A Precious Child Review

The Staff are so very nice and Its a cool place wish I had more time and they had more out but I am thankful for what they did have. Really proud how the ladys handle this rude women today but wish they would have kicked her out and told her to come back when she can show some respect to others around her. I Thought we was all suppose to know that by first grade. I WANT TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE COMMENTS MADE BY THE WOMEN. SHE IS JUST AS IGNORANT AS TRUMP. AND I HOPE SHE IS ASHAMED OF HERSELF MAY GOD BLESS YOU GUYS AND I PRAY THAT YOUR STILL HELPING PEOPLE MANY YEARS TO COME. THANK YOU

A phenomenal group of people that genuinely care about helping others make up the staff of A Precious Child. This organization is a great resource for families with children. They are supportive in so many ways and are a blessing to many.

This is the absolute BEST resource to find clothing, toys, and household supplies!

They made my appt on a day they were moving. I called a lady for weeks, who returned my call after I called the 11th time. She promised to get some things together and call me back. That was a month ago. I had my son last Tuesday. Everyone else I know who needs help has been here and recieved their services. But I'm the only black person I know whos tried to come here. So it makes me wonder. Its not like they have a shortage of things. Infact when I donated my daughters clothes they told me they might end up here. I gave it one star because I couldn't give it 0. That's a messed up way to do things and if every child isn't precious to them I don't think they should be recieving funding and donations.

I love the concept of A Precious Child. They receive donations. The donations get sorted as to what is good and not. Then the the good donations are added to a clothing store atmosphere, sorted by size. The store is used for families that need help at no cost. So the families get to get a certain amount of clothes that they pick out. I believe it is social workers that pick what families get to go there. Me and my granddaughter volunteered there one day. This is a fantastic idea. I recommend donating your time or unwanted materials.

Wonderful place that helps families with clothing for children..Also gives gifts for children at Christmas...Donate they have many children to help, you can volunteer to help too...

This Place is amazing, such a great staff as well. When I was volunteering here once I got finished putting a dollhouse in the showroom and almost immediately a little girl put in her mothers cart. The look on her face was priceless as she was checking out.

Great organisation that makes a difference in children's lives. If you have free time, this is a great place to donate your time. It warms me my heart for the dedication the staff has.

It s a wonderful place but it s hard to get an appointment there they never answer and you leave a message and they never call back

This is a great organization that does a lot of good things for the children in this community.

I love love love this place. I got almost everything my kids need for winter, they gave my son a birthday present, you can get almost anything you need for your home, self and kids here. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the staff were rude and short with people.

Ride,judgey& hardly helpful. I don t recommend anyone go here for any reason.regardless of it being free or being in need.

The people here are so nice. I volunteer here and I really appreciate all the work they put in to making sure all the items in their store are quality. They make it very easy to volunteer with the most impact. I have to give five stars to a place so dedicated and passionate about helping people.

A little stressfull with time constraints and kids.
I like to try on the clothes, dont you?
Whats the point of taking clothes that dont fit proper? How many people have taken clothing pieces that dont fit due to time constraint?
Hour and a half plus a strict shopping list to follow..not a free for all! Oh yeah and other families pushing/bumping carts in isles attemping to speed shop as well.

After my two children shopped and tried on thier pieces over thier clothes (no dressing rooms). I had little time to shop for myself and I did not find much up to date clothing in my size that was appropriate for daily wear or working.
Many old peoples clothes~ left overs like from a vulture picked estate sale.
People need to donate better quality clothes and goods because A Childs Smile is doing a decent job with what they have. They can/may be falling short with the time constraint causing people to take items that get thrown/given away instead of impacting the family directly.

Non-profit company. Very beneficial for low-income families

They always have nice trendy clothes, and toys. And if you can't find your size on the rack, they will check their storage, to see if they have the right size there.

This place is amazing you can get everything for kids, yourself, kitchen, bedding, clothes, school supplies, everything is washed and looks great. Staff are very rude tho and just give dirty looks and short with people

We have been receiving services from A precious child for almost 2 years. They staff is very helpful both in person and over the phone. The shopping area is very well managed , on top of that everything is Free and they are a fair organization, in fact one of very few that Blu has encoutered in terms of Them utiluzing the donations for what the donations are there for, and they run this establishment better then any store Blu has had to spend money in. The quality of the items everytime Blu has shopped, has been Great. We truly appreciate All that this organization has and/or will continue to provide to , for, and on behalf of Our family.

Their cause is so amazing, and they are handling the pandemic in a great way, keeping everyone safe, but also still serving their community.

This place can be helpful for families in need. The boys selection always has torn pants. The workers are very rude and lie about up coming give a ways.

This organization is amazing!!! The people are so great and friendly!!! Donations are excepted M-F 9-5 in the back and go DIRECTLY to help people.

Jessica would rather a sick mother show up to accompany her daughter than allow someone to else to help. But makes exceptions for others. Poor service.

Such an amazing program! The employees are AMAZING! They are always so eager to help and make you feel so welcome. My daughter has been able to get lots of adorable clothes and toys for my grandson. I love the new location! So spacious, clean, and organized. I just wish more people donated and there was more baby/child equipment available.

They have such a good selection! From clothes to household to strollers to furniture... Really busy though sometimes you have to be patient with the line. But very well worth it! All the employees are so compassionate and helpful

Defiantly recommend anyone looking to donate items or your time this is an amazing place. We did a team building activity with our department and decided to volunteer for 4 hours. The staff was so thorough in their explanations, great tour, great set up to make it easy to jump right in and make a difference. Felt like a very productive day. Learned a ton of information about the organization. Enjoyed another group that was there volunteering . Had a great time and enjoyed contributing.

Yulonda was such a great help. I have been able to shop with my daughter in a long time. Thank you for being so kind to us.

My wife and I drove an hour out of the way. To get told cause we didn't live in Denver Metro area. That they couldn't help us.

I have made many donations to this group and told people how great they are, then when I needed something they couldn't deliver. Way to lose support.

St. Vincent de Paul, which is the Nationwide ministry associated with this charity, is one of a very few establishments that will actually help people around here. As a family of five with a twenty day old baby, we have received NO help from EFFA, the Ours Center, or all local salvation armies. However this church, Harvest of Hope, and Sister Carmen's Community Center has actually fed and clothed us.

Amazing Work, An Amazing Environment.
Nikki in the Donations Center is SO welcoming, kind and friendly and smart and organised and so empathetic with volunteers, employees and families alike. A Precious Child treats you as VALUABLE.... which is lovely when you're having a bit of a rough time.
I am thrilled to drive 90mins one way because Donations go STRAIGHT to children and their families.
God Bless them all.

What a fantastic organization. They do so much to help local families. The Toy drive during the holidays is to collect 11,000 toys to give to local children and families in need. They also have a backpack and school supplies drive in the summer to help struggling families.

Myself and the company I work for are proud supporters of APC. This organization does so of the most amazing work in the state of CO. We wish them only the best and are excited to see them grow and reach more and more children in need!

They are respectful and more then amazing at what they do!! Thank you for all that you do for my babies and myself. I got really emotional while getting the backpacks that were given to my older kids. Thank you Precious Child
