Great place for a special celebration, we had an excellent first time trip. We were thoroughly impressed with the service, quality of food and selection of pools. Definitely worth the money and I can't wait to come back for another treat.

The best spa that I have come across. The floatation pool is unique and leaves me feeling rested. Outdoor hottubs are open even in the winter, I prefer them to the ones indoors. The "donegal dips" (my name for the plunge pools) are perversely addictive The salad buffet is a good choice in the restaurant. They used to do a salad with Barkham blue cheese and walnuts that I loved but sadly they discontinued it.
I lode it here but the buffet bar let's you don't not enough cold meat selection and no cheeses
What an absolute delight. Took my wife for a birthday treat and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Not only are the facilities great but the staff are outstanding. Always helpful and greeted with smiles, really made our time there pleasant. If I had to give one complaint it would be the food. It just wasn't that great, a bit bland but that didn't take away from our evening at all

But 1 star lost due to single use packaging beig used where easily avoidable, really dry wilted salad, but only for the leaves and "boring bits" the rest of the salad is amazing!! Utterly reccomend that! The new bit is great but if you don't want to hear people on phones, don't go upstairs.... Update: giving a full 5 stars now as they ramg me about my issues ajd have it all in hamd. I appreciate that lot! Thanknyou!

Looks amazing, loads of different areas to use, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, relaxation rooms, pools. There is also a gym. Also has an outside area but did not use it as we went in the winter. Quite big, did not feel crowded during the week. We went for relaxation evening package. Food was good, but mainly salads bar. Loads to choose from though, but quite simple. Three hot dished but again, quite simple. And deserts not included. The plus was that all soft drinks were included, including coffee and hot chocolate. Would definitely go back, but may go just for the Spa, not the food package. Spa gets 5*****
Oh my goodness what an AMAZING place! I was looking for a 'Spa Day' to share with a special friend and sure, there are places with a pool and a whirlpool and treatment room but then my niece said I HAD to go to the Nirvana Spa and I'm so glad I did! We started in the outdoor pool, very brave in January, but it was super heated and then we worked through the other pools, relaxation beds, the colosseum, pressure pool was fun, there were various amazing 'rest' places and the lunch was amazing. All the staff were very caring and helpful. Actually the others clients there were caring and helpful as it's a big place to find your way around but people soon pointed us in the right direction. Highly recommended for a special day out.

Great but expensive spa with loads of different facilities including a large flotation pool and good outdoor pool and jacuzzis as well that are very pleasant on a summer's day. Decent well priced food in the restaurant too.
Went with a friend for her birthday treat. Attended a skincare workshop, had a lovely light lunch followed by a snooze in the tepidarium. Then a swim, and dip in outdoor jacuzzi, followed by hydra pool then a cuppa. Off next to steam room and ice plunge pool. Felt magnificent after that, then on to our treat of the Rasul mud treatment followed by a lovely salad buffet dinner and cocktails, and a plate of surprise choccies. A truly relaxing and wonderful day.

Fabulous spa for unwinding and pampering. Can get crowded and booked up ahead. Food is really good ( salad bar amazing value option) and staff very friendly. Exercise classes (prebooked) excellent in small groups. Outdoor pool in summer truly is heavenly.

Although it was a few months ago now, I have just found our voucher. I had a lovely time at Nirvana Spa with my husband. It was a great experience and pamper day that everyone should try.
Purchased the day spa package. Everything great apart from not being able to use a float pool as being refurbished which is very disappointing as wasn t mentioned by anyone and had no info on the website that it s closed. Btw, you pay for that extra and separately when arriving to the spa. Also, food that was included in our package (lunch) was a cold salad bar and a choice of two buffet meals. You legit get one piece of tiniest fish, like size of the half of regular person s palm and two halves of roasted baby potato. That wasn t very filling. Great thing about day package is having soft drinks included so that was a plus. Some staff were more polite than others when serving those. Therapist however were absolutely brilliant and informative. We received great treatment but was cut slightly short. Remember to bring your own flip flops. One last thing, for some reason the dressing gown we got upon arrival were ridiculously short sleeved, I d say less than 3/4.

