What spectacular views! I visited Yosemite in June. Seems a perfect time for a visit since the temperatures are not very high and the falls are at their best peak.
You stole my heart, Yosemite!

You stole my heart, Yosemite!
Don't need to try to put it into words, nature at its best.
Beautiful, serene...yes there was a fire recently amd the waterfalls were dry (only 3 were not - but major one was) but thats part of nature...its 1hour drive from entering park to parking but there are places to stay inside...just book ahead as it can get really busy...we went on veterens day and it was free so that was a definite plus (wouldve cost almost $40 for a small car)...gift shop was nice and people at help desk were accomidating
Awesomeness totally great. I can t wait to do a solo hike there next year.
There's hard to find a word to describe this place. go to glacier point if you go. And stop to talk to staff they are the friendliest people on earth and I understand why.
The most incredible park in the national park system! Not as big as Yellowstone or as grand as the Grand Canyon, but the valley has so much packed together in one spot every picture is epic, every walk breathtaking, and most hikes reasonable length. Whatever you do... get here
Another wonderful place to visit.....if you are there don't miss the Mariposa Grove....largest trees are there.
I've been on vacation for two weeks and have visited 8 National Parks so far in the past 14 days and this is the only park that told me I had to go home because I didn't make reservations. No other park is doing this in the response of covid19. It should be first come, first serve. And let people in as people eventually leave. At least that way people can still get in after making a 4 hour drive there. VERY DISAPPOINTED in their management at this National Park. Will not make the effort to visit this location. Not going to financially support a place with poor management. Not to mention, you cannot use your annual National Park pass to make reservations, which means you will have to pay cash only even if you have already paid for an annual pass. The put profits over the enjoyment of people is the real reason it is not first come first serve.
One of my favorite places in the whole world. A challenge for every skill level.
Amazing to see these Giants and so grateful that we did not lose more of them to the fire
Couldn t get enough of this incredible park. Can t wait to come again!
Do I even have to write anything here? Like most National Parks, Yosemite is immensely beautiful and a short drive from LA. Great hiking, views and plenty to do that would cover one week comfortably.
Best to get here early in the morning to avoid high amounts of visitors! The river was great to cool off in after a long hike.
A must visit place if you are in West Coast. Appropriately planned, clean and if planned, you will find plenty of hotel options. If you have a van, you are King as there are a lot of free and paid parkings where you can park, cook and enjoy the Sky.

Love this place! Amazing views! I always end up making friends out on the trails. People are just so cool.
Absolutely beautiful place to spend a day or two... great trails and amazing views
Must be seen in real life. Looking at photos or videos can not do this little piece of paradise justice.
Arrives early and parked at home base. Shuttles are the way to go! Like the ranger said- the most dangerous thing in the park are people. There certainly are more of them than at most other parks, but we all had a blast hiking and enjoying the views. Just stunning.
Lower you, just make sure you make reservations just to get into the park!
Breathtaking views of the half dome, beautiful valley views and also has stunning high and low waterfalls. This place is packed so you ll want to arrive early to get food views and parking. You can drive around to different trails and view points.
This has to be one of the best places on earth.
If you haven't seen Yosemite yet then you need to revaluate your life.
Wonderful place to hike and be outside. Lots fun accommodations. Wild life is everywhere.
Disneyland for nature lovers. Four mile trail and John Muir trails were absolutely breathtaking with almost no one in sight!
I will definetly be visiting this place again. Loved every moment we spent in the park. The waterfalls, the beautiful views, the atmosphere where all so worth it. Did not manage to do the half Dome, but rest assured I'll be back and more prepared to do it.
The Crown Jewel of California. Yosemite national Park. Find a plethora of views every time you visit, you'll find dozens of new ones to amaze each time. My family has been going there for over the last 50 years. Every time I go I found a new gem of a view. Here are some new ones this trip mid June 2019
Last outing with our Lil Sheba, she loved the fresh air. And me carrying her thought the park
The first time we've been here was 2016 on oir 7 day trip from South to North California and since then we haven't stopped visiting this place at least 5 times a year it's worth it.
