Lots of extra "wait time" when getting a new prescription. Waiting on 1 script for over an hour with no relief in sight... One window open & a room full of waiting people. Feels like I'm at the Dvy

Worst pharmacy ever!!!! Staff is rude and disrespectful!! I have been to this pharmacy 3 times now and and only once was I able to have my sons prescription filled. Either they dont have it or " they can't read the prescription ".
This clinic is run so poorly and inefficiently it should be shut down. Commanding Officer, Captain Martha Cutshall needs to be fired and investigated by the Inspector General for her questionable practices and the way that she operates the clinic. Morale is so low amongst the sailors and civilians that work there and it is reflected in the poor patient interactions and quality of service.
I've spent a good deal of time at Naval Hospitals/Clinics and this one is certainly the worst in customer service, helpfulness, responsiveness, and overall experience.
Getting someone to answer the phone is nearly impossible. When they do answer, you're often forwarded to a different department that doesn't answer. In the clinic, the various sections are highly stovepiped and are generally unable to give you any information outside of their immediate desk/section. It's also tough to get an appointment for various services sooner than 3-6 weeks. There's a lot of room for improvement here.
Went here and they told me that I have flea bites, turns out it was poison ivy. Good thing I didn't take the medicine for scabies that they gave me for the flea bites. Horrible!!!
How government special for Quantico clinic facilities is wasted in unprofessional employment!. Never have appointment, I was call to a Gold team because I have bad health issue , they don t have appointment they send me to a gold team to check in them if they have any open the reception lady from blue team was so mad of me focus argument in why I call her went gold team need to check in her book if they have appointment open , they scheduled me emergency appointment for the same day a hour before I have to show up they call me the doctor dont come today to work ! I was in damn pain , they don t have any empathy who is in another side of the phone . I will be report her today for sure !
Apparently everything at the clinic is now closed on Friday for training. It might be nice if the active duty manning the desks to at least look like they are training. Sitting around taking about weekend plans or reading a book doesn t send the best image.
I came with a possibly broken left hand. Told them my husband had pushed that bone so far back and I heard it pop and my entire hand was swollen, black and blue.
"Maybe you punched something huh? "
"Wow. That's a pretty good guess. Except I'm right handed and I already told you what happened."
Another- When I was pregnant I was told repeatedly how far along I was. I told the head GYNO Dr her math was wrong. I had to SLOWLY explain to her how math works with ovulation. Sonogram came back... I was right.
I don t even do reviews and I had to do one today. The customer service is terrible and this is the only place that I ve ever had my appointment lost in the system or the system was down three times in a row. Three times in a row throughout a whole month that I ve physically made an appointment , had it confirmed, time and all, to show up and or be told it never happened , or wasn t in the system. The people at the front desk or take the calls for appointments are really rude that It doesn t even feel professional.
Can t really figure out how to get medication from them in a timely manner. My doctor from Ft. Belvoir electronically sent a prescription to the Quantico Pharmacy. I called after about four work days and they told me they would call me when it was filled for pickup thru the drive up. I m sure glad I called rather than expect them to fill it when it was sent. Especially these days where you can t just sit inside and wait.
I don t know what happened to this place. It was decent a few years ago but has just gotten worst over the years. The staff used to be patient and kind and is now rude and unhelpful with the expectation of very few. Deployment health is the worst out of all of them and it feels like they go out of their way to make life harder. The worst part is that majority of the people there to help heal you are very pretentious and will treat you like you re crazy when you ask for help with anything worst than a cold or rolled ankle.
My experiences over the past two years stationed at Quantio: -Wait 2+ hours for a single pill prescription - Check. -Change PCM every couple of months - Check. -Have to call 3+ different phone numbers to get the right department with no call forwarding - Check. -Rude front desk staff at Deployment Health - Check. -Have to wait months for an open appointment - Check.
At least the dental clinic is usually efficient, once you get an appointment.
