An impressive and depressing exhibition about the current winners.
Absolutely not recommended for children, but adults make it think and give insights into the unacceptable conditions in other parts of our world.

I loved the exhibitions here!! When I went, there was the Generation Wealth one, the one about nuclear events and bombs, and also the permanent Nobel one. They were all very informative and interesting and I enjoyed learning about it all!

I found the entrance fee of museum too high by standard of exhibitiion. Very normal exhibits about peace prize winners. It doesnt generate enthusiasm in you to learn, if you yourself are very enthusiastic and love to read then museum has lot of info. But so does google . I found it expensive and not promising.

Beautiful building. Too bad only the peace part is here. That was really a disappointment! The price was too high considering what was on display. We really thought we had talked about something. Then went around again but there really was no extra floor! Disappointing. A sufficient to the technique they use to exhibit.

Fabulous hotel. Outstanding staff, special thanks to James head concierge and Isaac who does everything, the women at breakfast and the women at the front desk. Great linens and towels. We enjoyed our stay 5 nights and 6 days.

Looks like a regular building from outside ;) And it was great to be here, where some truly amazing people were recognized with awards. You can get inside for free and buy some merchandise there and if you want a full tour, you need to buy a ticket.

This place is very good. It is educational. The awards help give a voice to local and international activist around the world. Also, the Nobel peace center displays Nobel Prize winners, the history of how it started and everything that is related to the prize. I recommend it and it is very good place to visit as a tourist.

Our expectations sadly were not matched. We would have loved even some more information on the nominees in general. Our expectations in mind, the center has a nice exhibition about the contemporary nominees. Additionally there is room for another exhibition. Every Nobel peace prize receiver is shortly depicted as well as the process of selecting him or her.

Don't bother visiting.... it's like a hollow shell. The concept of peace isn't explained by hanging some bright pictures on a wall. The actual hall of nobelpricewinners feels like a discograveyard.

I did learn that Alfred Nobel was a genuis in the pursuit of financial gain and the inventing of the actual nobelpeaceprice was hoped to be his ticket in to heaven after a life of riches at the cost of many human lives. A peacecentre in his honour seems unfitting.

The employees are very kind but the entrancefee is better spend on some coffee by the bayside. Enjoy Oslo, it's a lovely city...

I cannot describe my feeling when I was visiting Nobel peace center. I recommend when you visit there , beside looking at the pictures and listening to audio materials , read carefully sentences that have been written on the walls. When I was there , the pictures were about Syrian kids of the war , I couldn't control my emotions. It was so sad.

The reception staff (who were a bloody man) was so rude and unpolite. It's not about peace or something. Just a game of capitalism and nothing more. The building is laterally unnecessary, nothing for impressive.

Very nicely done, with some interesting topics, the exhibition of all Nobel Prize winners is also very well done. On a city trip to Oslo, you can even plan that with the Oslo Pass, because then admission is free

Noble peace prize given here. There is a museum inside this building. You need to buy a ticket for enter the museum. You can find the photos of every Noble peace laureate there. In the right side there is a souvenir a shop, they selling different types of products with the photos of every Noble laureate like, key rings, view cards, rings, magnate and books and different other souvenir. Price is little bit high i think. In the left side there is a cafeteria. There is wheelchair accessible entrance. The place is kids friendly.

Good for people who want to know about prize winners. There enough literature and videos to understand the work done by the winners.
Ones who are not interested in knowing them or ones running short of time, don't even bother to get in as it may bore you to the core or may not be worth short time at disposal. Very near to city hall.

Nice temporary exhibition and the museum gives a good view and sufficient information about the history of the Nobel Price and about peace. Audioguide was free but sometimes slow and false in cases of language and grammar (German Audioguide).

The rating is for the museum not the organization. There wasn't much to see in the museum that you can't search for home or wiki. Not sure why there is an entrance fee...really?? The gift shop is slightly better, but I really struggle to find positives in the review.

The Noble Peace Center is a very amazing and emotional place. The downstairs was things like growing plants and civil rights. But, when you went upstairs there was a whole section about sexual assault and how big it has become and why we need to work together to stop it. Then there is a room full of screens and on the screens it switches back from a photo of the author of the quote and the quote. I don t remember all of the quotes. But there we amazing. I highly recommend going there if you are ever in Europe.

Expected a huge spectacle. There is one room with all the Nobel Peace prize winners and gorgeous interior design yes, but I didn't see the relevance with the current exhibition that took the whole lower level. I did like the history of the prize in digital flippable projected book version. And the entry sticker. The pencil photo machine felt like I was mislead and tricked, didn't even get a soft copy of my image. So.... 3 stars.

Be prepared for a very profound experience. The Nobel Peace Center is definitely worth the price of admission, but not in an entertaining and fun way. This is a very well done, and unflattering look at the ways the human race is failing itself, with a glimmer of hope portrayed through the few people who are making a standout difference. Please take the time to stop in if you re in the area.

Small exhibition on 2017 ICAN Ban the Bomb with every Nobel Laurette s bio displayed on standalone iPads. I probably will not read a book about Nobel Peace Prize so the 1 hour spent here is well worth it. I paid 80NOK for entrance fee but apparently you can just walk in. Free WiFi and audio guide available on their website.

Nobel Peace Center is recommended! The installation of the exhibition was a welcoming one, addressing various themes as well as forms of expression (photos, video and sound installations ect). Nobel Prize had a room full of tablets, each presenting a person - Nobel Prize and the Work of the person.
Also, the shop not only offers some little things of the museum, but has a large shelf of interesting books !!
