Very beautiful place. I went in mid March. Lots of snow. My children really enjoyed playing in the snow and seeing the scenery. I highly recommend going. I want to go in the summer to be able to walk. Several roads are closed in winter.

The BEST, we had a fabulous time. Old timey, and they encourage unplugging and enjoying the people around you. The staff treated us wonderfully, they were helpful with sledding directions for our 11 year old. We can not wait for our April trip up to the lodge.

A beautiful place to hike and picnic with the family. There are a lot of bears and deer right now. To avoid the heat, I highly recommend going above the foothills up to the giant trees in order to avoid the heat. Remember to take water, sanitizer, sun block, and snacks. And mouth covers for when you come across groups of people.

These parks are my top favorites. These are actually two parks adjacent with each other and are part of the Sequoia National forest. It is humbling to stand on the world's biggest tree, General Sherman located at Sequoia NP and the second biggest General Grant, located at Kings Canyon NP. Both parks have a lot of hiking trails and spectacular views of the big forests, canyons and rivers.

(7/5/20)This place is just amazing and i just dont tired of coming here, its just beautiful!however now with the pandemic park rangets are not doing their job by keeping it clean. They still charge you to get in but the everything is closed and the restrooms were filthy! There was no hand sanitizer available to the public. I appreciate being able to drive through however if you do something do it right! You charge us, do your job. If you dont do your job dont charge us!

Loved every bit of this park! Just a short drive up from Fresno into the National Park. You pass beautiful citrus orchards on the way. There is even local fruit stands along the way. The visitors center has a small museum with artifacts on one side and a gift shop on the other. Across from the visitors center there is a spot with picnic benches to stop and eat your lunch. The scenery is so beautiful as you climb up the mountain towards the giant forest. You must stop at General Sherman and take a picture next to the biggest tree you will ever see! The trail is beautiful and great for the whole family. There are plenty of places to stop and take pictures and even pull an RV up and stay! A place to visit for sure.

Beautiful national park, great for the whole family. We had a family member in a wheelchair and had no issues accessing the trails marked as accessible. We visited at the beginning of Sept and it was not very crowded except for some small crowds at General Sherman Tree. My two older children completed their Jr. Ranger workbooks and earned their badges.

Visited this place during covid shutdown. Great trees and view. Found a nice view by the road. I wish I had more time to spend here and will definitely come again. During April/May the snow is melting and many streams of water can be found around the park. Fantastic place to be even during winter.

The beauty of the sequoias is amazing. The trails alone are worth the visit. I spent most of my time hiking through three of the major trails, and the views were enough to Make me not want to leave.

This place is beautiful! Lots of things to do and see. Trails for hiking, 4wheeling and horse back riding. There are also a lot of campgrounds to stay at as well as cabins inside of the park and a lot just outside of the park as well. Great place for day trips or week trip. Just driving through the park is a wonderful sight!

You have to be mentally prepared to drive up narrow roads up the mountain but our overall experience was good. Take sunscreen, hats, layers, and plenty of water. Unfortunately I will not be returning soon because I took my 3 year old and found out he gets car sick...but I highly recommend it to adventurous people looking for a new adventure. Per car is $35, per person is $20, and they have other options (example: yearly passes). And they give you a map at the entrance with your receipt. From what I read you would need to give yourself 2 hours for the drive and the scenic stops so be prepared.

Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park are located in the eastern part of central California. The landscape is rich and chic. There are soaring giant redwoods and magnificent mountains, which can listen to the roar of the river in the canyon. Take a peek at the lake's warm reflections in the blue bushes. The park has the world's largest tree - General Sherman Tree, and the "American National Christmas Tree" - General Grant Tree, which attracts many travelers.

Wow what a great place to drive off of a cliff.

Wow what a great place to drive off of a cliff.
we stayed at Potwisha Camp ground.we were scared to go anywhere else. You have to walk Miles to see Gen. Sherman, and drive then hike another one or two to see Gen. Grant. I was glad to be home after wards. Daring AND young you should be. Make sure your brakes are in good health.
