Brought my car up there to be fixed on three different times in three months and just got back four days ago and still not fixed. Guess I need to bring my HONDA to a FORD dealership to be worked on

Trey was an excellent sales man. He was polite and respectful. Would definitely go back again. Very satisfied with the customer service.

Scheduled a service appointment a week ahead. Arrived at appointment only to find out part not available and don't know when it will be in. A call was placed the day of to our home one hour before our appointment after we had already left for an hour + drive to Martinsville. Very poor management. Didn't seem to care. Taking business elsewhere.

What a nice experience it was to purchase a vehicle from here. Patty and Joanna treated me like family. I held off from writing a review of our recent purchase. My wife and I wanted to make sure that everything went ok for a little while. The vehicle has been excellent. We have been in contact with them since and will be purchasing another vehicle from here. That's saying a lot since we live in Florida. Great fun, family environment when you walk in with no pressure. All of the staff at Nelson Honda are always laughing and smiling. Absolutely wonderful experience! Corrie Barbour was wonderful to work with. Everything went smooth and fast and all my questions were answered. He went above and beyond to help me get exactly what I wanted. Definitely will do business there again when my husband decides to get a new vehicle.

Take the time to drive to Martinsville VA! I have been looking and pricing Honda Pilots for several weeks, drove to Nelsons to look at a different car for my husband and came home with the Pilot that I have been looking for at a great price. Dearl Adams is the best salesman (be sure to ask for him) and Patty Stidham the GM is awesome. I was never discounted or talked down to while purchasing my vehicle without my husband present.
Dearl spent extra time after the purchase to ensure that I knew how to operate all of the "bells and whistles " on it, and I can tell you from past experiences that once the ink dries, salesmen at other dealerships are off to the next conquest. Thanks Dearl for going above and beyond!

Billy was great! I wanted to surprise my wife for her birthday and he kept everything very hush. Very simple and easy transaction. We test drove and I spent 30 minutes talking with him. We went home and a few hours later he sent me the paperwork. Took the wife to eat the next day and he showed up at the restaurant with balloons and all. She was very surprised and I was very pleased!

Absolutely was lied to by Patty Stidham general manager. She will try to steal your vehicle . Please do your homework and see for yourself ! I wasted a 2 hour drive because of her. Sorry Mr and Mrs Nelson but im very dissatisfied. But on A good note the salesman Mr Daryl Adams was very honest. I don't feel I was misled I was deliberately lied to.

My truck buying experience at Nelson was exceptional. All parties involved were very professional and treated me with the utmost respect. My salesman, Billy, was friendly, courteous, and remained both approachable and accessible throughout the buying process. Hats off to both Billy and the whole team.

I had an appointment, but they still took 2 1/2 hours to service my vehicle and the problem still was not fixed (although I was charged $175 for new brake pads which they thought would correct the issue). I emailed them twice to let them know, and no one responded. I did receive an email asking me to complete a survey about my experience, but I never received the survey, so that's why I'm posting this review here.

I was abroad and needed to purchase a used vehicle sight-unseen. The car was absolutely as-advertised and true to pictures, and the process could not have been smoother. Larry was a great person to work with, as was the rest of the team..communication was easy and straightforward. They even arranged for a pickup from the local airport. My experience shows a dealership that is honest and forthright. I would buy another car here again for sure.

This was my first time purchasing a car from a dealership. My salesperson, Kathy, was amazing! We did a test drive and I felt like I was chatting with a friend. When we got back to the dealership, she asked me what type of payments I was looking for. She worked with me and got them as close to that figure I had as possible. They had the car cleaned and detailed before I left too. I felt comfortable in knowing that I purchased a great car and got a great price on it! Excited to buy from these guys in the future! :)

In Sept 2017, we purchased an Accord from Nelson Honda. We cannot say enough about our salesperson Mike Merriman. He tells his costumers "you are the boss and I work for you". Since our purchase we have had a minor issue that Mike was prompt to resolve for us. We were treated with the upmost professionalism and friendliness at this dealership from Mike Merriman and Patty Stidham. They both worked hard to make it happen for us. I am extremely pleased with our experience during our purchase and would highly recommend these folks and dealership .

I was in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. I had some previous dissatisfaction with the service dept at Nelson Honda, Martinsville. I had traded in my Civic for a new Civic in 2015. The old crew had been very good with my 1st new Civic. I had always gotten my oil changes and tires with rotations and other up keep on my Civic. I was very satisfied. I received my coupons in the mail and got money off each oil change. Also included were free clean up coupons. Upon the purchase of my new Civic in 2015 I expected the same great service. I stopped receiving my oil change coupons. The service dept. could never figure out why? Same address no change. I also didn't get any coupons to wash my car. They sold me a lifetime free of alignments; which I was told would not be honored. Trina and new crew came to the service dept. and worked with me to get ALL my coupons and my alignments reinstated. I once again was completely satisfied with my service and warranty agreement.
Also; the sales dept. had disappointed me with the purchase of my 2015 Civic. My husband had agreed that we would never purchase another car from Nelson Honda in Martinsville. We had had some concerns that we had went back a couple of times after the purchase of my second new Civic. We were just not satisfied with my 2nd Civic. It felt like no one really cared about 2nd time business of a NEW car purchase with extended warranty purchase.
Anyway; on 9/5/2020 when I went in for a oil change and tire rotation. I was just looking around while I was waiting for my car to be serviced. I was approached by Billy Marshall a newly employed (within 3-4 months) young man to the Sales Dept. He ask and I explained ALL my dissatisfaction to him of my 2nd new car purchase. I really liked the pre-owned car that Billy had offered me to test drive. However; I knew and shared with Billy that there was NO WAY; I would get my husband to agree to a 3rd new or preowned car. (No matter how sweet a deal) LOL
Long story made short; Billy Marshall cared about customer satisfaction. Billy set out to address ALL of our concerns; and to make a sale of my new Honda Accord 2018 preowned car. He took every concern and met me with a solution to ALL past and current concerns. Billy was very friendly in a professional way. And shared with me some of his and his wife's past experiences with their Honda that by the way he owned before becoming an employee. I was so impressed by Billy's desire to see a past customer satisfied. Before even attempting to make another sale. I took car and satisfaction home; and talked to my husband. Well he was so impressed by Billy and even the Sales Manager; (I can't remember his name) that explained our loan agreement and service contract/warranty to our complete satisfaction. Very personable yet highly professional to answer any and ALL our questions. So that brings me to today; (9/9/2020) my husband and I are still very satisfied with our pre-owned Accord purchase. Simply put Nelson Honda in Martinsville; cared about a past customer ENOUGH: to make a present customer out of us. From the front door to the back: everybody cared. And during the current Pandemic; that's hard to find anywhere? But we had found a caring crew! Billy had called on 9/8/2020 to make sure we were still satisfied. The service dept. had text me as usual to make sure I was satisfied with my oil change and tire rotation. LOVE LOVE LOVE - While searching for a good used car for our daughter, we found a car here - Larry and Jaron made the experience easy and stress free. Had been to another dealer earlier in the week and I left that one thinking if this is how buying a car will be - I will NEVER buy a car again. NELSON HONDA changed that.
