Great fun, but not very suitable for young children.
Great fun, but not very suitable for young children.
Fun for small children, further renovations, interactive displays worn out. For adults, nice collection of old radios and the like, but then the cake is a bit over. Guided tour nice but stay in space of old tires for far too long. Not recommended.
This interactive experience is especially recommended for children. For adults it is fun but definitely not worth the money.
Also nice for children who can handle less incentives
Nice museum, have been there during the top2000 when been inside for 5 euros ... 17.50 is in my opinion a bit crazy in terms of price
Especially focused on children and nostalgia, wanted to see more from behind the scenes, history and context
Interesting and educational, no idea that so much has been collected and that we were kept well busy.
Nice place to enjoy hours of Radio and television history
The muzeum is a children's play paradise. We were bothered by this during our visit because there is nowhere to look quietly without screaming running kids., So fun for kids but less for adults.
Of course, this museum is rather intended for Dutch, but a short note at the box office, that you can not find anything in other languages, have been useful, especially since we only spoke English at the box office ... unfortunately we have in the museum even no word understood. I will not go into the collected data at the beginning (to activate the ring).
Had a nice day here, especially for children it is fun. I also thought it would make a big impression to be a bit cheap. Nice to see things from my childhood.
Day filling attraction. Nice to see and hear everything; childhood memories !!!
Dated, (that ring is very bad in 1999) many interactive attractions don't work, and way too expensive. Not to be repeated.
Nice informative museum for every generation that has ever listened to television or radio. Being very interactive, or just viewing "old" recordings again.
The interactive components were disappointing and the places where you could look back on old footage were mostly occupied. We have to come back again if the Top2000 cafe is not there, probably it will be a lot quieter ...
Nice gadgets there .. recommended .. even or with children
Very nice and interactive museum. My girlfriend and I (both in our 20s) were able to entertain us well one afternoon. Definitely worth it if you want to delve into the different media or their history. What I noticed and could certainly be worked on are the various interactive assignments. Much of it was broken or poorly maintained.
Nice museum. But we were through it faster than we thought. But for children it is also fun because it is very interactive.
Lots of incentives when you come in. You do not know where to look / start. The queue to activate your 'ring' was also quite long and disorganized. Staff is very friendly and tries to help you on your way. We did have a nice afternoon.
Perhaps entertaining for children, but everything in this museum is slowly starting to get on the old side, it is no longer innovative. Their most advanced 'attraction' is VR glasses. The rest is information about media (especially image) of how it originated and this is given to you via video format. If this sounds familiar you are right because YouTube also has videos where you can view this info whenever you want.
So if you come here to let your children run around, this is a nice place just like the playground around the corner. If you come here for an innovative view on image and sound, then your TV at home is more advanced than 90% what it says.
Alleen al het gebouw maakt een bezoek de moeite waard. De afwerking van de buitenkant is echt uniek. Maar ook binnen een kijkje nemen is leuk en je kan er lekker lunchen.
Very nice what you see and hear. I like to see a lot of recognition from the past.
A lot of things to see, very child friendly & lot of entertainment. Perfect for everyone who wants to know everything about the history of media (radio and television) and how that changed the modern world.
Nice offer, well decorated in corona, nice facilities
Good experience, you can do nice things in the museum
The museum has done its very best to be decorated in a totally different way than most museums. Very interactive, a world of its own has been set up for all kinds of themes, special shapes, colors, it is overwhelming. I am sure it has been well thought out. But unfortunately, the design of the museum does not appeal to me at all. I completely lose track and unfortunately the idea behind the exhibition has completely escaped me. The only thing that I liked was a number of recognizable TV attributes that evoked all kinds of memories like relics from times long past. Perhaps it is fun for children between 8 and 14 years. I saw a lot at that age that seemed to be enjoying themselves.
a very nice museum that really excels at the media park
the 3fm tentonsteling is very much a must to view just like the others setup, very nice with eight with the ring good that now new acquaintances are dutch guide, but some of them have some older photos of acquaintances dutchman. the downside are lockers with key lock that is biologically difficult to remember that codem this would have to loose on lockers with key you now saw real coats hanging unguarded. toilet is clean and good store is spacious and really has plenty of staff, you can certainly spend 5 hours at the top
What a huge bad system this museum has. First you stand ten minutes in line to get a ring. Even if you have a museum card. Then there are four computers where you have to fill out everything about yourself for a quarter of an hour. Even if you are with a group, there is no option to do this faster or more convenient. And there are also people who succeed in doing it any longer. But the gentleman says below: at the top there are more computers there, things are going faster. That is not the case: there are two and the line is even longer if possible. This should be more convenient? Give people a unique code or create an app. It's not the nineties, is not it? Everyone has a computer in their pocket and that row is not needed. We have gone home after waiting for three quarters of an hour for nothing. What a weird system.
Talking about a nice museum. This is a nice museum. Be a star yourself read the news, present a quiz or kids for kids. Really fun
In a word, great.
We have already viewed dozens of museums through the annual museum card and this museum is among our top three.
This is one of the most interactive museums we have visited ..
You can easily spend hours here; the children (7 and 12 years) have a great time.
This was certainly not the last time we visited this museum.
Beautiful location for nostalgia in the field of image and sound
Assuming that the history of the sound could also be seen and heard ... I was disappointed.
Apart from a few 50s record players, there is nothing to be found of early history, neither a horn record player nor a wax role player.
Where has the beautiful collection of Harry Belle gone ??? probably in the basement ???
I think it is more about the architecture of the building than about the collection.
For me as an interested in historical sound ... unfortunately not nice.
Very nice and lots to do for children too. There is a parking garage nearby but difficult to park because when the parking garage is full you cannot enter it but it does not take long before someone leaves
It is time for renewal. Computers running on Windows XP that no longer work.
There is more to be gained from the hope that things will not work as intended.
Nice and interactive museum with a lot to do! Unfortunately too much to do all in one day.
Not what I expected it to be. Think it's fun for families with young children.
Fun for children, not for adults .... Screened film material very diverse, but again very limited per item.
Beautiful museum. A lot to do and to experience. Highly recommended for old and young.
No chronology, no logic, just too much interactivity with no real substance or content.
Fun! There's a lot to do! Easy to reach by train! There is just not such good quality with cameras and sound. There may be something new.
A beautiful building with many interactive exhibits for children and adults. Enough to entertain you for hours. The original remains the concept with rings and personal films that you will receive later by mail. Only the lack of daylight is a bit annoying with the Experience after a while, but that might be part of the studio effect.
Everything is only in Dutch, but it does not bother the kids. The museum is packed with content (mainly about Dutch television and shows), but the building itself (architecture) is more impressive than the museum.
When you're not Dutch, I don't think it's any thing for you. If you are, its a drive through memory lane.
Awesome!! Hope to do and see and hear of course, and day is really just too short if you really want to experience everything
Spreading too much information for one day seems appropriate
What can only be described as almost a psychedelic experience, this museum will leave you with your brain buzzing with lights and sounds. A great indoor experience and a must go destination to take kids to learn about all sort of media, from radio, to television to broadcasting and of course the internet and social media. The restaurant is also very decent with both healthy and hearty snacks, cakes and coffee ( with great view to the pond next to the building).
Nice way to get acquainted with radio and TV earlier to the present. Very nice for children. However, expected more from the old equipment.
Jammer dat de experience dicht gaat, maar het zal vast weer geweldig worden.
