Some amazing hikes!! I wish I would have hiked off...
Some amazing hikes!! I wish I would have hiked off of highway 120 more though and a little less in Yosemite valley.
Some amazing hikes!! I wish I would have hiked off of highway 120 more though and a little less in Yosemite valley.
Needs no description! Some tips for first time travelers
- Arrive as early as possible in the valley as the parking spots get filled very quickly.
- Consider parking near camp 4 since it is the sweet spot for getting to the popular attractions.
- Take plenty of water with you. Some hikes do not have water filling stations.
The nature and views are breathtaking! I would recommend doing several trails! When you visit Yosemite with an rv or tent you have to book a site at a campsite or rvpark long in advance. We did not do that and had trouble finding one.
Lived in California for 15 years. Finally made the pilgrimage to Yosemite and it was everything I dreamed of and more! Wish I could spend more time exploring the back trails, hiking to the valley rim and/or camping but, even in a few days with two small kids, we saw amazing sights and had an amazing time.
The place is beautiful! Hope to go back again one day.
I loved this place , I got spot close to the river , and at night time I fall sleep like a baby , now I planning my next trip to it .
Amazing amazing AMAZING!, My gym crew hiked clouds rest.. The trail was super hard for me but so worth it. It's beautiful! And the view from the summit is like no other!
All must visit this beautiful place before one dies. Loved the trek the place & the people here.
This place is awesome!!! Do your homework as there is so much to see and do, especially as the seasons change, so have a plan.
This national park is stunning. Yosemite is a must see national park on everybody's bucket list. The scenery is incredibly and the waterfalls are amazing.
It was very beautiful. It is an amazing place. There are beautiful mountains and waterfalls there. Beautiful for a day out with your family.
Beautiful! Need several days to visit most of the park and surrounding sites for sure, lots of hiking and plenty of low to no incline trails for an easy walk to several popular sites.
Amazing how small you can feel standing in the valley floor
Words cannot describe the feeling of being at Yosemite National Park, but here are some pictures to help.
Could be one of the most incredible nature places that is accessible by car
This park is huge! One day not enough. Also plan ahead and get a reservation to get in. The wait at the gate takes a little while and I saw people get turned away. We were here for two days and will never forget it. Everything is picturesque. Everything. Most of the major attractions are at in Yosemite valley which is approximately 30 minutes away from any entrance. We wanted to camp here but everything was booked. Plan ahead. That being said, this place should be on everyone s bucket list
I shouldn't need to convince or review this magnificent of a location. So just go and experience the beauty yourself.
Took the scenic drive through the park and while it isn t my favorite of the NPs I ve seen so far it was beautiful. TONS OF PEOPLE. Parking in many of the roadside areas was difficult and we were there in winter so be prepared. Bathrooms weren t in great shape but that comes with the crowds.
It's just lovely any time I go. Waterfalls, lakes, meadows and wildlife. Great for short hikes or backpacking in the back country.
Ok, Yosemite National Park is indeed beautiful, but it has become too crowded to be enjoyable.
Among other hikes, my wife, our kid and I did the Mist Trail, which is, by itself, absolutely gorgeous. On the way up there were already loads of people, but on the way back it got so packed that it wasn't only annoying to be standing in lines, it even got dangerous as some people got impatient and mad pushing people to go faster and/or jeopardizing the safety of others by passing them during tiny sections of the trail with drop-offs next to you. It kind of ruined parts of the experience for us.
I'd suggest introducing a permit system to guarantee that people can still enjoy their stay in Yosemite.
So much to do and see, there's not enough time to experience it all in one trip. We can't wait to go back.
One of the most beautiful places I ve ever been to. I went on different hikes and it was always very beautiful. Take a look at the mountains during sunset or sunrise, breathtaking.
It's an amazing national Park and is now my favorite.
Busy but worth it to take in the breathtaking scenery
Amazing! We could not get enough of the beautiful sights and trails. I was awestruck from the moment we arrived to the time we left. I cannot wait to go back!
It's my first time visiting Yosemite and I totally fallen in love with here. Big recommend to get here early, then you can avoid crowd and find the parking easier. There are lots of waterfall, cliff, lake. Though it takes about 3-4 hours to get there, but it is truly worth to visit!
Everything about Yosemite is special - the vertical granite monoliths rising straight up out of the ground, the waterfalls, the wildlife, the big trees, etc, etc. It s impossible to improve upon Muir s assessment: No temple made with hands can compare with Yosemite.
We loved Yosemite, but hate the truck food (taco go); $17 for 3 tacos, That were not real tacos, cero stars to them. :(
The best view ever! It is a powerful place full of beauty, amazing to do hiking and to enjoy the nature !!
I'd give Yosemite 1,000 out of 5 stars if possible! A truly transcendental place - no matter how much time you spend here, it's not enough. One of the most beautiful places on Earth!
The Valley is just too crowded to enjoy. Too many cars, no place to stop. It is beautiful though, magnificent. The trails are worthwhile and you can find some space. The trees are amazing.
Second time here!
Still amazed on how beautiful God's creations are!
Must be included on your trip to USA!
Went to Clark Point and we're blown out by the amazing views!
glamping under the stars was amazing! Breath taking views after a nice hike, words can just not describe it, you need to experience it yourself.
The giant walls in Yosemite Valley are amazing! There so many hikes. You can camp or stay in a lodge. There are animals like bears that you can throughout the park. Yosemite is beautiful and I recommend going there for your next vacation.
