This place is a good spot to rent a car or truck especially if you are arriving straight from LaGuardia Airport !! The customer service is outstanding. The rates are fair

It takes 30mins to get a vehicle after giving them the reservation, then instead of doing the vehicle check before you get the vehicle, they take pictures instead of recording it and that takes another 20 mins, so the entire process takes almost a hr... has to be a better way, oh yea there is CC Rentals is in LIC now

Edge has been a great partner to Discover Outdoors. While there was an adjustment period when we first started working exclusively with Edge, they have made every effort to make the transition as smooth as possible for us. The Edge team that I have worked with is very responsive and accommodating. Our guides comment on great service when they pick up the vans. And the vans are new and in good shape. I am glad we chose to go with Edge.

I used Edge Auto for a film shoot and they not only gave us top quality in perfect condition vans, but were so easy to work with! The return was as easy as the rental. I'm NEVER renting from anywhere else again. These guys are amazing!

I have just recently found Edge through a friend of mine. I rented a minivan for a family vacation. I just have to say that customer service was really nice and friendly. i asked them so many questions but they were helpful. the vehicle was in great condition. the whole thing went off without a hitch. will definitely use you guys again in the future.

I've rented 3 times this season to take my family skiing. Each time, Edge Auto Rental made it easy, provided me with a very clean vehicle, full tank of gas and zero hassle upon return.

I initially had problems with this company and after putting a review negatively on them their customer service reached out to me and very kindly gave me restitution for my list issue. Though it's not perfect I do appreciate that they tried to fix my problem

Best truck rental for anyone with Corporate Insurance.

Hate to give bad reviews but unfortunately we got the worst unexpected experience yesterday.
I own a tour company in NYC and we take trips upstate every weekend and we decided to try Edge for the first time.
We got charged twice the price we agreed on with hidden fees. Over $500 for a day, this is insane. Which is basically 2 days rentals on any other company in the city.

I had a very poor experience with Edge. I was charged $172 for a gas charge, which is insane, and we even tried to fill the tank before arrival but couldn t figure out how to get it filled. The gas tank was rejecting any gas we tried to put in, even the attendant couldn t figure it out. I think Edge could ve done better explaining how the vehicle works, and also I think 172 is ridiculous for a gas charge considering it only costs 50 at most to fill the whole tank. Never using this company again. 500 to rent a vehicle with all the hidden charges.

I'm a TEAMSTER. They never let me park my car when I use there trucks. They say park in the street, but past 5am there is no parking available in the street. If I have to start work at 10am, I have to get there at 4:30am to get a parking spot and wait 5 hours and 30min to start work. And sometimes I work past 12am. Alternate side parking says no parking from 12am to 3am. Should I just pay a ticket everyday?? They have no subway station nearby. Should I just pay $70 a day for a taxi?? And if you park your truck loaded over night make sure it's locked because they will STEAL whatever they can. This place is a nightmare. The union should stop using edge trucks, and start only using haddad's, walton's, and budd trucks

Plenty of inventory and accessible by g train. It's in the middle of nowhere.

Gratitude does not even begin to express my love for Edge Auto. From the people on the phone to the drivers, each individual works tirelessly to provide my company with quality service. I recently saw some one star reviews on here and I'm baffled as to who would give them such a poor review. Every interaction we've had with Edge Auto has been nothing but the best.

I've been using Edge for years and there's no comparison. The service is always professional and friendly. The vehicles are always clean and in perfect condition. Being a 24-hour operation also makes life easy, you can pick up and drop off vehicles round the clock!

Edge Auto Rentals has been serving our business well. Our company typically does indie movie shoots in the early morning. Never once have we had to worry about your employees being sluggish or tired. Edge Auto Rental enlists quality staff and is a wonderful business as a whole.

As a Still Photographer renting equipment and trucks or vans to transport it, I have come to use most rental agencys in NY. Edge auto clearly crushes the competition. They always have the vehicle I request ready, clean and ready to go, unlike some of the larger companies where I reserve a vehicle then get there and its not available leaving me forced to accept whatever they have. Since I'm constantly renting equip and vehicles I need someone who values my time, so I can get on location and start earning $, Edge gets it, plain and simple. I'm in and out quickly with the right vehicle all the time. Can't say enough on their professionalism and understanding my business needs.

I've been working in production for years and using Edge for all my rental needs. From photo to commercial or even feature films Edge has always supported me with what I need. Their customer service is amazing. Starting with the people at the kiosk for my crew to receive the trucks and all the way up to the corporate level who answer and return all my emails and phone calls. EDGE is the only place to rent from!!

Arrogant manager. Sales rep should take his position as he was a lot nicer. Its fine I will rent the truck somewhere else.

Easy Hassel free rental. More expensive than uhaul but you'll immediately see why.

Worst experience ever! Was fraudulently charged for alleged damage over 2 1/2 weeks after truck was dropped off!! The vehicle was checked at drop off and no damage noted. Never heard anything about it until after the card was charged. BEWARE!! Deceptive and fraudulent practices!! Would give negative stars if it was possible.
Don't know how to reply to the reply...BUT WHAT IMAGINARY CALL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! STEALING, COMMITING FRAUD, & VIOLATING NYS LAW should be accompanied with a real resolution! Not sorry we will do better next time! I know what route we will be pursuing...

