Friendly staff, always smiling, the breakfast is basic but largely enough to start the day. The rooms are made every day and in case of problems, the team reacts very quickly. The hotel is located near 5 subway lines (7, E, R, N, W) and you reach Manhattan in 10 minutes. All the best tourist destinations are served by these subways and always in less than 10 minutes. Great cheap hotel that I recommend in a quiet area with a laundromat at a street.

3 stars for cleanness only. It s expensive and the AC blows the air on the floor, I had to build a ramp with our suitcase to divert the air to bed level. The fan doesn t blow strong air flow.

Fantastic Hotel with a fresh European flair. I've stayed in several in the area as well as dodged a few horror stories.

This place has a very legit and efficient front desk staff. Rooms are very clean, however there're a few issues that you might want to prepare for and avoid:

* Clean room and dinning area.

* Our room had a balcony with great view of the city.

* Full Bathroom with bath tub.

* Adequate room heating.

This is my favorite among 3 in the area.

Clean. Good location. Train and deli near by and on street parking. Only thing is the room was freezing and bathroom when I checked in I had to turn the heat temperature on high. The room esp the bathroom took several hours to warm up. I feel that the heat should have been on prior to check-in. Especially it was inclement weather. Should make your customers comfortable.

Very good hotel and service, friendly and helpful staff also clean and tidy.
The breakfast lacked a cheese slice otherwise perfectly okay. Close to the subway and a great price for being in New York.

We had a pleasant stay. The room with king size bed, balcony and view of Manhattan was clean but very small .. No possibility to stow the suitcases or unpack. No further seating except the bed ... The breakfast is functional and acceptable ... The location of the hotel is good to discover the city ... Lots of metro lines in the vicinity and the airports are easy to reach ...

I feel like Nesva is *trying* but they don't quite have their act together yet. The tl;dr is I don't feel I can recommend the place.

We reserved a king room for 2 nights. A few days before we were to arrive, they emailed requesting confirmation that we were coming since they were overbooked. I confirmed by phone right away after my reply bounced (mailbox full).

When we got there, they had given us a room with 2 twins. After talking with them they said because of being full up they could not move us until our second night. I was glad they were able to move us since the first room smelled a little odd. In our second room, housekeeping had neglected to pick up a can of beer left on the balcony. In both rooms the air conditioning didn't circulate well unless you had the fan on all the time.

A note on the G+ description: there is no minibar, just a fridge. Complimentary breakfast ends at 9am, so if you get there later, everything's been put away except for instant oatmeal.

On the plus side, the rooms have new-looking tilework in the bathrooms, a decent view from the balcony, and a darned cute courtyard with murals. Service was polite and professional. It's about 4 blocks to the metro station so getting to Manhattan was easy.

I made a reservation of those that can be canceled without charge. He said that no amount would be charged to the card that was only to be able to make the reservation and it turns out that the amount appeared as consumption made in my summary. There is no way to communicate with the hotel. I do not know what to do. What lack of professionalism.

Nice hotel, with great staff and very good customer focus. Located within minutes of rail links. Rio Grande bar across the road and their franchise in the hotel restaurant provided fantastic food and drink options. The supermarket on the corner was well stocked, great value, nice staff and open long hours. We could not have picked a better place to stay.

Spacious rooms. Inexpensive. Good access to public transportation. Cheap car ride to and from Laguardia. My wife and I stayed here on our annual trip to the city to see some shows and will likely try to stay here again.

It's decent, but feels like it needs a remodel with tips from a interior designer. I mean, the place is quite clean, but the carpets and furniture in King Standard made it feel a bit like a motel

Also, breakfast was quite disappointing for me, as it was just straight stuff from the grocery store laid out in front of the dining area. Juices were the cheap sugary kind and it would have been great to have at least something fresh except (cut tomato, cucumber, fresh slides cheese or meat from the deli). Instead it was all processed food except the option of an apple or banana.

Highly recommended Clean room. Very good service. Staff willing to provide help and directions. They speak Spanish. Very good breakfast Coffee available 24 hours. Peaceful neighborhood. Free Wifi worked always without problems. In front of a taxi station, 2 blocks from the subway stop, only 3 stations from Manhattan. On the corner there are 2 restaurants and a supermarket. One block from a pizzeria.

A great hotel.

A great hotel.

After staying for the night, I was pleased in every way. The room was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. The hotel is in a good, central location in the Queens/Long Island City area. The only issue I had was that the heater came and went, but this failed to be any real problem (and the manager promised to look into it after I mentioned it). If ever again in the area and in need of a place, I'd gladly return.

A big thank-you to everyone at this hotel. Keep up the good work :)

Eh, if you just need a place to sleep for the night it gets the job done, but not much else. The front desk lady gave us some flack as we're under 21 and booked it through hotel tonight (20 btw), but after some back and forth and her contacting someone we finally got the go ahead to go to our rooms. The room was small and drab but was clean enough. If there are other options I'd go there though.

Not good. Room clean..upon check in we noticed that lobby was hot..get into elevator still hot get to floor and hallway is dark lights off dark..I say to my husband this is not looking good..room was so hot we had to turn on A/c and leave while it cooled down. Return and it was cooler than the hallway but not good. Rooms have carpet hate that. Then I find this sign.. this must have been a joke

A quiet and clean place. Close to two subway stations that drop you off at Rockefeller center in 15-20 minutes.

Breakfast is good in pastries, but do not expect much apart from that. Juice is 'tang' and good coffee ... American.

The hotel receptionists are super friendly and at least 2 speak Spanish.

I would return to the hotel for the quality price, recommended.

