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was quiet and quaint - a real step back in time.

I love going to Nirmandie Farm for brunch. The food is excellent and the pop overs are so yummy. It nice to celebrate a birthday or special occasion. My friends founded this restaurant they would be proud of what the new owners have done.

I've had breakfast here many times, and it is consistently good. The menu is not extensive but there's something for everyone. Eggs Benedict, pancakes, bagel and smoked salmon, omelet, plus a few other regular breakfast options, are all on offer. Normandie Farm is known for its popovers and they are amazing; one comes with your breakfast choice. The quiche I had on my last visit was a little on the soggy side but the potatoes were amazing. Crisp roasted wedges that outshone the quiche. If you're looking for somewhere quiet for a weekday breakfast, this is a very good choice.

They have to do something with the popovers they were too well quote I assume that they just heat them again and it was very messy to eat I understand they stop making them at certain hours and they should find a way to keep them fresh I was wondering if they heated them up in the microwave with the a paper towel that was wet might help it

I bought Thanksgiving dinner curbside pickup for my family this year from Normandie Farm Restaurant. The pickup process was amazing. All COVID 19 protocols seemed to be followed and the wait staff was friendly and accommodating. They offered me a complimentary drink while I waited for my order. We got the 18 lb Turkey with mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce. My whole family said it was the best turkey we had ever had and I agreed. It was moist and you could tell it was cooked shortly before we got there. All the sides were great as well. This as my first experience here and I definitely recommend this place. Thank you for a great Thanksgiving Normandie Farm!!

We went there this past weekend for brunch time. Food was great, service was not well. This establishment is a well known place but we were surprised the wait staff were not as helpful, the ratio of wait staff to patrons were wide and they seemed not concerned about it. For the price and reputation of this restaurant, we were expecting much better service. The food was as various and great as always.

Poor service, the buss boy was doing a better job than the server, had to ask for the menu, didn t wish happy birthday when there is tons of balloons on our table, food poisoning after eating their seafood, manager was raising his voice over my son running around, pork undercooked, server never checked back on our food, overpriced for the quality given.

They were quite busy but given it was a Mother's Day buffet reasonably attentive. Some of the food was a bit bland to my taste other dishes like the main entrees were quite tasty. The marinated tofu was very tasty.

WOW! Best high quality Brunch BUFFET I've had in decades! Lots of food options and all are DELICIOUS FOODS! We've had lunch and dinner here several times but that was years ago. I recently found out Normandie Farms did a Sunday brunch buffet!!! Heard they had many options of high quality offerings and that they would offer an even more extensive array of foods for New Years Day Brunch. I hear that their usual Sunday brunch price is a bit less than the special holiday New Year's brunch price, yet it was well worth it.
We both had a chef cook fresh omelets on the spot, made with ingredients of our personal request. From the buffet, I added freshly made blueberry pancake bacon and suasage and fresh fruit. My husband added freshly made waffles sausage. I order a hot chocolate and then a bellini & he a mimosa and then coffee. That satisfied breakfast. We then tried lunch items from the buffet. I had oysters on the half-shell, artichoke hearts, a gourmet salad, roast beef, spinach turnover. He had the beef as well as several other items. I think we only tried 25% of the New Year's day brunch offering but, we very much appreciated that the variety existed, as we want to try them all on our intended future visits. And for times when we'll bring guest to dine with us, we can be confident that they can have other great options, that may or may not be the same as our choices.

If you are a desert person, you will be thrilled! We were very full but went to the desert table just to take a look... THE BEST ASSORTMENT OF GOURMET DESSERTS seen at a buffet! I had the chocolate mousse -light and just right. My husband enjoyed the chocolate cake!, If I had stomach space I also wanted to try these delicious looking others (creme brulee, flan apple pie, lemon merange).
NORMANDIE FARMS DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!

My husband and I celebrated our 2019 New Year's Day 26th Anniversary there and LOVED the Foodie experience! Equally impressive was their friendly and very attentive (yet not intrusive) staff. There were many patrons, yet you felt like they wait staff was fully aware of you...your main water and 2 other wait staff members pleasantly refilled water, drinks, coffee timely and unobtrusively.

The restaurant has a nice quaint French provincial intimate home several rooms all separated by wide connecting doors allowing an open airy feel but low noise. They can accommodate a large amount of people and it was full for New Year's Day brunch, yet still a nice mellow ambiance that allowed for private conversations and an intimate dining experience to go with the delectable food. Now that we know of its greatness, we'll definitely be going back there for Sunday brunches!

We like this place. I used to come here now and then for brunch. Now that we're in the pandemic, i ordered off the menu for the first time. There were hits and misses. Despite so, the weather was great and we enjoyed our lunch anyway.

Great place for Tea and Brunch. The restaurant isn't fancy but it looks very historical. Easy to find. Tea is only during the week so that is limiting. You are served Tea so I don't think you have a choice on type. There is a buffet for scones and sandwiches. Large parking lot. And it's great for large parties.

Accidently stumbled upon this rare gem! Normandie Farm Restaurant is located on the hills of Potomac, Maryland. It is conveniently located 10 minutes from the Westlake Shopping (Montgomery Mall). Took my Mother to celebrate her Birthday! The food was amazing and the service was superb! The rustic decor and the beautiful scenery outside will have you left speechlesss! Will definitely be coming back!

Old style elegance in food and service-prices are surprisingly reasonable.. spoiling ourselves with wonderful dishes all the many times we ate there..fabulous pop-up breads. Why wait till Mothers Day or a birthday or anniversary? Spoil yourself any time! Rare find was Beef Wellington done masterfully. A fun food to play with is the cheese stuffed whole baked artichoke .. large and delicious. Delicious desserts and after drinks. We like to dine in the formal main room then adjourn to the lounge for dancing and music if it is not too crowded and only just busy. Same great service with good sounds and separate dance floor. It certainly is worth the drive from Tysons and Virginia.

Was here for a work dinner meeting. The pop over things we blah, nothing to be noted and we only got offered one! The balsamic dressing for salad was so thick it was like pudding. I felt like they were trying to be upscale but doing too much. They only have one bathroom. Priced high for what I felt was no reason. My butter knife wasn't even sharp to cut my food . Grilled salmon was fine. Small portions. Ppl hyped this up place up for now reason. I was starving after my meal here. I wouldn't spend my money or go back unless I have to. Go elsewhere.

I had lunch recently at Normandie Farm with two girl friends I hadn t seen in quite a while. We had a lot of catching up to do, and Normandie turned out to be the perfect place. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was great, the food was delicious, and we were able to converse at a normal level instead of raised voices required by poor acoustics in so many restaurants. We lingered after lunch for more conversation and no one rushed us. I highly recommend Normandie and plan to return.
