New York Hotel,Johor Bahru Review

Small room with huge pillar in the middle, old decorations, TV of another age (anyway irrelevant given the quality of channels). Clean in the dubious set, including bath tub uncleaned. Dirty bedroom wall. Dirty pool and cold water.

A three-star hotel, there are all the facilities of this hotel.

Opaque (Guest) lifts is too slow. But the glass lift (Car park lift) is fast enough. However, when moving one floor, it moves very slowly. It serves certain guest floors such as 20 to 22. Please try to upgrade the lifts. Got bathtub.

Been here many time. Social meeting, seminars, night club at b1. Located on a vrry nice n busy street with lots of eateries n car wash. Safe area too.

This hotel is value for money for me, l like the bath tub in this hote. Not the best but value for money again. Bf moderate. This is a old hotel but reasonably maintained. The lif is bit slow though but there with little wait.

The hotel needs to add a lot to the Fresh And the elevator needs to be upgraded immediately. Humidly very lift to room And parking.

beside New York Hotel have best street food. it's name Lok Lok. Try it.

Its a recommended hotel and the buffet breakfast is great as in fresh and daily schedules menu changing

The service at the front office reception could be better. I guess they never encountered Malaysian checking in with passport before.

good place to stay in the big town johor , promotion 1 day rm148 not included breakfirst . Easy to go any where central of the jb city

The buffet was very delicious and I think it is a favorite taste among Japanese. In addition, the environment of Wi-Fi was saved very well

The staff are very helping and friendly, nice food, nice place..definitely will stay here again

Gym open at 10am!!??? Normally gym start at 6/7am. Should improve!

It does n t look like a 4-star hotel, it s very old, and the door has to be opened and closed very hard. I booked a double bed on the Internet.

This is another half century old hotel. Plenty of shopping...local food store..entertainment n a Spa in the hotel. Value for money.

Simple and sweet. Away from CIQ crowd but closer to all amenities.

Place is quite nice i must say. Staff are so considerate and really helpful in any problems you have. They have a tub though!! Remember to buy your bath bomb!! ;)) or just dump in all your soap in and make bubbles!! I hope you have a great experience!!

Makanan sedap. They serve signature Johorean food pisang goreng sambal kicap during lunch. Staffs are friendly and nice, room service is good. It is just lift facilities..quite slow especially during foreigners trip coming or people attending courses.. Location very strategic!

Its near Johor Bahru city centre. Lots of parking. Lots of nearby restaurants and coffee shops and car wash. 15metre from my residence.

Strategically located in the heart of jb. Rooms are neat & staff are helpful.
They also have interesting packages

The shape of the building, makes the sound travel, so the constant noise of the lifts and young people larking around at night makes it impossible to get any rest.
Staff unhelpful. Wake up call at 5am when we didn't ask for one.
Avoid.

What i could say is everything is good except the old beddings and towel and toilet need to upgrade the cleanliness.but besides other things is tolerable, I still enjoy my vacation breakfast us good a lot of choices..

The rooms are luxurious, nice and cheap but unfortunately this is horror, I am a mystical experience there

After we had a day in singapore, we spent a night to this hotel tp continued our travelling to malaysia. It is not really pricey when you travel with a big group. It has a big river view from above 20th floor. I dont recommend you if you want a modern room facilities bcs my room facilities are quite conventional than currently modern hotel has. I dont know whether it has a superior room.

Entering their room i smell intense cigarette smoke and make me uncomfortable. Their breakfast is moderately delicious with less variety of food

Food is ok, room was quite dusty, and no floor towel. I noticed they didn't change the bedsheet which for me is terrible. No iron provided inside the room, no extra pillow. In my opinion a good housekeeping is important for a hotel!