Even if just driving through for the day it is a bucket list item!
Don't miss a chance to see!
8/17/20 You need to have a reservation to be able to get in. Go to their website and get a day pass. Or you gonna be like me who they turn away. What a waste of drive. I drove for 3 hours and a half.
Option 2... I went to evergreen down the street and hike on Carlon Falls.
Yosemite is an absolute must even if you don't normally like the outdoors. The facilities are clean and well maintained especially in consideration of how much they are used. Park staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The scenery is More
Natural paradise, even if crowded because of peak season you don t even realize. Perfect to enjoy alone or with friends and family
The views here are spectacular but it was so incredibly crowded! It felt like I was at Disneyland not camping.
Beautiful national park with some easy scenic hikes and some tough ones too. Just have to keep in mind certain trails and roads are closed during certain times of the year
I have been to 7 national parks and this is probably my favorite one of them all so far!!! Just so beautiful and breathe taking!!!
Beautiful, and great views and good service from Rangers and staff
Highly recommended place for trail lovers and truckers. Alot of placed to truck and relax. Plenty of trails. Well maintained and huge
One of the greatest wonders of the word. A must see. We don't live very far away, so when we get the chance to visit this park , we go. It is amazing that people live in California have never been there ,they don't know what they are missing. It is a must see.
I hiked with my wife, brother, cousins, and nephews and nice. It is breathtaking and worth a workout hiking to the top; however, finding a parking spot is a nightmare although it s charged $35 per car but parking is not guaranteed. It took us almost 2 hours to get a parking spot and we had to take free shuttle to the falls.
Be warned - because there are 0 SIGNS ON 120 ON THE WAY UP THERE. If you do not have a reservation you made online, they will not let you drive through. Even if you are not there to see the park, just drive one of the only routes going over the Sierra Nevadas. There is also nothing mentioned on google, I wonded how many people are inconvenienced by the rude unhelpful asshats working the gate
Simply beautiful. You got to see this place in person. Stayed 4 days traveling the area & hiking inside Yosemite NP with the family, then drove to Sequoia NP. We traveled during the week and parking wasn t as bad as it is on the weekends, but it s still busy. No phone service inside the park and miles outside. Keep this in mind.
Go see these places, no regrets!
Such a beautiful park! Could easily spend a week or more here hiking and exploring
Such a monumental place. Plenty of resources available at the information centers and available on their website. Food available in the park, and weeks worth of things to do. Wish we'd had longer but certainly going to be return trips later, absolutely magical! Take care to leave no trace!
Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places on Earth! From the Sequoia redwoods to waterfalls the beautiful lakes to mountain tops dot-dot. Yosemite has it all!
Most beautiful nature views consisting of steep mountains and magnificent waterfalls. Surprisingly the vast network of roads meandering through the park are not steep though winding. I was scared of the thought of heights here, but the fact that the roads are not steep made it very comfortable for me as a passenger. I don't feel safe doing the driving. Multiple trails of varying difficulty levels; definitely worth taking advantage of. Fist time visiting. So glad I was convinced of taking the trip.
Absolutely amazing visit for Firefalls, unfortunately because of the drought just firewall. It was still a great time to come and very enjoyable. Definitely come during the week to avoid weekend rush.
If you have a fear of driving on the edge of a mountain beware. But the trip is wort it. Awesome sights waterfalls beaches tall trees and huge rocks
No world's to describe this place.
Simply great..wonderful..amazing
It is a treasure....
Fantastic place well worth a visit, one word of advice get there early it gets very busy specially around the visitors centre but it's definitely worth it.
About a two-hour drive from Tracy is one of the country s most spectacular protected nature areas, Yosemite National Park.
