Went to the jewelry show with my sister. Was expecting expensive parking. It was only $15. However the food inside was crazy expensive!! $3.50 for a bottle of water!! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Let's see...how do you review a conference center? It is large...has lots of rooms...is well-marked for finding your way from room to room. Reasonably comfortable climate control. Lots of bathrooms. Expensive snacks. This is notba cheap conference, so this seemed like taking advantage of a captive audience. Finding food (aside from lunchtime) was difficult. Need more availability of food in between sessions. The atrium cafe was always too long a line to get anything without being late. (This review was during Ellucian live 2019...no idea who is actually responsible for this - the conference center or the company.)
Great modern convention center. Plenty of hotels and restaurants within walking distance. Fifth star given for the the strong AC. It is very hot and humid outside.
Massive conference center. Was here for Tableau conference.you will definitely get your steps in at this place. Nice theater and ballroom setups. great AV in all rooms.
This convention center is huge you get tired walking around this place awesome place to have a convention awesome City the staff is super friendly everybody's nice I had a good experience couple coffee shops which make the walking around a little easier overall great place to throw events
Fabulous convention center. It's huge. It can receive tens of thousands of people. Even several connections are organized at the same time. It is spacious, it has balconies, it is air-conditioned, it has wifi, it has ub starbucks inside. Apparently there was a restaurant before but they are not working. The rooms are modern, very well equipped with sound and projection systems. It is located along the Mississippi River, under the bridge, close to many hotels and a shopping center (Riverside). It has electric stairs. I think they make lifts and bands for rapid deployment on the first floor because of the great distances that must be walked.
Nice Convention Space The International Work Boat Show is held here and the staff are fabulous. Helpful, professional, friendly just nice folks that are helpful with a friendly smile. Clean restrooms and a great food court. The only downside are the prices of the vending machines...totally outrageous and worse than airport prices...
Its an amazing place for a convention, however the food service is terrible. Full of apathetic cooks and servers who don't care. Not good for a tech conference. Other than the this place made collision amazing :D
It's the perfect place for a convention! It's right on the Mississippi River walking distance to everything. Great restaurants, Casino, and Bourbon Street need I say more?
Holy smokes this place is huge, during essence festival it can be a bit daunting to think you can do and see everything at once. So If there are multiple days during your event, go often to experience everything.
The place is a nice new convention center. As it turn out, I fell and hurt myself on the stairs -- not their fault. I was just clumsy. Still, it took 20-30 minutes to get the on site medical person to show up. I ended up taking a cab to Tulane ER.
Huge! We'll air-conditioned. They seem to be able to do it all. Starbucks Cafe is a nice amenity. Great location on the river and under the bridges. Easy to get in and out of.
nice location. There was not enough food/beverage for the amount of people. One Starbucks for the whole thing with nothing else open for coffee...long long lines.
