A museum where you can experience the construction and technology of different aircraft, where children have to keep a close eye on the route.
Partly due to coronavirus, a walking route has been set up so that people can avoid each other so much.
Still, bad enough families were present.
Also easily accessible for less able-bodied people, due to wheelchair (3 items can be ordered) present at the museum.

Start on time (10:00 am) due to the size of the terrain. My time in terms of walking route was 10:00 am to 3:30 pm to be able to read and view almost everything.

Really worth walking through the history

Nice museum that takes you through all years of aviation. Inside you will find old planes, also engines of these old planes with the operation explained. Outside of a 747, you can see everything there. The only thing missing is an explanation and an (openworked) jet engine!

It's our 3rd time and my children (5 and 8 years old) are still enjoying the place. There are couples of playgrounds both in and outside. Nice history about airplanes. Simulator is small but lovely. Excellent for family and you can spend 3-4 hours here easily. Parking costs 6 euro.

Fun!

Above expectations! I was a little worried by the website that it would be such a modern museum with only buttons and children's games. Fortunately for adults also very interesting and lots to see. A must for me.

Nice place for plane lovers. Except emoloyees who wear masks none of the visitors do. It is not obligatory apparently in the Netherlands however it seems reasonable to me to wear it in the inside space where you often cross eachother's path. For the rest it was a very nice visit and I recommend it.

I enjoyed it. Buy tickets online, save 2 euros per person. Enough for the (very) little ones, with an indoor and outdoor playground. Interesting exhibition and the 747 is really cool from the top floor!

I would expect a Fokker F28 here. It should not be missing from the collection. The last KLM Boeing 747-400 must also be flown here. Very unfortunate that the Schreiner Aerospatiale Dauphin helicopter has been overpainted and put on the playground. Beautiful is the reconstructed old Schiphol East building. Also nice inside to see because of the many old photos and flight information written with chalk.

It has been some years since I have been here but it was not a disappointed. Although currently some planes are not accessible due to Covid, there's still enough to see. The collection is gorgeous, especially the Constellation (Connie) is a true beauty. The volunteer at the radio stack was very friendly and explains in every detail how communication worked during the early years of aviation. Recommended!

Fun theme park around aviation! From civilian to military and the history from the past to the present. There is a lot to see and do inside and outside, especially for small children from the age of 3. I come back every year and we always look our eyes out.

Due to the variety in information and all aircraft, it remains a beautifully set up park. The hero days in the summer are fun, but very busy. Restaurant is on the pricey side

Very nice for children (and adults, plenty to see), many planes are allowed in. Nice volunteers from the aviation world who give explanations at various places. The playground equipment is also nice to enjoy.
Been twice this year, and will definitely be back.

Lots to see and do. Compared to, for example, the National Military Museum, everything here is packed closer together and looks a bit messy. As a result, it is sometimes difficult to view the aircraft properly. There is also plenty to do for younger children, for example in the various playgrounds that are available. Of course a lot of attention for the history of Fokker and KLM. In addition to the museum hall, there are also several aircraft outside. Some of them should go through the car wash once.
The on-site catering is not cheap, but offers more than just a fries.
Museum is certainly good for a few hours of entertainment.

Too bad about the baking air

Had a nice day and seen a lot of interesting things.
The combination with flight simulator weekend was of course extra fun.
Wonderful to see and experience that commitment of people.
What we really disliked was the huge baking air in the central hall.
We stood there for five minutes to wait for the playing son.
All our clothes stank in the wind for an hour.
For improvement.

One of the most beautiful aviation museum I know. There are all possible planes and very nice staff who are happy to answer questions.
And for smaller children, there are also plenty of opportunities to play on playgrounds. Unfortunately, the prices for food and drinks on the ground are very high. Nevertheless, the visit is definitely worth it.

I love art, so when my husband wanted to visit this museum, I thought for three/five seconds that I wouldn't accompany him, however, I then thought "broaden your horizons". SO GLAD I did. I enjoyed this museum...walking into the KLM 747 Combi-airplane, KLM Constellation and one that replicated the air movement while you walk through it. Then learning and seeing so many other planes/air items. The museum is a bit away from other places, but very worth the visit. We combined our trip with a visit to the Batavia (ship) & Hans & Grietje Pannenkoeken

Amazing museum about both Dutch and international aviation history. There are lots of real planes as well as replicas. You can learn about whole history from how aviation started in Netherlands and where it is know. Also lots of fun for kids both indoor and outdoor.

Very well organized. Explained in three languages and not very interesting for connoisseurs.
For kids it is very varied, as there is always something to try or discover between the explanations. The four hours on the spot have passed by in a flash.

Super museum, original aircraft and exhibitions. They even have the original aircraft from the former GDR. I would recommend! Book yourself all day, everywhere you go and touch everything. extra

Great place to visit. A large collection of aircraft ranging from the Wright Brothers until the present day. The KLM 747 DC is a must see. They also built a replica of Schiphol in the 30's. A large indoor play area for children simulates the luggage process. There is also a simulator, theatre, and the chance to fly yourself in a simulator. A great day out for all!
