Easy peasy go Newark liberty international airport great job

Catastrophic!!! After landing in the queue of immigration 2: 15h waiting. Only 5 out of a total of 30 counters were occupied. No seating and all toilets were locked!
I have been to so many airports in the world, but this is really unbelievably bad for an airport in such a city.

It is awesome. Huge, agile with all services, 100% technological. Beautiful.

Worst airport ever for flying into from international. Confusing signs crowded trains and unhelpful staff. Avoid at all costs

I've been traveling for the last month all over Europe and have not experienced an airport as rundown, dissorganized and unprofessional as this one. The signage is extremely lacking and unclear, the messages over the PA are literally conflicting relating which flights are boarding when. Ridiculous and embarressing.

Recently had a layover here and really enjoyed that I could sit in the waiting area for my plane and order food on a tablet and have my food and beer delivered without ever having to leave my gate.

Old airport is getting old. Security control is unprofessional. Signage of a moved airline has not been done properly.

Use this airport out of necessity only, and never expect to get to where you're headed on time. Flights from any airport to this one are always fine, but leaving is next to impossible. For a major airport, you'd think they'd have figured out how to properly organize and manage the amount of travelers and flights that come through here but clearly they have not.

For those who will stay many hours in connection, it is best to go to Manhattan for a walk. Otherwise, it will be idle. The airport does not offer much.

Staff very helpful especially the lady working for Travellen Aid her name is Angela.

I haven t been here for quite a few years, but it remains the same. It was clean and not crowded (because of the virus).But were do I go once I get dropped off? The signs are infrequent and confusing. There are more advertising signs than signs to show you where to check your bag, the TSA and the gates. Come on, this is an international airport make your signs at every entrance and at the bottom of the escalator!

They are making big strides at this airport and I really appreciate the technology and many shops and food there are to not become underwhelmed as this is becoming a much bigger connecting airport. Shout out to the improvements and tablets as well. Fly safely y'all

Huge airport , nice and clean all over . One of busiest airport I have seen in my life. One thing I noticed here , the shopping is online here means every buissness has iPad installed on every counter or every table . You can play games on these iPads or use it for social media etc etc.

Have had great experiences flying in and out of EWR.

My carry on suitcase had to be placed in the cargo as the United plane I took from this Airport to Binghamton, NY on 3/19/15 was small. I'm totally disgusted, an airport employee stole all of the items that were zipped on the outside of my suitcase. We stopped in Amsterdam and I picked up 8 small gifts for people I had forgotten to get something for. They were all individually wrapped in blue and white paper jewelry bags. I fortunately took the time to buy a lock to secure the contents of the suitcase in Aberdeen, but in my haste I quickly placed these items in the outside zippered part while in Amsterdam. This sickens me that these type of people are allowed to work around others personal belongings. We had to go through numerous security checks. Aren't the airports accountable for doing security checks on their employees? Besides that, the airport was dirty, food was pricey and quality below standard, plus Gate 115 was a hole that I would not want to be sitting in by myself. Shame on Newark! Where's your security camera's????

Terrible worst airport I have traveled to this year

Everything was smooth. From Amtrak Airtrain,United Airlines was on point & the TSA was Very Good

The airport Clear check is great, they get you in and checked through fast. Also my sister left her pouch with all her ID and other items while traveling today. I went back to retrieve it for her, and thank goodness the TSA department found it and gave it to me. Shout out to Newark TSA professionals!! Thanks

Needs a major renovation. Very inconvenient to move around as most times it is required to leave and re-enter secure area.

Newark is a very mediocre airport. I was lucky enough to fly United, I heard their terminal is above average at this airport, but the experience was far from good. The TSA line was extremely long, the restrooms weren't very clean, the airport just didn't feel properly organized.

After landing, everything went quickly and smoothly, no problems, all a plus.

Decent airport..could have better signage for new Passengers

TERRIBLE BAGGAGE SERVICE !!! This airport has the be the poorest in priority. After catching a flight with United I waited at baggage claim for over 30 minutes to receive my luggage. This is unheard of . When asked how much longer it was going to be when speaking to United s baggage service , they stated they had no clue.

The drop off for bags and checking in was pretty hassling, but we got through. Immigration was fine, just lines again. The seating areas for United flight are pretty clean and set up very wonderfully with tablets to entertain while you wait. You can order food, but I was advise you go explore and get your food. The server didn't know what I ordered and she didn't come with all my food, so I had to go to the restaurant to get the rest of my order. They were very cool about it, so that redeemed the experience. You can also play games, connect and charge your device while you wait. The bathroom was clean enough. I'd definitely travel through there again.

Awful.... Newark paired with United has been the absolute worst air travel experience I've had. To and from Euorpe... delays, terrible customer service and general disregard for one's time. I will never fly United again...

I was flying out of Newark to go back home, I have never been in this airport before. I get to Newark 2 hours ahead of time. I asked a couple workers if I was at the right terminal, which I was told I was. That I had to wait until someone comes out to help me. I waited an hour and a half just to be told that I wasn't at the right terminal. When I tried to ask for help the United workers from Terminal A were rude. They were so quick to walk away and not answer my questions. I was late for my flight and had to wait at the airport an additional 5 hours than planned. To only go to another airport to wait an extra 3 hours. I will never fly through Newark ever again. You should probably tell your workers to also show up to the front at the time they were suppose to not a half hour late. Need to work on your friendliness. Other than that the food wasn't bad.

This airport is a mess.... there's only ONE women's bathroom in terminal B. Ridiculous....

