Good place but need to offer more service by verbally offering foreigners basic information on Kathmandu like where to change money,get taxi and safety precautions around hotel and town

The meeting rooms on the 2nd floor is only accessible by a lift or a service entrance. The floor vibrates when people walk past your table.

Located at the prime area close to palace and posh commercial centers, this is the prime luxury hotel in that area.

Food served is finger licking tasty both for breakfast as well as lunch and dinner.

The rooms are well appointed but could have been better in terms of attention to guest requirements. We were struggling to find sockets for mobile charging. Also the tea maker positioning was very odd.

Overall experience was good but it could have been great with a little more personal touch.

It is a luxury hotel to stay with all basic amenities. The staff is good and so is the food. Hygiene and cleanliness is also at acceptable levels.It has a good view . Also ample parking. Main hep market is close.thamel is around 1.5kms from the hotel. A value for money .

Certainly one of the best places to be stationed in Kathmandu. Don't forget to visit the spa + gym in the basement level. The outdoor pool may be drained / dry in the winter months.

Some parts of hotel are really old and regal. Situated in heart of kathmandu and is oasis in the hustling city.

i have visited this place in December 2010 and would like to recommand you all , if you are planning to come Kathmandu, Nepal must visit this place basically Yak and Yeti is a heritage hotel located in Durbar Marg, the thriving city center of Kathmandu Valley, in a prime location that is minutes walking distance from the former Royal Palace. Durbar marg is a commercial area with high-end shops and a variety of food options. Our 5 star deluxe luxury property is 6 KM away from the Tribhuvan International Airport, about 1 KM from the famous tourist hub of Nepal- Thamel.

One of the luxarius hotel in Nepal kathmundo. Their service is so good. All kind of food are very fresh. well equipped and nest and clean room feels you a relax weekend. The attach casino also a enjoyable time. In nepal this hotel is one of the largest and old one.

stayed for one night at this hotel on 15th september. Beautiful hotel , nice rooms and good food. Staffs were friendly and helpful. They have a beautiful backyards with swimming pool ,a pond and beautiful walking area.

Classic hotel where all mejor Everest expedition stay when in Kathmandu. And that is a plus because they have a well organized left luggage service for trekkers, something you will not find in chain hotels. A bit dated but grandiose nevertheless you will feel part of the countless expeditions that go through on an everyday basis. As such, make sure you bring enough adaptors fir your devices as there are not many usable ac outlets in the rooms. Complmentary wifi is enough for the business traveler and they have a premium service should you need more speed. The grounds are well manucured and together with the swimming pool, provide a welcome respite from Kathmandu's choking dust and are a must outing for any guest. Spa needs an update but is adequate nonetheless especially after trekking in the top of the world.

Good location. The hotel itself is a bit old, but quite cozy. Several restaurants, a huge area.

Been there multiple occasions. For a hotel of that many stars it certainly isnt my favorite place especially how less spacious it is. Everything looks cramped into a very little place. But the location is prime so easy access. Food is just average.
