I've been here with my class, I think it's a very educational museum for young and old. it is also a nice piece of Dutch history, you can all look back old news programs and there are also old media devices. The souvenir shop is only a bit expensive but otherwise top!

Sound & Vision is quite a disappointing experience...

Sound & Vision is quite a disappointing experience, which also requires a hefty entrance fee. And if a lot of interactive experiences do not work at all or do not work properly, you go home with a nice feeling. We would not recommend anyone to go here.

And it started so positively. At the entrance you are warmly welcomed by a few young people (working students?) Who explain how things work. That was fine. But after that it goes downhill quickly ...

After payment of no less than 16 per ticket (for everyone from 12 years) you will receive a plastic ring with which you can do all kinds of interactive things. At least that is the intention. Unfortunately, quite a few turned out to be out of use during our visit. Also annoying is that in many cases it is poorly or not explained what the intention is what to do. So you have to tap a bit on tablets, but what is expected of you is unclear.

Everywhere in Sound & Vision there are columns where you can view and listen to videos and / or sound fragments. But unfortunately they are often barely intelligible (not even with headphones on). Not only is the volume far too low, you also suffer from ambient noise. Every now and then it seems as if you are in the pool in terms of noise. And about the headphones: it is not very pleasant to have to put on warm headphones that dozens of predecessors have already worn that day. You can only hope that they are cleaned thoroughly every day. I would say: watch the old movies at home via YouTube.

Something that is really outdated and actually no longer possible is a part where you have to guess whose living room you see. There are still long-dead people among them, such as Gerrie Knetemann.

All in all, we found it a great disappointment and certainly not worth repeating. If you dare to ask 16, you really have to be in perfect order. And that is certainly not the case here.

The tour was very nice. The rest was a bit disappointing. I had expected more attributes that were on display, but it was mainly films and sound files that you could listen to and watch. not to be repeated

This is a very nice museum, probably the most interactive one I've ever seen. There is a lot to see and do, we didn't even have time to do everything during our visit. Understanding Dutch is severely recommended, as I don't think any of the media clips are available in English. Bring the kids!

Really fun and interactive museum. Really nice to see the history of television and radio, but also having the opportunity to participate and explore things yourself.
Great place to go with kids as well.
Nice future that you can get your videos and recordings sent to you by email after you've visited.

Nice museum, also for young children.
Prices in the museum shop and restaurant are outrageously high. The restaurant is also dirty, as are the plates and glasses.

You can expect more surprise for the money you pay. Now a "collection" that makes sense with a YouTube exhibition next to it that represents nothing. Too bad, I expected more surprises in old material.

Fun for young and old! Lots to see from TV programs from the past and especially a lot for the children to do. Watch movies, make, Klokhuis time lab. Etc. At home, or at the top of the museum, you can review everything you've made. Just a pity that not everything was on the personal page when returning home. Had a nice day!

Very nice museum, where there is plenty to do and see, and you can also do things yourself, such as presenting the news and reading the text of the autocue. In addition, there are all sorts of nostalgic things to see (eg old devices that have to do with image and sound). There is also a nice food and drink, and a nice store where you can buy all sorts of souvenirs and other stuff, the prices are also very bad.

We have been here to visit the Top2000 cafe. Very successful and definitely recommended. The visit to Sound & Vision itself was just as successful. A nice representation of Dutch radio and television history.

A special museum near the mediaplein in Hilversum where the entire history of radio and TV passes.
When you are inside you get a ring with a chip that you can activate by entering your details, after which you can look at your leisure at home.
Unfortunately it was very busy that day, partly due to the autumn holidays.
So many activities were occupied.
Nevertheless a nice day in the domain of radio and TV.

Very nice museum. To have seen it once. It is also difficult to find out exactly what you have to do with some assignments. This means you have to try again a number of times. Furthermore, I personally found the songs a bit long at Top of the Pops.

Museum is starting to date. Far too many stops to do things with your ring. If it is busy, there is hardly anything to come by. And those headphones are pretty unsanitary. You put the sweat of your pastor on the ears. It is educational for children.
