NH NICE**** - NH Hotel Group Reviews

Our first time in Nice. We stayed here with our 3 year old son, and used the hotel as a base.
Great location for travelling around the south coastline - the Nice Riquier train station is about 5-10 minutes walk away and it is very easy to get to Cannes, Monaco, Antibes, etc from here.
Hotel is clean and friendly. We didn t eat at the hotel, and we didn t use room service - mainly because it seemed quite expensive. There is a bakery over the square where we got breakfast from, for three of us for under 10.
The only concern I had with this hotel was that there are no window locks. We were staying on the 3rd floor with a 3 year old. The windows opened fully at the pull of a handle; which was very worrying, considering that our son could very easily climb into the window. Most hotels at least have a lock, or a safety strip which stops the window from being opened fully. We had to settle with having to stack our cases in the window so that our son could not get to the window handle.

We had to twin beds pushed together. When was asked them to give us double bed they could not. The breakfast was poor. The room was ok but plug sockets were not secured to walls. Won't stay in another nh hotel.

Hotel very well placed for visiting Nice, Tram 100m, very pleasant and attentive staff.
Regarding the bedroom, quite spacious, good bedding, but a good renovation should be considered, especially on the bathroom

Couple stay of 4 nights.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious and the hotel centrally located. The bathroom was large and pleasant. The gym is clean and well equipped (if there are no more than 2 or 3 because of the small size). The sauna is also clean and a good size. The breakfast is very well stocked.
By cons for a 4 star we found some details a shame. A hole in the wall near the headboard, the bedroom door poorly insulated from noise and light. A defective flush even after intervention by personnel. Lots of TV channels with no signal and none on a rainy day.
Value for money which remains correct and a very warm welcome.

Normal entry, welcoming and helpful reception.
One flaw: as soon as we arrived not all the rooms were ready and the cleaning is not top of the range. For good rest.

Good 4 stars, no more ... A lot of noise in the hallways and outside. Food menu a bit light

but the building is ugly,wifi is so slow ,parking is expensive ,not safe and dirty,
food looks like a mc donald, what a joke for this price!

The standard of European hotels is not bad, the open market in the lobby is very handy, especially for Turks who like to eat at night, a great blessing in a European city

Nice clean hotel. 20 minute walk to old Nice or you can get the tram. Nice to have an outdoor pool and bar!

Renovated hotel with a pool. Domage that the gym is tiny.

The hotel is comfortable, the staff very courteous except at the roof terrace restaurant where they are quickly overwhelmed. The roof pool is quite big and very nice. The panoramic view is very beautiful. Some flaws? The light filters in the morning because the curtains are not big enough and the maids make noise. Newspapers, tea and Nespresso coffee in the very nice rooms.

I had the opportunity to stay at this establishment on the sidelines of a congress at the Acropolis. The establishment's strong point is its proximity to the Nice convention center.

The rooms are pleasant, spacious.
Large and comfortable bedding and well-appointed showers.

I was disappointed with the lack of VOD.

Another point that bothered me: the sound insulation was not at the rendezvous. Despite being high up (6th floor) this did not prevent me from hearing the rush of traffic or the lively discussions of the people present in the park in front of the hotel. In my opinion the windows need to be reviewed.
To this noise I will also add the noise of doors slamming because the customer is not aware that he is not alone and he forgets that the door is heavy :) ...

The breakfast is complete and you have everything: sweet, salty, hot, cold. Special mention for the children's corner with utensils and other hacks dedicated to them.

Regarding prices, I had a bad experience with the chain's reservation center and their own site. Indeed I was offered a price for a stay of 3 nights, almost similar to that of Booking. Knowing that Booking requires between 15 and 17% commission, I do not find the discount sufficiently commercial.
Also knowing that the reservation service was not "open" to offer anything else. By booking to my regret on Booking I was entitled to everything even their loyalty program.

The hotel is located 10 minutes by taxi from the station.
Once again, the location makes this an exceptional product.

Good quality outfit and reasonable prices for the hotel and it's level. Was going through a refit on my visit this weekend 29th November 19 but they are keeping it mostly on one floor 3 I think as the lift missed it completely.
The place good quality and a first class service from the staff, they made my stay a pleasure and couldn't do enough for us. I would stay there again, as long as someone showed how to turn the heating down.

Lots of fruit flies at the breakfast buffet under the jam pots, under the blanket, etc. With a few yellow stickers, the problem would be solved in one day.
Just a coffee machine. The second was constantly failing.
Our tour group was crammed together at two long tables for dinner. You couldn't move without bothering your neighbor.
The drinks had to be paid for during the meal.
A lady's t-shirt was stained while clearing the house. Apart from a fleeting "sorry" there was nothing.
So never the hotel again. And our entire group agreed.

Large bed, good temperature.
For parking it is the accropolis parking lot (18 for 4 pm).
Bathroom good, goodies ok.
Same downside for the courtesy snack in the room, weak choice of tea (ernegy, black tea, etc.) but no verbena, camomile, etc., obliged to go down to look for some, to finally go to the rooftop to look for rabbit bags.

The breakfast put us off on the ground floor noisy room, and without window.
0 extra tested, coming directly from the airport, we sleep well, that's exactly what was needed.

Efficiency and seriousness are the qualities of the staff ... Good catering, The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the means of transport very close to the hotel !!!

The hotel is a business hotel and accordingly modern. Far too dark for my taste, however, the room looked like a cave. However, it was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the room was very badly soundproofed, so that you could understand every word the neighbors said. The buffet was ok, but I would have liked at least a few alternatives to animal products due to allergies. I found it good that every guest got their own tongs to help themselves at the buffet.
Our room was on the sixth floor and the stability of the WiFi, especially on the smartphone, was a complete catastrophe, which is absolutely incomprehensible for a business hotel.
The hotel has rented an area in a nearby parking garage. There guests can rent a parking space for 20 / day. To get to the center, you can take the tram, which leaves almost directly in front of the door. The hotel is on a busy street so you can hardly leave the windows open. At least the room had air conditioning. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, the rooftop bar was closed, which is a shame.

Hotel well located, very complete buffet breakfast and very nice atmosphere! Very attentive staff and Spanish receptionists very friendly and correct. The room very well. I would definitely go back !!!!

Nice Hotel for a short trip, quiet noisy due to rebuild and you can hear your upper neighbour with every little move. Especially nice if its a family with 3 small boys :-( Location is not perfect but ok, close to tram. Pool ok, Fitness very small and basic, basic. Lightconcept in room is not good. Breakfast very expensive 19 Eur and not worth price...a lot of backeries around. Parking 20Eur per night, safe but you need to walk to parking house entrance and appearance not really four stars.

Large and comfortable room. Breakfast included and free wifi. Sore heating / air conditioning not particularly bright for being mid-December. The area offers various clubs around and 2 supermarkets within 5min. Too bad the distance from the waterfront. Equipped with mini gym with sauna and mini pool on the terrace.

Nice lady at the reception. Good average. Great view from the roof.

really mediocre stay, the receptionist spoke neither French nor Italian a roof in Nice!
moreover the restaurant is not open in the evening, only at midday and the menu is mainly hamburger and salad, while it is displayed "nh gastro"! why not a kebab while you are there !! the windows of the hotel are very dirty in addition, the area is really badly attended in the evening in particular, in short everything except a 4 *!
