NH Hotel Group Review

The little star that is missing is due to the smell given off by the drain in the terrace that has the room where I was lodged. Otherwise, views and interior cleanliness at the height of its category. For one day I just don't want to value other aspects.

Delightful hotel. Very centrally located: close to Plaza Catalunya and the Rambla. The breakfast is very good and top quality. The room is spacious, the bathroom and rain shower sublime.

An attention of 10. The modern and spacious room. Spectacular rooftop views. Now with the covid issue they have everything very well prepared.

From the moment we walked through the door, the staff were great, helpful and friendly. The room was fantastic - little touches like the Nespresso machines make a big difference. Very comfortable beds and a roof top bar with spectacular views.

One of the great hotels of the city, located in one of the main arteries of Barcelona.

Pleasant treatment, good service, semi-central about 30 or 40 'from the seafront. Swimming pool and gazebo with bar, it penalizes somewhat the parking, very narrow for large and long cars and expensive 29 euros a day.

Hello. The hotel has a good point if you want to be in the heart of Barcelona, ie close to las ramblas. Its location is perfect.

On the other hand, it would be better to make a reservation by phone (I had 5% less than the online rate because of a subscription to a loyalty system).
In addition, do not rely on the description of the room that will be indicated to you.
I had requested a double bed, not being able to sleep on the twin beds. I was assured after booking that it was booked and that I would have a view of the city.
Unfortunately, when I arrived, no double bed but rather twin beds and a view of nothing at all (a sort of tiny internal courtyard opening onto the terrace of another room).
I immediately went downstairs again to the reception to ask the question why this difference. I was out of the question for me to sleep on twin beds.
The receptionist remained very professional (not particularly nice or smiling, not rude) and told me that the description was a preference and not a prerequisite.
She started fiddling with her phone to "see what she could do" to finally find me a room without a view (with a view you have to pay a premium price, which I understand and that was not even my requirement. basic, but a simple description of the room booked) and a double bed 30 minutes later (hallelujah despite the wait !!!!).
My conclusion is not to trust your reservation as is but the good point is that they are quite responsive.

Comfortable beds, quiet rooms and top location in the center!

Hotel in excellent condition. I stayed there in August 2015 for four days. The large and clean standard room as well as the bathroom.
Staff available. Only one lady speaks Italian and is very kind.
Very close to the Rambla, Casa Pedreira and Battlo '.
One step away from the metro to move from the sea to the mountains.
Highly recommended.

Clean, modern and fantastic location., Would stay here again on return although I had a bad experience of being nearly have my luggage snatch in broad daylight around 8am. Got into a scuffle with the 3 men and manage to run away from them into some nearby cafe.

The. We have everything at hand. Ideal location, in the heart of Barcelona. Good combination of metro, bus. The parking lot. All kinds of restaurants, whether bar, delicatessen, home-cooked food or fastfood, at the foot of the hotel.
The friendly staff, the efficient and delicate grooms. Magnificent view on the roof. The lounge part is very refined and the decoration is original. Large room (we are n a twins).
However, I would classify this hotel as 4 stars superior and not 5.
Score of 4/5. Staying in Barcelona, having all the languages on the television channels, except TV3 is unfortunate.

Good hotel, completely refurbished. Nice sky bar and pool with view. Very central. Quite pricey though, relatively slow check in and cleaners who enter with do not disturb sign.

I went to eat at the hotel restaurant (Don Giovanni) and I recommend it since they have very delicious Italian food

Great location. Our room facing La Rambla had great views. Not too noisy, just a normal city noise. Room was clean. Liked the shower very much - would like to install the same in my own bathroom.

Superb hotel two minutes walk from the Plaza Catalunya. Ideally located. The staff is very caring and the welcome is perfect. Special mention to Vanessa (who speaks French) who took care of organizing the surprise of my wife for our 1 year of marriage. We were upgraded to a suite. We will definitely come back.

A good place to rest, although it is a little old, the rooms are comfortable and the pool bar that they have on the terrace has views that will envy many! Recommended for a few drinks on summer nights, up on the terrace!

Insects found 3 times in the bathroom .. the day before we left, they called to tell us that we had to leave the next day. They also send an email saying that we will have to leave (we know very well that we are leaving the next day ..... they seem to be anxious that we leave ...) Error
3 days before our departure they open the door while we are there to bring in new travelers .... poorly organized.

Excellent service, very clean rooms and all the staff a 10. We went here to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and I was right in choosing this hotel to celebrate. First we had a drink at the bar, eleven, very nice, with beautiful views of Barcelona. Before that, I decorated the room to my liking with the balloons I carried. I recommend it.

Excellent hotel in the central area. I stayed at this hotel on business and found myself very well. Friendly staff, very clean rooms, excellent breakfast, gym and pool. The standard rooms are large and well organized. The location is really strategic to experience the city and the very pleasant neighborhood.

We only stayed one night and for the little time we had I can say that the fantastic service treated us very well and we appreciate many details that we will never forget. Thanks Francesc you are great.

Brilliant service, excellent staff and a gorgeous rooftop terrace

We've never stayed at an NH Collection hotel before, but we've been nothing but impressed. The staff in Barcelona was so nice. We particularly had great customer service from Julia; she was warm and very helpful with our stay here. We were able to get assistance from the hotel staff for tourist activities, and we were actually able to book it with them; very handy. I definitely recommend this hotel, and it definitely helps that it's in a pretty spot in the city.

NH Calderon, Barcelona was an amazing host for our recruitment event. The quality of service from beginning till the end was impeccable. The event space was organized and ready in advance, not to mention it has a great modern design and it is spacious an bright. We did not face any issue with the equipment and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Anticipation was there at all times!

Well located, friendly staff, very good bedding, panoramic terrace very nice for a nap in the sun even in January. Pool open but not heated. Negative point, the price of breakfast at 28 pp.

Nice terrace on your roof where you can have a drink overlooking the rooftops and Barcelona Cathedral among others.
