Newnan Community Theatre Company Review

It's a nice small town atmosphere. The building feels like it has history as you wind your way through. The people that run it put a lot of heart and soul into it. Go check out a show.

Tastefully built into an old train depot, the Newnan Theatre Company offers a great place for community theatre. My whole family went on Saturday for the improve group called N.I.T.W.I.T.S. we howled with laughter and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The lobby is kitschy but tasteful, and very comfortable. Admission varies by show, day, and age, but is very affordable. They also sell popcorn for $1 and drinks and water for the same.

The auditorium is an industrial space; the seats are narrow and old. But somehow you get past that and just applaud the show.

My family and I had a total blast.

Attended a N.I.T.W.I.T.S show that was a good time and some good laughs.

My husband and I enjoy all of this shows performed at this venue. The cast members are so talented. The Christmas Story play was truly awesome! It was portrayed exactly like the original movie and it couldn't have been any better. What an awesome treat to enjoy this on my birthday. Looking forward to the plays in 2020!!!

Cute little local theatre tucked away near the downtown square. Their performance of Boeing Boeing was perfectly cast and delightful.

Seats were not very comfortable.. And the version of Macbeth was not what we were expecting. Prices were very reasonable.

Great local theatre for great entertainment! Thursdays are great nights to go as they are discount nights.

Teenagers were performing their final presentation of summer camp! The show was well presented with costumes, backgrounds, story line that they as a group wrote, made, and produced. The story was named 'Out of Space" with funny lines that kept the audience entertained! The children did a good job! The theatre itself is in an old warehouse. The inside area is presented like an old performing theater of olden times. A very unique place to come and enjoy! Never judge a building by it's outside! A real gem!

Newnan Theatre Company has been around over 40 years! Great, local venue with outstanding productions! The season ticket program is wonderful!

Newnan Theatre Company has a little something for everyone from adult improv classes to kids camps to costume rentals. One aspect that goes unnoticed- venue rental. Obviously the building isn't available all the time so call ahead of time and be flexible. But it is worth it. The Downtown Newnan Historic brick warehouse will instantly add charm and character to any business meeting, wedding reception, or family reunion.

Last night my honey and I went to see A Christmas Carol. Although the story is well known and you know the outcome .. the meaning still holds true. This was my first time to see an event at the NCT and based on last night will try to make it back again. Yes its small town but still makes you realize why we live here.
Perhaps it is time though to invest in a microphone/speaker system. .. somewhat hard to hear the dialogue especially from the "little ones" halfway up the seating ... Still though enjoyed !!!

I basically grew up on the main stage at Newnan Theatre. It is where I found my passion for the arts and for this I am forever grateful. Amazing staff that treats you like family. I have never seen a bad show done here. I would highly recommend for children with interest in the arts (The academy program is great ) or anyone who is looking for a place to be creative and be themselves.

I'm not really a theatre person but I attend an occasional play every so often. With what they have to work with here the performers usually do a great job but some of the shows are better than others so pick wisely and get word of mouth activity on past performances of a particular show before heading out.

One of the best small town theaters. I can see 5 shows for the price of 1st the Fox. It may not be as elaborate, but it's always a good show.

Wow, wonderful place to see a play, actors are volunteers too. Newnan Theatre is local and Newman's own. Great atmosphere and staff, help support the theatre so they can buy the building and make it their own permanent home.

Very nice local Little Theater. Same Broadway shows, but without the New York City prices.

Great community theater experience every time I attend a performance!

What a wonderful, quaint little theater in town! My husband and I were there for The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen s Guild Dramatic Society Production of Macbeth, and we enjoyed the show tremendously. The crew did an outstanding performance, and Mr. Peach absolutely kicked it up a notch. Grip-ping!

My wife and I visited the theater last night. We watched The 39 Steps. It was our first visit to the theater. The show was great. We ended up purchasing season tickets.

I was blown away with the talent in this home town theatre! You can save yourself time and money going downtown by attending a performance right here in Newnan.