Whether you re seeking adventure or simply want to take a scenic drive with some amazing photo ops, Yosemite is the perfect destination for a day trip from Tracy.
The serene, almost untouched nature areas combined with higher elevations make it the perfect getaway for escaping the crowds and the heat.
Within this park, which is situated in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, you ll witness spectacular scenes, including granite mountains, waterfalls, giant sequoia trees, and the iconic cliffs of El Capitan.
Some of the outdoor activities you can participate in include fishing, rock climbing, and hiking. Numerous trails are yours for the taking, such as Yosemite Falls, Mirror Lake, Half Dome, and Mist Trail. There are several campgrounds in the park.
The village of Yosemite is home to many shops, restaurants, lounges, hotels, a gallery, and the Yosemite Museum, where you can learn more about the history of the area.
The restrooms here are not well maintained. Otherwise an excellent place to Relax. Visit once and you will be thrilled
I love Yosemite weather summer or winter it's a great place to visit the scenery is great bring the family enjoy the fresh air and take him to scenery. You should visit Yosemite at least once in your lifetime
Yosemite is simply a magical place to visit at any time of the year. Of all the National Parks this is one of the top ones to see. You will also find all or most the needs within the valley suck as laundry, restaurants, showers and even bars.
Great magnificent views and sights. Also appreciated that there's a store and amenities available. Travelled during COVID so there were not a lot of people too. The drive in was quite long. Maybe just me or the time of year perhaps, but I liked Zion better.
You just have to see it yourself. It's so beautiful and amazing!! Highly recommended!
Yosemite is my favorite National park. Breathtaking views everywhere! I have been to Yosemite in different seasons and I enjoyed them all. If you like to see the waterfalls in full flow I recommend visiting in June. There are so many great hiking trails. Read books about Yosemite, study hiking trails, maps and stay at least 3 to 4 nights. I have seen many people who had come to Yosemite for one night and all of them wished they had stayed longer. Yosemite Village is very convenient with restaurants, stores, bookstores galleries and even a post office. Curry village has great pizzeria. Parking can be challenging on the weekends so staying in weekdays will give you more time to explore the park.
Yosemite is a natural treasure, with more stunning vistas than I have seen in any other national park. Less visible wildlife than Yellowstone. If you really want to get out in wilderness and be reminded how beautiful the planet is, Yosemite is the place to go.
Breathtaking views! When we went water falls were lovely. The weather was nice, chilly as the sunset. Had a lovely time.
God's creation is so awe-inspiring. I'm so thankful that this place is being preserved so well. Love seeing all the beauty our wonderful country has to offer.
My favorite National Park so far. The Mist Trail to Nevada Falls is one of my all time favorite and rewarding hikes. I ve tried to do Half Dome but got turned away at the subdome because of rain. One day, Half Dome, one day. There is just so much beauty at this park.
Great beautiful outdoor nature at it's finest! In the valleys it's extremely busy but higher up in elevations it's not as bad and great weather!
Great park. Gets very busy even in early May when I was there. Get up early and get into the park by 7am you will not regret it. Pick a place to park by Yosemite Falls especially if you are there in May like I was, the falls at full spring flow are one of the most amazing things I ve ever seen. I can t imagine Yosemite being nearly as amazing without seeing them.
This place is so beautiful. It almost seems too good to be true. There are so many rivers and creeks for children to play in and the hike to the lower yosemite falls is so easy anyone could do it. You can rent little boat rafts and paddle down the river and the food here is amazing. There is a one mile tunnel that you go in to get to the valley and the minute you come out of the tunnel there is the most breathtaking view. It has a view of the half dome and a waterfall with all the scenery. Definitely a 10/10 experience overall.
A beautiful National Park to see more of God s Creation.
Amazing. Can't go wrong with being in God's artistic creation.
