New Castle Homes Review

I have my 'Retirement Home' that I love. I worked with Jeff Warren on 'what' I wanted in my new home. It had been 40 years since I had a new home and I had 'wants' . Jeff was quick at laying out the changes to the base Commodore ranch home - taking out walls, moving walls, answering questions and then making more changes. He was always patient and never rushed me in making decisions. There are some fixes that Jeff's crew needs to make to what Commodore did wrong - but walk-thru caught most of it and I have 12 months to note anything I have seen while living in the home. I have had two different families stop to ask me questions about the home since they were told it was a modular build but looking at it could not believe it was - due to the design changes made and wrap around deck and wood lap siding. The great thing is the 2 x 6 wall construction which allows for better insulation - all home construction done at Commodore was done inside their facility with no bad weather affecting the construction. New Castle has a great crew to work with - good at calling and verifying anything that was a last minute change. Very pleased and very happy with my new home.

We met with Jeff back in July of 2016 to pick out our home. After grueling months of weather, lots of rock to dig into and external service providers to get on the ball, we were finally able to move in August of 2017. Jeff is the best guy all around. Very patient and knowledgeable of the homes and if you need help understanding something, he is more than willing to help. Terry is excellent with making sure that things are completed and done right. Building a home is no small feat and even when going the modular route you're going to run into issues, but whether big or small Jeff and Terry and their awesome staff were there every step of the way to make sure that we were taken care of. I would highly recommend going the modular route, this is my 2nd one, and would recommend Jeff and Terry for your new home. I posted photos of our home exterior.

Great modules homes, car ports. Thought pricing is a little high. Just have to decide which way to go.

Called first to get an appointment as website suggested. Went to our appointment time this morning Jim acted like we were second class because we had a VA loan. Didn't believe me when I told him we were getting a construction to build thru VA. When we told him how much we were pre approved for he again acted like we couldn't even come close to being able to afford there houses. Like he didn't want to deal with the VA.
Sad thing was he said he was also a veteran. Couldn't believe he talked to us that way.

Professional company and great products. Jeff is great to deal with and a trustworthy builder. Our home is nothing but the best design and quality. Would recommend to anyone to check it out when wanting a new home.

Great group of people, friendly and very helpful. They know their business inside and out. We had a very pleasant experience working with them to build our dream home. If we ever decide to build again, we will be back!

Buying a home can be a very stressful and time-consuming event but building a home is a whole other ballgame. I can t say I wasn t stressed throughout my home building experience but I can say New Castle Home made the process painless. The best part was customizing my home with the thousands of options and endless possibilities available this was probably the most stressful but fun! Jeff helped me think of everything that would provide convenience yet efficiency for my home. He also set expectations and made me aware of any possible upsets that could arise. Everyone that has toured my home is thoroughly impressed with my options, my custom design, and most of cost. I truly believe New Castle Home offers the best way to build your dream home at a reasonable price. The possibilities are endless with this company and they have a fantastic team. No way would I ever consider building a stick built home knowing New Castle could help me. My customized modular home is nothing but quality built from the most skilled professionals.

Had not been there in quite a few years. Still a nice place. Had some nice model double wides but not enough single wides. Two that we could see. It was a cool day, no rain, nice visit.
