Extremely packed. So packed we couldn't stand to look at the fish before getting swarmed. The whole building was very small and a cap should definitely be put on the amount of people let in at one. Also spent 30 bucks on one stuff penguin...

I was a member at one time so that I could bring the kids here and enjoy this famous, landmark aquarium. On my recent visit I did not go in as the line was long and I didn't have priority entry.
While in Boston you must make a visit even if you don't have kids. the tank is humungous and so aren't some of it's inhabitants.

Really great information and exhibits but the layout of the aquarium is a little confusing and doesn't handle large traffic very well. They could do a better job of enforcing no flash photography or tapping on the glass. The line to get tickets was dramatic, snaking you through tents with employees taking your picture to sell you further down the line.

The main attraction would probably be the center tank which is really well maintained and cared after. There are hundreds of fish and sea turtles and you could spend hours just watching them all.

Without rushing and spending a good amount of time at each exhibit we spent a little over 2 hours at the aquarium. Whether that is enough to justify the money is up to you.

A small aquarium in great location. When not to full a place to enjoy the animals. Can recommend, but not on weekend days (overcrowded). The paths are clever built so you havr good views. Loved the seals and the good atmosphere of this place!

The best aquarium I have ever visited in USA. There is a nice 90 years old tortoise and they feed them very nicely. The main aquarium is so giant and so beautiful. Having variety of species of fishes, snakes etc etc. Nice collection of Penguin. They are so innocent and cute...

Came on a holiday weekend and, as expected, had to wait awhile which wasn t really the problem. It was once you got inside where the issues started. Super crowded from the never ending stream of people coming in and no directional control meant you felt like a fish swimming upstream. Incredibly cramped and nearly impossible to get the little kids close enough to see an exhibit (the guy standing in front of the octopus on his phone checking his email was my personal favorite). All of this coupled with how dark it was inside meant I spent more time trying to see my kids than see the exhibits. Overall, a very negative experience.

A little underwhelming. Parking was $40 for not even a full 2 hours inside the museum. We expected to spend more time in the museum, but felt there wasn't as much to see as we expected. The huge circle aquarium in the middle of the museum is fascinating though.

My family loves this place! The penguins are so fun to watch and the big tank is amazing. We spend hours here just watching all the fish and the turtle. The sting ray is pretty cool to see.

The prices went up big time is there really a few exhibits. The octopus is rather small and in such a small enclosure if there's more than four or five people looking you won't see in the enclosure is set up in such a way that you can't see anyways. Other than the Penguins and the two big turtles this was kind of a bust. Not what it used to be in the past.

Loved it and it's only because the library on Tremont St gave me and my ganson tickets the same day. All the sea creatures showed up and showed out. The only probably was not enough diversity.... Everybody at the exhibits I seen was all white... Nobody looked like me nor my ganson and therefore they nice was insulting. All races are nice that don't prove you qualified

Great opportunity for everyone to experience aquatic life from up close. The central aquarium is filled with a variety of creatures and is an absolute fun to watch. The entire place can be easily covered in under 2 hours, unless you go for the whale watch.

It's a nice aquarium even if it seems a bit overcrowded.
The one thing that bothered my group, was the first exhibit you see is the penguins. There were pieces of trash that the penguins were eating and though we notified 3 different staff members, it was still there a couple of hours later.

Love this aquarium because it emphasizes learning more about the ocean and taking care of this precious resource. It's a small space, but you'll learn a lot!
Don't park in the garage though. It'll cost you an arm and a leg. Find meter parking on the nearby streets & walk a block or two. Way worth it

Loved the place, but I love all aquariums. They need to limit the amount of people they let in.. on the day we went, it was so crowded and noisy, that is wasn't that fun. (actually pretty miserable)

I love the aquarium. The big tank has some amazing different fish and along the walls has some educational areas that is great. When it is busy it is hard to move around and see everything. They should try to suggest a people all go in the same direction for better flow.

My kids love aquariums and we have been to a few to say the least. This one was just the right size to keep a 6 year old entertained and 1010 year old busy. The part they liked the best was the touch tank.