Great little hotel! Smaller rooms, but very clean and well decorated. Good customer service. The neighborhood is safe and has several nice dining options within walking distance. The subway is walking distance as well. There are 2 Pokestops within range! Haha

Small room, very cozzy, and clean. NO MIRRORS in the room which is a big plus for me. I dont trust those things. Only downside is they only provided 1 body towel, which is no biggy since they are bice upfront and will provide you with things if you need them. No room service that im aware of, but also no biggy since we are just using this room pretty much to sleep and shower.

The continental breakfast was awesome. The rooms were very small but that was to be expected from the reviews. The staff wasn't overly friendly but they were nice enough. Cleaning staff was awesome and it was in a pretty good location. Not far from the subway so we could get in Manhattan pretty easily.

Great! Loved this hotel. The room is great and super comfortable. It is not near the hustle and bustle of Times Square, nor on the island, but is very well served by subway and close to three stations: 39 Av., Queens Plaza and Queensboro Plaza. I'll take you anywhere in no more than 30 / 40min. At night, super quiet to walk the street. I had no difficulty. The room is cleaned every day, as are towels changed. Breakfast is simple but good. At check-in they will make a security deposit on your $ 100 credit card which you must request for a proof of charge at check-out.

Great affordable boutique hotel! The 39th Ave metro station is just a short and safe walk away. Two stops and you are in the heart of Manhattan. There is also a liquor/grocery store and a quaint city park steps away from the hotel.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was satisfactory and got us off to a good start every morning.

We were very well taken care of by Diana, Clariz and Dennis at Nesva Hotel. Hope to come back and visit again soon.

This is a cute little hotel well located in an area that makes it very easy to get into central nyc. It's great value for money. The room was clean and perfectly fine. Not the largest room but perfect for somewhere to sleep when you're here to see the sites. The only disappointing thing was breakfast... It ends very early and there's not much choice. It also feels a bit cheap... Orange squash instead of real juice for example. Would definitely recommend.

Clean modern hotels with friendly staff. We found this hotel to be a great place to stay. Convenient access to the metro and lots of free on street parking all around. It is surrounded by plenty of great ethnic restraints that won't leave you wanting.

But we had some problems when checking out: we would pay in cash, but they had already processed in our credit card... (we are from Brazil and paying by credit card we need to pay more taxes).

Tiny hotel for the European crowd, with minuscule rooms.

The air conditioning was abominable, when we checked in after midnight it had been off all day-- even though it was a humid 97 out. Once turned on, it couldn't keep pace, and we had to ask for help as its shut off several times. Desk clerk tried to help but his limited English didn't help things. On the plus size, room was quite clean and the water pressure in the shower was excellent, and the amenities and bath towels were surprisingly nice. Beds were ok, and the breakfast, while nothing exciting, could have been worse. Avoid the pricey garage if you can, as it's $30. Close by parking available on street, especially on weekends and summer days when local schools are out and the school parking rules temporarily unrestricted.

A notch above a hostel, and for NYC it's pretty cheap, but this is nothing special.

Excellent hotel. A short walk to the subway and then 10 minutes to Times Square. The room is small but just the right size for 2 people. The king bed actually has full sized king pillows. One of the more comfortable hotel beds I have slept on. The views of Manhattan are excellent as well. I can see the top if most of the major buildings. I was skeptical at first because of the price being so low but am extremely happy with the Nesva Hotel.

In the rooms without a balcony, it is very stuffy, as the windows cannot be opened or tilted. Elementary school is right next door. Depending on the orientation of the room, it will be a bit noisy when there is a school break.
Had an upgrade, the adjoining room had a balcony and a great view of the city! Outstanding!
Location is great, metro can be reached on foot in about 3-5 minutes. Staff was very nice and coming first. Gladly again

This was our first visit to New York and we stayed at Nesva for 6 days. When we arrived they were not quite ready for us, so they arranged for us to stay on the top floor with the best view of Manhattan. We had two rooms and they were both very clean, tidy and comfortable. It came with a small refrigerator and plenty of room for storage. Being from the south, we were surprised that there was no parking garage or lot so if you are not used to NY, be ready to park somewhere on the street. Other than parking, the hotel was very nice and the people were helpful. The view was stunning. They had a small but nice breakfast in the morning and a cute patio outside to eat and visit. It was the perfect place to relax after a lot of walking in the city. If we ever go back to NY we would pick this hotel as our first choice.

We stayed 6 days in New York and the choice of the hotel turned out to be really good. In 5/6 minutes there are 3 metro stations, which take you to Times Square in 10/15 minutes. The hotel is small but clean and in a quiet area. Small but clean rooms, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and daily linen change. The staff is very friendly and available for any request. The object I highly recommend!

Very nice, clean and new hotel. In the rooms modern furnishings (as in photos), only breakfast room kept relatively simple. "International breakfast" always fresh, but modest selection. Staff very friendly.

Location 3 mins from Subway Station, which operates in a few minute intervals (single journeys currently cost anywhere within NYC $ 2.75). Area is great for cheap food. Shopping is nearby but less possible.

The location is good: in five minutes you are at the metro station and in another 15 minutes at Times Square.
Breakfast is only available until 9 a.m. (unfortunately I didn't manage to try that).

Surprisingly neat and well-maintained place. We had a poor experience where they "upgraded" us from a 2 bed room to a single King Bed luxury room. When it comes to just sleeping over the night for 2 bachelors, we'd rather have our own beds and not have to share one.. The breakfast was nothing to write home about either. But for the price, it's alright. Plus parking becomes an issue. So be careful of that.
