Great stay at the Yak and Yeti hotel. I choose a room on the historic side of the hotel and was very pleased with all aspects of my stay. The resident's lounge on the 4th floor is a nice place to relax and have a drink or snack. All the staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The best aspects of the hotel are its historic charm, its close proximity to shops and sites of interest, and its beautiful garden and pool area. Even the Tibetan monks who were staying there were taking selfies in the gardens

One of the best hotel in town with luxurious rooms and of course the swimming pool which is amazing. Till now visited 4 times and it feels so good to be there.

Good hotel! Ask for rooms in the new wing.. they could improve on their service a bit..

Highly recommended place for high society and business meeting and seminars also

Very bad.. not worth for price.. n all are extra changes.. including no WiFi free.. seriously useless service also!

A good hotel in Kathmandu having a decent casino. However the gentry of the casino is not all that great.

Historical palace converted to a hotel. Hotel is ok, little bit outdated in rooms and common areas. Food is good especially in Chimney Restaurant.

The beer in the bar -- at $10 with tax, cost WAY too much!

Old , pricey and not well maintained. A five star which charges separately for WiFi which is free even in roadside restaurants!

Although not at a satisfactory level, considering the location, it is hard to find any more hotels in this chaotic Kathmandu. It is also the only space where you can breathe. The location of this hotel is great for locals. The North Korean restaurant right in front of you is also worth eating.

I was a event at Darbar Hall & I had get dinner at Sayaparti restaurant it both were good.

Probably one of the oldest 5 star hotels in Katmandu. It has a heritage building as the banquet hall. This hotel has an old charm with a golf course next to it. The staff here is experienced and courteous and they know their job.

It's a 5 * by me although I've only been a dinner guest here for the buffet MULTIPLE times. An oasis in the chaos of Kathmandu.

Staff is superb. Asked me how my food was, I said "not spicy enough", so everytime I arrive the chef fixes me a small dish of red pepper sauce.

About the only thing I have to be careful of is overeating.

Good place for stay and food. Even surroundings are very well situated within the main market and shops with food .

Highly professional staff, good food, siren environment and easy access

The place and environment is to be visited, but for non-clients staying there is no Internet connection and in the cafeteria they look at you with dish eyes, after waiting half an hour nobody has come to attend, and without people just, with all the world time. A real disaster that you do not expect in Nepal or a neighborhood tascucia. REGRETTABLE.

The facilities are not modern, but they are old-fashioned.

Having breakfast and having a cup of coffee in the grass square, I had a wonderful experience watching goose.

It's the best place for Casino in Kathmandu.
Hotel Yak and Yeti houses the famous Casino Royale the best Casino in town. Situated in the mid of the city it's is the most comfy,luxurious and beautiful adobe you will find in Nepal. Loved it !

Except for the heritage and newly constructed wing, rooms are not so great compared to the price paid.

Hotel too old! Rooms too small! Only one restaurant available and lack of food variety! Housekeeping is not good, always forgets to provide enough towels or tissue papers! Definitely not five stars! Ranking should be three stars only!

Went there for a royal dinner party. All the food items were so tasty and the interior was attractive indeed.