The shuttle service is fantastic... The views were ok too
Yosemite National Park is trully a beautiful park, iv spent a month here but you don't need a month to experience a transcendent moment like so many of us have. Service isn't great if you don't have Verizon
Yosemite is one of the best national parks in the country! Every trail we took ended with an amazing view. I would definitely recommend starting your home early to avoid the hotter afternoons and the crowds that increase as the day goes on. Camping closer to the trails you want to hike is ideal because parking fills up early on.
A must do if in the West coast of the USA. We had young children so didn t manage to do as much hiking as we would like but it was still amazing place to visit. Worth visiting the top and the valley
It is a beautiful National Park with amazing views from all over. There are many treks one can go for according to their skill level. It is a home to many species of birds.
The granite rock mountains are wonderful and grand. The main tourist area gives a lot of views but the rest of the forest is even beautiful with blue lakes in between grey rocks.
One of the most beautiful places that I've ever visited. The falls are picturesque as well as the mountains, flowing rivers, and scenic drive to Yosemite National Park. There is a definate peace, tranquility, and many places to rest and absorb the magnificent beauty of the trees and land. This park is an absolute must for individuals and families to experience.
Finally, visitors must be cautious and respect the barriers on the premises. People are in such awe of the beauty that they take risks by getting to close to cliffs to take selfies or other photos, walk, climb, or sit in unstable areas. This can be extremely unsafe.
It's Yosemite. It's amazing. Life-changing even. Absolutely must visit
Parking is a nightmare!!!. They let you pay for entrance even though they know there is absolutely no way of finding parking inside. If you don't make it before 9 am don't waste your time and money.
This place was absolutely amazing! I cant wait to come back. Such an unreal beautiful place
Lovely and serene, it was a treat to see Mariposa Grove on this visit which we missed the last visit. The sequoia are amazing beyond words. To see these majestic trees up close is awesome, some as big as 103 feet in circumference at the base and 200 feet tall!
Serene landscapes, nice trails, and a cool river to soak in after putting miles on your feet. Do not miss Glacier point and the Sentinel Dome hike for awesome park views.
I'm a millennial, my soft and gentle feet aren't made for this park. I will never comeback ever! I am so mad.
Yosemite will always hold a special place in my heart. This is one of my favorite places on earth to go backpacking. Every time I come, I bring more friends so that they can experience the magic that is Yosemite. Get a permit, get into the wilderness (please, with a guide / experienced friend if you're not experienced!!!), and immerse yourself in something beyond the touristy part of the park. Also, please PLEASE please leave no trace - pack out your trash, and any litter you find while here.
HOW IS THIS PLACE REAL? Absolutely incredible. One of the most stunning places I have ever been. I can't stop thinking about my trip from September. Weather was PERFECT. Great hiking temperature, not a cloud in the sky and the nights were also mild. Cathedral lakes trail, Glacier Point, Sentinel Dome, and Taft Point were the hikes we did. I still can't get over how absolutely massive the mountains are. We are so lucky to be able to experience such an incredible place.
Put a check mark on things to see in your lifetime. One of the 7 natural wonders of the world.
Been around the world , this trully is everything and more
So beautiful. Quite crowded on a Saturday in May, but get to the trail early and it s not too bad.
The feeling of being in nature is one that cannot be created by man. This national park is a gift from earth and we must preserve it will all we got. As well as all type of nature from all around the world. This park left me with the cool breeze of waterfall water on the surface of my face. The experience receive at this park is priceless. We must do all we can to respect this park and leave things the way they are. If I ever see you throw trash on the ground or destroy some nature.... I will come for you. This place is amazing nonetheless. I strongly recommend.
This place is beautiful me and the entire 6th grade went there we hiked and camped in cabins we hiked up the side to see half dome and the 3 tallest waterfall in California it was breathtaking. This place is also really relaxing you can just sit somewhere and look at the sites and relax with absolutely no stress.
This is my favorite place in the World! My husband and I have traveled to many places, but very few come to the peace and tranquility you can find on this National Park!