Rented several vans for several months for a company project. Returned a van and asked the front counter gentleman who s name was Darrien to call a cab for me, his direct response was we don t do that... Don t you have Uber? This after my company spent thousands of dollars renting with Edge Rental. I asked him what kind of customer service is this!?!? He still did not offer to call a cab for me and said that he just won t do it. Unbelievable. Poorly trained staff. We will not be using Edge Rental ever again. You just lost a valuable customer.

Make sure someone checks vehicle for previous damages before you leave the lot.

I used Edge for years without a problem until recently, when I forgot my wallet in the rental car and someone at Edge stole the $180 in cash I had in it. Emailed Edge's management and they apologized, refunded half my rental.

Easy in and out which is what is needed for quick jobs. 5 stars!

Unfair rentals over charge you, n some time cars be messed up, then you wind up paying for it couse you get blaimed.

I am a frequent rental customer at Edge auto. Coming into town almost weekly for a few days, I need a quick, smooth and reliable experience in grabbing a car, all shiny and ready to go----often at a moments notice.

This is the film industry standard go to for truck and van rentals. Rarely have issues, once one leaked rain on the driver, but I have driven so many of these over the years I am pretty pleased overall.

I have been using Edge for years. The best diverse fleet of vehicles, great customer service, and they have also been helping during covid-19 with PPE deliveries and food drives with Feed The Freelancers.

I recommend this car rental. They are professional and the cars are in great condition. I will definitely rent again from this place.

Smooth rental: fast and easy pick up and drop off. It s a bit more expensive than U-Haul if you are moving from and to a small distance but I wasn t charged extra fees, the 103$ (incl. tax) for a standard cargo van are for 24h and 100miles which gives a lot of freedom and the employees were super nice. The van was used and not in the best condition but everything was functional (easy to drive, AC worked!!, didn t consume a lot of gas) which is all you need when you move.

If you need to rent a vehicle for production or personal use, EDGE is where it's at!! I've been renting from Edge for the last 10 years or so, and they have never once disappointed. Every interaction is a pleasure, and most of all, they act like PEOPLE, not a corporation. This is the difference in working with a local business vs. a national chain. They listen, understand, and will help you find solutions no matter the challenge. Keep up the great work, guys!!

A completely disorganized joke of a company. If you need any form of service or support from them, don't expect it. They're good at exchanging money for keys, but that's about it. When it comes to any issues, they blame each other, push you around, accuse you of being the problem, tell you to come back at times they are closed, and treat you like dirt. Everyone promises to follow up on your issues, but never does. One manager flat out told me "yea I didn't look into your issue" when I called back three days later. When I followed up three more days later he had completely forgotten who I was and what my issue was.

Heck, one time I was told to come back there the next day and in that 24 hour window they literally moved! Like the business didn't even operate out of the same location anymore and I show up to an empty office.

If you're looking to rent a car here, that's all you'll get...a car. If you have any issues with it, or with the company you're screwed. They claim to have new management and new employees and that their issues all in the past, but it's the new management causing these issues too. They don't follow up, push you around, and will provide no resolution at all. This company does not care at all about providing any form of service, period.

On Saturday Dec. 5th, 2018 the truck I rented battery died I couldn't get any help from you guys.
You told me you don't have any maintnance services on the weekend so I had to pay $75 just to get a boost from pop-a-lock cause you guys coudn't help at all on that cool & rainy day Thanx Edge

Our church has rented vans from Edge annually for several years in a row and have never been disappointed. They provide well-maintained, newer model vehicles at a competitive rate. I have never found a better deal in NYC. They are easy to work with. Picking up the vehicle and returning it is a fast and easy process. I highly recommend Edge Auto for your van rental needs.

Someone driving a van from this business ran a stop sign at 6:30 this morning on Morgan Ave in Greenpoint and nearly caused an accident.

The driver of 13616 MK is currently driving through bike lanes and continuing straight through turn only lanes to cut off cars (4/15/19 4:15PM)

Professional, reliable, punctual, it's always a pleasure doing business with Edge. I hate posting negative reviews but just had the worst experience here. Booked a car last week to take a Sunday group trip out of town. Card charged. All good. Got to pick up rental on Sunday morn and told policy changed only accept New York licenses and that's it. Super unhelpful and unapologetic customer service.

I he'd very bad experience with them I left a phone in the van they can't find it . They charge me $350 because I didn't bring back the van clean

Very crappy website, went on to make a reservation no matter what vehicle category I chose it kept showing me some small chevy sedan, none sense. We're in the 21st century get it together thank you.

I don t think I ve ever had such a bad experience with a car rental company. Disgustingly deceptive- What looks like a good deal at the start is not what you pay after you return the car. They re scammers so stay away.

Edge has a great staff and are always willing to help! Their vehicles are also always up to par, clean, and in tip top shape. Definitely the go-to for Production.

I just worked on a job where I drove an Edge fifteen passenger van, and I have to say, I had a great experience driving the vehicle. All of our vans and trucks were very new, and Edge's check out process was very helpful. In all of my experiences with Edge Auto, their employees have always been very courteous and easy to deal with. The pick up and return process is always quick and simple!
