Can not speak highly enough about the staff. They are so attentive and kind. Everything ran so seamlessly and I know that was due to their efforts. The location is beautiful and the activities are engaging and fun. Look forward to going back in the winter to give skiing a try in Utah.

Nothing but great things to say! My brother was bi skiing with his guide Elan Olif for 4 days, and it was phenomenal. Elan made the most of everyday, showing us new parts of the mountain and making each run a new adventure. Very caring and accommodating. We have been in Big Ski and Whistler and this by far was our favorite, we will be back.

5+ stars for the ski program. We made some great memories here. My son had a blast and the staff was so accommodating, encouraging and loving with him , I was impressed with the access to the facility and the affordability of the program. Even more impressed now that we ve been to another adaptive ski program that fell very short in comparison.

My experience at NAC was very exciting. The staff members were awesome and very helpful. They made us feel welcomed . We came as group (Wounded Warrior Veterans) and we enjoyed the physical challenges this facility offers. I would highly recommend this place if you come to Park City, UT. I had an unforgettable time!

About National Ability Center

National Ability Center: Empowering People with Disabilities through Adaptive Sports and Adventure in Utah

The National Ability Center (NAC) is a non-profit organization that provides adaptive sports and adventure programs for people with disabilities. Founded in 1985, the NAC has been empowering individuals of all ages and abilities to participate in outdoor activities that promote physical fitness, social interaction, and personal growth.

Located in Park City, Utah, the NAC offers a wide range of adaptive sports programs throughout the year. From skiing to cycling to rock climbing, there is something for everyone at the NAC. The center also offers summer camps for children with disabilities as well as military veterans.

One of the most popular programs at the NAC is adaptive skiing. With access to some of the best ski resorts in Utah, participants can experience the thrill of skiing regardless of their physical abilities. The center has specialized equipment such as sit-skis and outriggers that allow individuals with mobility impairments to ski down slopes safely.

In addition to skiing, the NAC also offers other winter sports such as snowboarding and cross-country skiing. During summer months, participants can enjoy activities like horseback riding, fishing trips or kayaking on nearby lakes.

The National Ability Center's mission is not only about providing recreational opportunities but also about promoting independence among people with disabilities. Through its various programs and services offered by certified professionals who are trained specifically for working with people who have different types of disabilities including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), cerebral palsy (CP), Down syndrome (DS), multiple sclerosis (MS) or spinal cord injuries(SCI).

The center's staff works closely with each participant to develop an individualized plan based on their needs and goals. This approach ensures that every person receives personalized attention while participating in any program offered by NAC.

Another unique aspect of this organization is its commitment towards inclusivity; they believe everyone should have equal access regardless of their financial situation or disability type which means they offer scholarships so anyone can participate without worrying about costs associated with these activities.

Moreover,National Ability Center has partnered up with several organizations across America including Wounded Warrior Project which helps veterans recover from injuries sustained during combat operations overseas by providing them opportunities like therapeutic recreation through outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, fishing etc..

Overall,National Ability Center provides an inclusive environment where individuals can challenge themselves physically while building self-confidence through participation in various recreational activities designed specifically for those living life differently than others due to disability or injury.Their goal is not just limited towards providing fun-filled experiences but also helping them achieve greater independence which ultimately leads towards better quality life!