An excellent park that should be a must visit for everyone. The entrance fee gets you in for multiple days. There are bathrooms throughout the park and lots of places to park for your day hikes. Cannot recommend visiting Yosemite enough!
Visit this place, its a must, so much to do, so much to see, beautiful scenery everywhere. The hiking trails carry you all throughout the park and are definitely for those able bodied. This park is big, beautiful and full of life with many wildlife and bears around
Beautiful place....but soooooo many people traffic was bad, also coulding see much cause all the fires in the summer in California.....definitely was much better 15years ago...I felt like I was in a blend of china town/Tijuana....but in the woods.. .
Time to pick a new state to visit.
One of the most beautiful parks I've ever been to. Absolutely amazing. If you go for just a day, bring swimwear. Mirror lake trail has a nice spot to play in the water and relax.
Totally loved the plac. Huge monolithic granite mountains , water falls and scenic valleys . Be sure to be in good shape before hiking the park. There is a good elevation gain that tires you out. Glacier point was absolutely lovely.
The park is usually over crowded.
Amazing and gorgeous park with incredible history. Rent a bike, take a ride, you will see a lot in a short time.
Amazing views. Just try to get a parking spot in time. Long lines everywhere, but it is definitely worth a wait.
Beautiful place with many nature wonders. Very organized hikes and well maintained services facilities.
One of the best National Parks I have visited. Scenery is amazing!
Breathtakingly Beautiful. Spend a week here if you can. Take good hiking shoes and reusable water bottles and cross it off your bucket list. Rent bikes and ride to mirror lake much better than hiking. Plan 6 hours for this bike trip.
Yosemite national park has been in great interest to many people who love to hike
Yosemite Park it s beautiful. I strongly recommend to all the family
Yosemite is a wonderful gift to us by Mother Nature. If you have the opportunity to go, would highly recommend to visit!
If there is one place that I would live rest of my life other than home. This should be it. No words!!!!!!
One of the Top Ten places in America to see - plan to stay a few days to really enjoy your visit to this Park.
There is no other park like it. Visit the valley, but also visit the high country for a little less insane crowds. Hike Four Mile Trail and then down Panorama Trail for the best views of all the famous sights.
One of the most striking and beautiful places on earth.
Stayed at the housekeeping camp this trip. Even though it was smoky from the fires, we still had a great time. Truly amazing place.
Everything you expect it to be, such a beautiful, stunning place. WE EVEN SAW A BEAR! (From far haha)
Gorgeous place! Boulders, rivers, waterfalls, trails...No cell service though.
All I can say is wow great place love this place especially for camping
Is an awesome park! Seen one bear and had fun hiking.
Really big and beautiful place!!! I would recommend the taking the long trail to the upper falls! It is a long one but worth it!!!
Great view like the Paradise, sometimes,we'll hope can from sullen city, sings, go to this heavens land.
Very impressive, one of a top places to visit in US. Camping there is awesome, many campsites in different areas, however may be super busy during the peak season. I d recommend to book 6-7 months in advance. Regarding the weather and best time to visit - I was there last year in the end of May and it was very cold, keep in mind that most beautiful places and roads may be closed until the June!
INCREDIBLE! We had the benefit of visiting during COVID, and that helped tremendously! The haze from the fires and then the big one breaking out the day before we left were drawbacks but even though it didn't look it's best it was well worth it!
One of the most dramatic scenery you'll see in a National Park. Just as raw and majestic as Yellowstone!!
Blown away about how amazing this place is. You can hang out, camp or day hike around the valley or go out in the epic Backcountry for miles. Can't wait to return!
Wordless. A gorgeous national park. Watch out for bad signal if you choose to live in the the park. Usually there are no signal.
The most beautiful park I've been in my life. This is a huge park with many waterfalls and nice hikes.
There are many campings and hotels.
I couldn't beleave, but there are many stores inside the park and many options of restaurants like Starbucks.
Best national park in the United States! Truly, a MUST SEE!
Wonderful place, that one could easily spend weeks exploring!
Who could leave a bad review for this place? It is a must see for anyone visiting the area. There s lots of great walks and lots of places you can drive to as well. The crowds can get a little overwhelming so make sure to get in early to get a park.
I only spent one day and I regret the most. I wanna come back and explore the park for at least three days. Beautiful, incredible, amazing, delightful!
Heads up, a reservation is required to enter the park during this time. We had no idea, and came all the way from Arizona only to be turned away. Super disappointed. Do your research and plan appropriately.
A great place to make unforgettable memories and just be free to nature. We went in November, which was a little chilly but the colors were beautiful and there was significantly less people. At times it felt like we were on our own.
Beautiful nature and well maintained park. Great routes for rock climbing
Splendid ! Soothing ! Mind blowing experience !
Spend a few days there and you will experience your soul dissolves into the nature taking you to the vibes of eternity.
Caution :
1) You will not have mobile network coverage in most of the places.
2) Bears !! Do not keep any food items in tent or car if you are spending night inside the park !
3) No proper fencing in many dangerous edges - take care if yourself and do not go for adventures if you are not a pro..
4) Toilets near to the trail are not non-flushable and not very clean.. So better get prepared!
5) Sun set is awesome ! Try to hand out during that time in a place you get an open view of the dawn.
Stars. Wild lands. The joy of being in the queen of the parks. Our visit was during the COVID modified opening and earnestly having been here this time of year in the past-- this is how the park is meant to be experienced-- minimal cars and open trails.
Also easier to take pictures without light domes being created by cars driving at all hours.
Very peaceful place.
Very Vest place for hiking with friends!
