I've been at encore since I was 8. and I have progressed a lot in the past 4 years! I am now on a competing xcel team! I went from beginner to intermediate to team. They are the best gym in a local town.
It appears that my daughter has also had a very unpleasant experience with the "mean lady." My daughter has been going to summer camp here for 4 years and had her birthday party here; however the 2nd day into camp this year she came home crying hysterically because of the way she was treated. When I talked to said lady, there was no apology just blame on the 8 year old.... looks like we will find another camp next year
One of the boys coach's is great! My son has been going for years because he loves his coach and the class. He had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE at the spring camp. His usual coach was not there and a "mean lady" took his place. She is not effectively monitoring the boys. My son had some problems with the older boys and came home upset. When I mentioned the experience to her she said that he shouldn't be tattling and he must be the problem. This is not the first problem we've had with the "mean lady". We've overlooked it in the past because the usual coach is great with the kids.
We will be finding a new gymnastics school.
Horrible. The owners know nothing about gymnastics and this causes constant staff turn over. if you want fun, this is an Ok place. if you want to learn gymnastics, go somewhere else.
I can't possibly recommend this gym. The owners are miserable people. Most of the time you are paying for is wasted on setting up each station. Most of the instructors don't monitor the kids for proper form. Now that we are at a new gym, my kids have improved dramatically in a short time. It's amazing what a proper facility with caring staff will do. Please, take your business elsewhere!!
My daughter loves this place and they seem to do very well.
Encore is awesome! I started in beginner then went intermediate then to advanced in 1 year! It's amazing how much I have improved and now I competing on their eagles xcel competitive team.