The staff is always friendly and professional. Let's remember, we all have our priorities and first it is always our active duty personnel. This should not be a place of complaining when it takes some time to get our prescriptions. As retirees, we were once at the front of the line of the retirees before us. Take your best book to pass the time. If you don't have one then I suggest start reading.
Doesn t matter if you show up 30min early to your appointment, you ll still get taken back minimum 30min PAST your scheduled time. Sometimes even almost an hour later, then you get to wait another 20-30min in the exam room. Get it together.
Pharmacy is so-so. Good PCM though. Needed an urgent medication and with the power outage it's taking them 5 days to fill it... Totally can't control the power outage, but I'm sure it shouldn't take that long to catch up.
Every single experience I have had at the Quantico medical center has been top notch. The patience and the stellar care, by pharmacy, medical staff and doctors, was seen every single time. Every phone call was met with polite, knowledge staff, who took their time. They listen, they are non judgmental, they make sure you feel heard. You get the general feeling they truly care about your health and the outcome of your condition. I only wish they had more medical equipment and the ability to do more in depth care. They would be amazing at that.
The slowest pharmacy in the entire United States. Over two hours every single time you have to get a prescription filled, even when there are almost no people waiting.
This is the worst Military Clinic I have dealt. I think the personnel need a customer service training. Nurses and Pharmacist are rude. They spent their time talking to their co workers than taking care of the customers. I m not sure if the leaders know what s happening or could care less. The supposed to be training every week should focus on how can they can make this clinic a better friendly atmosphere or customer service oriented focus.
Absolute trash. Deployment health is rude, disrespectful, and discourteous. Unfortunate that this place is a single point of failure since the majority of reviews are one star and the CO hasn t done anything to rectify this unprofessional unit. If I could give zero stars I would...
Don't plan on getting an appointment anything sooner than 3-4 weeks out. If you are sick, you are better off going to urgent care because they won't be able to see you at Quantico.
Absolutely amazing staff the atmosphere was very relaxing didn't go to this Health Dental Facility but knew some people who are familiar with this shop great job!
This clinic is by far the most unsat place pertaining to any pressing matters. The staff is polite but they do not seem to understand the necessity of urgency and the realization that they are not the only organization on MCB Quantico that has a mission to accomplish.
The lengths you have to go to just to get an appointment here is mind blowingingly inefficient. You have to call, speak with someone who will leave a note for a nurse, who will then call you back to make the appointment. Makes ZERO sense.
Have you ever waited for over an hour on the phone, only to get hung up on twice? Call back and then deal with the rudest personnel possible? Look no further than this joint.
Also, your medicine isn't ready yet even though you placed it over a week ago... Go to Belvior or Bethesda.. NHCQ gets a majority of scripts from there anyway. Guaranteed the 2 hour drive + 30 minute wait in Bethesda will be shorter than Quantico.
Make sure you double check what they do. Also keep the name and date when you called. Lately had medicine not processed like they said they were going to do. On some occasions they didnt even call to inform meds were ready for pick up. This has also happened with my wife medicine. Lets put personnel back in the pharmacy to provide the right customer service.
I have never dealt with customer service this bad in my entire career. The Doctors their are overall great. The behavioral health is without a doubt top-notch; However, the Nurses that greet you or pick up the phone when you call are the worst. I have had multiple nurses hangup on me because I accidentally called the wrong section. I am serious, when you call the wrong section they hang up on you without telling you who to call. When you are trying to reach the Pharmacy, instead of them having a proper voicemail or call waiting, you get disconnected. I truly feel bad for the Corpsman and the Doctors that work their because they really do care. I think they need to get rid of the civilian employees or do some much needed training.
Pharmacy staff if rude and has a sense of entitlement. I ve been to many installations and have never been treated so rudely by the civilian staff. I had 2 prescriptions that took over an hour to obtain. Shame on the staff that do not have a care in the world. I will avoid this place at all cost.
