Nazareth Living Care Center Review

Amazing care was provided for my mother in law. Staff was extremely attentive and the receptionist went above and beyond to make sure we were at ease during these difficult times.

Had a family member stay recently after looking into the options in the El Paso area. Read reviews of all but I had to determine on my own what was based off of emotion and what seemed practical. I m very happy with experience my family member received. What stood out the most was the length in which the staff was willing to go to to make him comfortable, listen to concerns, ask relevant questions, and ease his mind (as well as mine). The facility was clean and, took into great concern control measures to prevent the spread of Covid. I received no complaints about the food at all (surprisingly since he is such a picky eater), or the bathing that was required. He was treated with the same respect whether I was there or not; I was very pleased with this. Only had one issue at one time when I was trying to reach him ( it was a little late in all honesty). To my surprise I received a phone call the same day from a director/administrator (can t remember the name) in regards to this after I left a very civil/easy voicemail. I was extremely happy that someone cared enough to return the call even though I didn t ask for it. The issue was explained and plan of action was put into place that prevented any additional issues. A professional and positive environment, with a very caring staff.

My grandpa was not thrilled about needing rehab after his fall but has nothing but great things to say about the care and food. I'm grateful to have such caring staff taking care of my grandpa.

My mother is presently at the center. The help and attentiveness from the nurses and staff is very good. I feel comfortable that my mother is well cared for.

This place is NOT for families and loved ones. I flew in from out of state to see my grandmother who broke her hip and was having panic attacks because of her dementia and the new environment. These people would not answer the phone half the time. When they did they told me to call back because the visitation scheduler wasn't there yet. I called back and the visitation scheduler first claimed to not be able to schedule on the weekends then changed her story and said they were booked up. I asked to speak to the administaror and was told they don't work weekends. As an administrator myself I told them that an administrator should always be on call. I left my name and number with 2 different people and this is day 3 and no one has called me. Not sure if the administrator is ignoring me or if these people didn't even bother to tell the administrator. I was going to request a special circumstance exception due to flying in from out of state for the weekend. Then my grandma had one of her panic attacks and instead of calling me, I left my number twice, they said the administrator, who has yet to call me, had advised them to tell the next relative that called to get there quickly. So an exception was made but not for me. Do not send your loved one here. They are limiting visitation not per patient but for the entire facility so your loved one may be alone for days until an appointment opens.

The personnel here is very helpful and thorough. Every question I had was answered and the staff was very friendly. Especially during this difficult time, it is hard pressed to find people that actually care about your concerns. It was refreshing to find that here.

Horrible experience with the staff and nurse care. Spent several weeks there with complaints daily on service, support and updates. Could not engage with the nurse and typically didn't answer the phone or return phone calls. The nurse even refused to share updates and progress with immediate family members including the husband. Attempted to place several complaints with the management but never received call backs to follow up on complaints. Would not recommend this facility for any age and healthcare needs.

I ve been looking for a place for my mother. I spoke with the young lady at the front desk. She was very informative, kind, helpful. Thank you so much.

My grandma was a patient here a couple weeks ago and the staff was wonderful. From the front desk to nursing staff, overall very attentive and accommodating. My grandma felt very lonely due to us not being able to go visit her. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we stayed connected at all times; from window visits to FaceTime calls. Overall was very pleased with her stay.

Thank you to everyone at Nazareth! Great food, very clean, excellent management, nurses/cnas are kind, and therapists very professional. The staff truly left an impression on my mom; she is still asking about them!