Great Place, and helpful team but don't favour the approach with cards...just doesn't make you feel like a welcome guest.
Recently rejoined as was originally a member nineties/noughties. I pay 115 pounds per month So what does this enable me to do, it gives me the flexibilty to go any day and any time between opening times. Great you say. In reality avoid the weekends it's so packed and noisy forget about having a seat in the restaurant. So I have to go on a waiting list to bring a guest go in a waiting list for a treatment and have a buzzer box when a table is free It's lovely that people can come for a relaxing spa day, it's obviously a good money maker for the spa as it is crammed full of day spa peoole so many at the weekend to the detriment of the members . My visit today was anything but relaxing, just thoughts to consider if you are making your mind up whether to take out a membership I would avoid weekends Thoughts from a frustrated member.

Everytime I go here, I'm amazed how much I love it. As soon as you walk in to the reception, the smell and sound immediately relax you. There are so many different types of pools and the food is one of the best parts of the trip - super healthy but so, so tasty! Absolutely worth going for a day or an evening, I can completely fill up 5 hours here and wish I'd been able to stay longer.
Amazing spa, I had a wonderful time. Totally relaxing. Try and make sure you get there early and stay as long as you can so you can try everything!

Beautiful day spa - excellent quality without the pretentiousness that you get in many other spas of a similar standard. Nirvana is unique and the perfect way to unwind. The recent upgrades keep it to a high standard with excellent steam rooms and saunas, range of beautiful pools and rooms including gardens. Enjoy!

It s a wonderful spa and perfect for a day trip or membership alike. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is plenty to do, no matter the weather (indoor and outdoor facilities both excellent). There are numerous rooms with a wide range of spa facilities, which means a whole day can easily be occupied. The food is good and refreshments are easy to access. I ve been a number of times and never failed to have a bad experience. Some spa experiences I ve been to have ended up being very basic and not particularly relaxing and Nirvana is definitely the best I ve ever experienced.

My guest and I had a lovely day here so relaxing and the staff are as lovely and friendly as always. Claudia and Charlotte were our therapists for our full body Swedish massage and were the nicest people. The massages were amazing and we were so relaxed after. Definitely would recommend them and book with them again.
Amazing experience at nirvana spa for a treatment day for two as a present for my mum for Christmas, as we entered we were greeted by a very friendly Francesca who kindly showed us around and re changed our robes and towels for us and was very polite and kind, was such a relaxing experience! We also had a treatment but we were in separate rooms and me and mum did not realise and requested to be together. We mentioned this to the very friendly lady Nicola in the Crystal treatment room and she went out of her way to manage to get us a room together which was very kind and we appricated. Had a lovely facial that both me and my mum loved by two lovely ladies which were also very professional and kind and informative Was an overall lovely experience and great service from staff . Especially those mentioned. Will definitely be returning :)
Nice spa but in my opinion is over rated.i have been to much better Spas. It is full of over weight old people so the atmosphere is a let down.

The spa area is huge with lots of rooms and didn't pools. The treatments are very expensive for what you actually get and the food was average at best. Overall I would recommend just going and making use of the facilities.
Been a member for decades, facilities great but marked down for 3 reasons; 1 - laned pool replaced with little pool with current generators. They're adequate for 1 style and pace swimming but useless if you want to do HIIT swimming or simply slow down/speed up without stopping and changing the generator speed. There are other pools but you end up crashing with people trying not to get their hair wet. 2 - membership / reception don't talk to each other. You can be told one thing by one which is not backed up by the other and with it comes a long and repeated patronising lecture about what you - the customer- should have done or not done, I've experienced and witnessed that so many times. They hate to be wrong. 3 - not sure if day trippers get a better deal but as a member I hardly ever get a treatment appointment unless I book up well in advance, I actually use a local beautician instead. Otherwise, facilities are extensive, lots of things to do, food not bad, outside is nice with a small outdoor pool, trepedarium is my fav in winter with circa 20-30 mosaic hot beds. Watch out for.... They building a hotel so that will increase usage, unsure what that will do to standards.
