Huge place kept up nicely , staff had no idea about anything from the food court to the coat check ...im not sure if they are hired by the convention or the building

Nive center to hold events. Staff was polite and pleasant. Enough run for parking but if there's anything happening the parking can get hectic and costly.

Great place but long walk if you have meetings from one end to the other.

Our convention center is the real definition of a convention center. Simple.

Clean and well accommodated convention center. There is a small food court with the ever popular Starbucks shop in the middle.

Immense. Very well equipped (except places to eat, few and very short views). Good access

It was an easy access port to dock in NOLA for the American Cruise Line. Very clean and attractive.

The staff of the convention center has been super. Always a polite tone and helpful beyond expectations.

Poorly laid out. Horrible concessions, and not much around outside.

This place was huge! Excellent venue for the Essence festival.

I only saw the exterior, twice. I never actually went inside there.

The place is big. Really big. It was very clean and well maintained. We were there for a Mardi Gras party and thought that they ran it's really well. I do think they could have had more garbage cans out and the sound system was good, but not great

Huge space. Great for events conferences and concerts. Worked here a few times. Its always a pleasure going here. Been for essence and during a conference as a visitor. Had a great experience.

Great chicken salad sandwich and friendly waitstaff. Rachel was our waitress. She made our lunchtime an occasion. We sat outside and watched the world go by...relaxing.

This place is enormous and it has everything you need so you don't have to leave once you get there. There probably could be more hotels closer to it, but it's kind of close to other attractions, such as the casino.

A very large Convention Center this is where the Essence Festival was hosted

It's a very large place. A little difficult to navigate around. The conference rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful in each room.

Nice place to visit right by the riverwaik & French Quarters

Nice big center to host a plethora of events, however scurity did feel a bit on the smaller side, only being in the entrance while I was there.

We were there working for a large convention. Staff is great. Very responsive to needs. Bathrooms clean. Had trouble overnight with huge rats, but we began putting all packaged food in tubs every night. There were also large bugs, not a ton but I saw maybe half a dozen. Disconcerting as we had to work back stage with little light, but I think that's just NOLA. You've got to deal with it. Also had events at the Hilton. No bug or rodent sightings. This center is huge, so Hall J was a big trek for us. They need those airport moving sidewalks. Overall a good experience thanks to the people.

Nice conference center! But sooooo much walking and construction. When will the construction end?

Large multiple hall center. Kept very clean. Next to The Riverwalk mall, hotels and downtown New Orleans.

Just spent 3days at Essence Festival Empowerment seminars and shopping for unique gifts. Meeting rooms were well lighted, sound system was good, and bathrooms stayed well stocked and clean. Will definitely get your 10,000 steps walking from one end to the next.

I do not visit New Orleans often and when I do it's typically for a show at the convention center. I always manage to stay within walking distance. The convention center is always clean and serves it purpose well. I just wish there were more restaurant options within immediate proximity.

So many things to do. We were there for the Jurassic Park exhibition or whatever while they had a basketball convention going on. Selection of food was subpar, the regular menu was not being served and prices were high for what we did eat. But don't let that stop you from experiencing it yourself.

It was a MASSIVE crowd for Essence 2018 but I met Mary J Blige and Vivica Fox here!
The was a lot of activity and plenty of space to accommodate it all... massive amounts of vendors with booths set up everywhere... the drawback was the food.
The vendor we went to sold BAD seafood and we all threw up. The "soft shell crabs" were hard! And when we ate them, it tasted like ammonia inside! The conch was disgusting and dough-like and the shrimp were the only saving grace. Poor uber driver... I let her car have it! That's not the convention centers fault tho, but it was my experience here.

Wear your walking shoes. I put in between 4 and six miles every day I was in the halls. Bring extra cash for meals, they all seemed high price, low quality.

This place is freaking ginormous wear you're comfy shoes and bring a blanket.

Just like any other convention center, with one down point, they DO NOT recycle. Conferences full of people that mix trash with paper, plastic, aluminum, glass. Precious resources that go to the land fill

Nice facility. Conference rooms weren t overly cold like other conference centers I ve been to. But the place is massive mainly, long and narrow so where good walking shoes if your conference is big. The catered food was good. The food for purchase was good but expensive. A lot of nearby quality hotels within walking distance as are a number of good places to eat. Next to Mardi Gras World in one end and a mall on the other. Overall a decent place for a large conference.

A great experience. The convention center is beautiful. My only complaint was that with a group as large as ours the food court should have been open. We had no where to eat! No place around really for a quick lunch. I was with the National PTA

2018 Essence Festival Expo.... Wonderful first time experience

Bring your walking shoes!! This convention center is nearly a MILE long! However, it is a Beautiful structure that is ideal for large OR small conferences. I would recommend bringing a sweater/Jacket though, even if it is hot outside, they keep it cool in the building.

Extremely large access was difficult with construction. Wife was there for conference at far end of building.
