NIT Surat Review

It's my alma mater. Passed out in 1987 (Mech Engg). Those days it used to be called SVRCET. Great college and excellent campus. Highly recommended for aspiring engineers.

One of the top NITs in India and declared as Institute of national importance by Government of India. SVNIT was ranked 2nd in NITs, overall 6th in research, and overall 15th by NIRF last year.

This is the best place to not only study bt also to explore everything in life.

Worst Engineering college of India with corrupt administration which is full of lazy and arrogant people. All of the infrastructure in this college is deteriorating. The new buildings such as NCRC are complete fake show it's shame on the name of NIT.

Worst ever behaviour from any teacher of any college. The campus building are as old as 20 30 yrs old. The faculty dont even know how to talk to students. I request u not to talk admission here. Very very disappointing behavoir.

It is the best education place. The atmosphere is beautiful and nature of surrounding is awesome. The education system is amazing. The campus is spread in large area. The students are also highly talented. The library is amazing and the teaching process is best. The laboratory for practical has all equipment. One should at-least visit these amazing and beautiful place.

It is one of the best engineering colleges in the Gujarat. And probably the best engineering college in South Gujarat! With a campus which is located in the heart of the Surat city and pretty darn good accessibility to almost all the things which you do need for entertainment makes it pretty good choice! And on the top of that lustgreen and humongous campus also adds to the beauty of this Institution!

Awesome campus...

It is very much silent and versatile place. As here so many students are doing their btech, mtech and PhD, so you will be always surrounded by minded and good people. The canteen facility and hostels are really good. The roads, infrastructure and other entity's are also appreciable. There is also playground and tennis court available. Campus is also equipped with gym and other sport related stuffs. Overall this all thing makes this campus something special, vibrant, unique and bold.
