CCA products are good, but not exceptional. The customer service could use some improvement. Overall, an average experience.

Work first shift and you'll see why you can't give black ppl any power, so many attitudes from the Captains to the Lieutenants it's ridiculous! Then it's the same people on the OT list every single day. But let you call off for any reason! It's all types of paperwork on you! Their training is so preschool, anybody with a GED can get hired as long as you pass a drug test. They hire anybody! You call for a lieutenant to come assist you they ask you what's the problem instead of doing their job coming to find out. Inmates talk about the drugs they get in through visit and I'm not surprised, the pat-search they do is a joke. But it could be worse compared to other places I guess.
Absolutely the worst detention center I've ever encountered. It has to be the most unorganized, dysfunctional, unprofessional institution on the planet. The guards, excuse me "correctional officers" are not trained properly, thoroughly or they're incompetent or both. Its so unfortunate that our love ones get themselves into trouble or criminal activities or whatever and have to be placed in these types of institutions. But its more unfortunate that they have to be placed at CCA on Harding Pl.
Your employees need to stop smuggling drugs into the jails and then placing inmates in max lockdown because they were smoking it!!!!!!!!!
If you have ever been in jail or have visited someone in jail in Calif. You would appreciate what a well functioning detention facility this truly is. The guards treat you with respect and their mission truly is to make a person a better citizen before release. When you want to visit a inmate in Calif. They can keep you waiting for 6 hours, and God forbid you ask a guard a question, your lucky they don't hit you with their Billie club. Davidson County Detention centers on Harding place, they are respectful, professional and they actually care how you come out of there ! My son will be released a better person next week, I can see the change in him. He is actually thankful for the effort this facility put forth to help him turn his life around. I am so grateful!
