We rented the space for a birthday/family reunion. My cousins and I all grew up coming here so we came back to reminisce and get together from out of town. The staff were so accommodating, efficient and kind! We had so much fun spending time together and playing lots of games together. One thing positive to come out of covid was being able to rent out this space! 10/10, so glad this place is still around!
Kids had fun for a little bit. No Groupon on the weekend (who knows why) manager will get nice and snappy with you if you ask questions. More than half of the arcade games are broken. Inside of the playground could use a serious cleaning. Some climbing poles are loose, and seemed mmpretty dangerous. Guy in snack bar hates his job. Overall poorly ran, not worth the money at all. Plenty of other options in the area, don't waste your time.
My kids (7 & 8) love Makutu s Island. They love the snake slide, zip line, and so much more. I love the cafe. They have good beer choices, delicious snack foods, and excellent customer service. Today in the cafe, Tim went out of his way to provide amazing customer service. Thank you Tim and the Makutu s Island team!!
I think place was pretty cool. It would be nice if they had one in Sacramento, California.
I just went over here on Wednesday for the first time and had the biggest private party for my two year old son. The staff was amazing with my family members and friends. They were so nice and cordial, they helped me serve and cut the cake. They even joined in on singing happy birthday to my son! I would recommend for anyone who is looking to have good wholesome quality fun with their friends or family to contact the GM Alissa. She set up everything for me, even gave me a tour of the entire place, and showed me all great deals on different sized private party packages. Makutu s Island is the best place for kids 2+. Thank you Alissa and her staff so much for all the help and joy you brought my family and I!
If your kids like climbing and arcade's bring then here. The credit system for the arcade is the only thing holding me back from five stars because you can dump a lot of money but at least they dont expire. Had a blast looking to take the kids back again and adding to this experience. The multiple levels are great and the way the different environment connect is interesting. Some of the areas are tight so if your child needs you to go with them be ready to twist and turn. Good luck.
Such a cool place for kids, I am honestly not sure how anyone could rate this place any less than 5 stars. As parents we should be incredibly grateful that places like this exist.
Upon entering I myself was personally blown away by the level of detail that went into creating this place. I mean honestly, this isn t just a bunch of slides and play structures like Uptown Jungle, this place is a step above any of the indoor playgrounds you ve taken your kids too. So much so that even as an adult I found myself wanting to explore!
The prices are fair, the place is clean, and as a whole I think that in terms of indoor playgrounds this place is above and beyond anything else in Arizona.
I promise you won t be disappointed if you take your kids here. In fact, anyone who is disappointed is probably the sensitive Sally type. You know, the ones who complain on Twitter about anything and everything.
Just go, you won t be disappointed and neither will your kids!

Their customer service was AMAZING! Jeremiah did a fantastic job catering to our party. The pizza was very good and the kids loved the jungle atmosphere.
Such a fun place to bring the kids. Lots for them explore and play. This is a good value because there is no time limit like the trampoline parks.
Pictures don't do the play space justice. There are cat walks and tunnels connecting everything so there is plenty to keep kids occupied.
Parents can play too, but the spaces are tight for adults.
