It is hard to describe my experience, because there where some highs (especially the courtyad between the old and new building), but in general I was a but disappointed. There is a sizeable collection of Irish paintings and some other British and continental European paintings as well, but not many of them really stood out to me, and the presentation of all the works was very traditional and not that well described in any way

I loved this museum. Entrance is free, they have a lovely collection that you can see in a day, and the gift shop is full of amazing little gifts. I was here on a Thursday and there was an event happening, acrobats entertained everyone out on the court yard, there were circus performers doing demonstrations for children, and even a nail salon station. I really enjoyed it, I hope the curators/event management people know that they are doing a great job and it is a wonderful way to showcase all kinds of arts.

Cafe is quite nice and has a kids play area. Actual restaurant has good food, but staff are very slow and prone to getting the order wrong. Gluten free options available in both restaurant and coffee shop

Nice and very nice museum and above all good free entry. In addition to all art, the architecture of the building is also a true experience. Lots of artworks from famous artists. You can safely walk around here for a few hours. One of the highlights of Dublin.

Wonderful chef d'oeuvre, the path was very chaotic though. Everyone in our group got lost inside the museum and couldn't find the way back to the main hall. Also, staff wasn't that helpful.

You not paying entrance. It's for free. It's an impressive building with impressive art pieces of Irish artists. Apart from Irish artists you can also find lots of art of European artists (from Renaissance to today).

A beautiful art exhibition in Dublin. Building that does not call too much attention from the street but that encloses exemplary salons. Art from various eras and countries where you can find Picasso, Rodin, Juan Gris and a great collection of modern portraits