If you are traveling from Canada you will have to leave terminal then go thru security on busy days this can take awhile. People flow issus thru security is probably the worst of any airport I have flown thru. If you plan on buying anything at duty free store make sure it meets maximum ounce policy for carry-on s or items you purchase will be thrown away.

Flights are always delayed here. I flight 2-3 times a yrs and it s getting worst as time goes on

Terminal C is okay, but terminal A is tiny and overcrowded with no restaurant options other than quick grab stuff. Overall it's much dirtier and outdated than others I've been in. Our flight was listed as "on schedule" even after we were supposed to depart, meanwhile we all sat at the gate waiting.

I'm a worldwide traveler. I believe Newark is one of the worst airports with signs.

Last year I took a flight from Newark to Copenhagen. Mind you it was mid June so I understood why it was crowded, but having to wait 90 MINUTES IN THE SECURITY LINE IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!! IN ALL THE AIRPORTS I HAVE BEEN AROUND THE WORLD, NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I EVER BEEN TO AN AIRPORT WHERE IT TOOK 90 MINUTES FOR THE SECURITY PROCESS TO BE COMPLETED. And what really topped it all off was that I HAD TO REMOVE MY SNACKS FROM MY BAG! That makes no sense. I m just glad it never happened again after that.

Nice comfortable airport with a lot of seating and charging station

It is ok. It is far from NYC, so when i need to catch a flight from here, or to pick someone it can be annoying, but i cant complain about the airport itself. It may be relatively small, but it is always clean. What do annoy me: The prices are way above the market. I am talking about coffee, juice or even a gum. I know that they have no competition, but this is not fair. And this is funny since you cannot bring water or juice with you. So to over price thing just because the people have no other choice is low. Very low!

This airport is convenient from New Jersey as well as New York. On area train service made the airport more beautiful.

Very friendly staff. I liked the ease of the tram system for the rental car area.

Travelling from Ft Meyers, Florida to Ireland..internationally and stressed about connection at Newark.
Very busy airport. All Flts late. Customer service help desk busy talking with friends.. annoyed by my interruption. Only told me what they couldn't do, not what they could do to help me. Promptly dismissed me and my tears after that. I will avoid booking through there in future.

This airport should have more seats for passengers, not everyone like to sit or can sit on the floor.

Don't come for the stores because you won't find them. Restaurant dated but good. Method of working is somewhat old-fashioned, really need to modernize. Seems like an internal (within continent) airport for 1 airline.

Customs has one person on a Saturday afternoon at 3 the day before Easter. The is two times I landed on a Friday afternoon at 3pm there were two officers. It's is horrible even for the worst airport in the US.

Updated, wish I could give zero stars. Just landed on United after a 6 hour flight and an sitting in the taxiway for 45 minutes waiting for a gate. Did they now know we were coming in? I stick to the fact that this is the worst airport in the world.

This is one of the better airports to fly out of, to go to Europe because of the cheaper airline fares.

Every time I've been through this airport the security lines have been ludicrously slow. Even in the middle of the week 1-2 hour wait times because they only had 2 out 8 security lanes open. I will do all I can to avoid this airport in the future.

Some of the security staff here lack basic human decency. Sure, it's not customer service, but professionalism and respectfulness should be expected. Just awful people.

I use to love this airport until United outsourced their food services in the terminal.

Very friendly night crew. I flew in around 2 am in there morning. There wad limited night crew staff. All staff were Very informative and assisted me on how to locate AirTran to shuttle for hotels. Like any other major airport once you get around you can figure out the rest. The best way to get to this airport is transit. If your traveling from any borough of NYC or Long Island you can connect it Newark airport. If you choose to drive in they do have parking lots within and off site for daily or long time parking. If you are in a rush to catch a plane. I recommend transit do to traffic and parking.

3am place is a little calm than most airports. Really clean and from the time I was there not a lot of traffic, which was 3am.

There are ALWAYS delays flying into and out of this airport. Takes forever to get through security in terminal A... worst airport I ve experienced.

Easy to get around and easy curbside pick up. Better than LaG.

My first experience here was okay since I was lucky to run into a lady who drives a shuttle asking me which terminal I'm heading to. She drove me to the bus gate where I took the bus to the terminal shown on my ticket. I thought that all the terminals are connected, but actually they're 3 terminals A, B, and C separated into 3 different buildings. So passengers cannot move through different terminals by walking. Knowing this will save you time of moving to your terminal. I don't know why they separate the terminal although this is not a huge airport. I know some other bigger airport don't do like this.

I don't know of another major airport that just lets people park their cars at the curb for arrivals instead of having security or police clear them out and make them circle back. Just in case you do get asked to circle around, good luck with the road signs. Also, the worst airline (United) in the world owns this airport thanks to some well placed bribes. Have fun in prison David Samson! (Probably will only serve a couple of weeks)

It's an airport. It serves it's purpose. Better facilities and access than the other NYC airports.

Terrible everything! The train that takes you to the crowded terminals, I had to miss two because there was no place! United super disorganized! Control, better to go with time nobody knows what to do, inside the staff that dispatches food does not care much and reluctantly! I had to cancel the order .. waiting for more than 10 minutes one hamburger ALL VERY BAD EDUCATED

This airport is not for families or anyone with a schedule. All things are geared to business types. Restaurants are an attempt to model upscale eateries without the service or taste. The gate seats have been replaced for tables full of tablets to try and sell you games or other junk. It's a horrible place for a connecting flight.
