Almost every claim submitted requires multiple steps of manual back & forth "substantiation" and they will lock out your account so that you cannot use it in the meantime. They do a poor job of explaining how to resolve claim substantiation issues.
I would walk away if this was my own decision, but my company have elected to use them. My HR department will get my input.
This company makes the FSA process extremely strenuous. I agree with the other reviews, the majority of my claims are initially denied asking for more documentation. I always end up having to call because they aren't specific as to what it is they need. This is my pretax money! it's almost as if they bank on making it tough so that they can pocket my money that doesn't get spent at the end of the period. I've worked with two other FSA companies with prior employers and they were a breeze compared to Navia.
Great customer service team. However, I was paying for my COBRA service for 4 months and my insurer said they had cancelled my service. They were able to get it figured out, but it was a headache and seems like a big miss on their end.
Every time I have needed help with anything, the customer service agents go above and beyond. They are always pleasant, ready to help you and will also offer you assistance in other ways. I cannot say enough good things about Navia.

I submitted a claim 15 days ago. After 11 days, it was finally approved and now I just have to wait for my money (direct deposit). Every time I call, I'm given another run around story about why I don't have my money yet. I have a feeling this is going to be a VERY long year...
It is easy to find out if your claim is approved. Reimbursements of expenses are easy, no long process.
I submitted a year's worth of receipts for repayment and within 10 days, the money was deposited into my account. If you have the receipts and follow the rules they ask you to, the repayment comes quickly.
I am very greatful for this benefit since I am able to use the funds in my account with the provided debit card!
No matter what proof you give them, they deny the claim. Then you have to waste hours until they finally agree, that they had what they needed in the first place.

I can't even get them to pay what my insurance didn't pay for my glasses I got paid last year this year they say it's not covered benefit but my work paid for their share I haven't claimed anything out of my $1800 I would have thought they would have paid the rest of my glasses

This is a great benefit. Although, we wish we could add more funds to our card, especially for people with chronic health issues, like my wife. The funds are always used by August leaving the rest of the year paid out of pocket. We would love to see the highest amount increased to $5,000. This card gives us piece of mind that all of our medical will definitely be covered. Great benefit. We highly recommend. Thank you for this awesome benefit.
Each time I have had to place a call to Navia or send in documentation they have been very professional and friendly. They are there to assist and provide so many tools online that are easy to use that getting questions answered is easy and no stress. Also they seem to offer more benefits than previous fsa companies I have been involved with as well.
I've been working for Navia for 2.5 years, and I absolutely love this company. Not only is it a fun company to work for, but I also have a Flexible Spending Account, that is quick and easy to use!
Very happy with service except with the last two or three submissions. I received denials but didn t get a reason. I have no way to contact staff to correct my submission; it s like try and try again. If I could get a customer service to call, that would be great. Otherwise, Navia is a superior HRA company.

Navia replaced a previous vendor my employer was using, and the difference is night & day! Its so easy to work with Navia and they recognize obvious medical expenses. The previous vendor would make you provide receipts for prescriptions! Love this company!!

Worst company experience in terms of timeliness, customer service, and getting things right. They deny claims that are clearly correct because they cannot read properly. Will strongly convince my company to move away from these guys. No clue how or why they are still in business.
Navia has been great to work with! It is easy to understand and use my Flexible Savings Account to cover medical expenses through the year. I also appreciate that they cover some items that my insurance won't. I would (and do) recommend this service to colleagues!
