RPI Student Health Center Reviews

Went in to talk about cold symptoms. I was wearing a onesie, which covers me from neck to ankle, as I was sick and had been in been in bed for days. The nurse told me that I was dressed inappropriately, that I should never wear pajamas in public, and that I was inviting sexual assault. I do not appreciate being told that I'm inviting rape, thanks. I reported her, and the response boiled down to "we talked to her, sorry you got offended, don't wear pajamas." Would not recommend.

More attentive and friendly than my doctors at home! Very busy at the beginning and end of each semester, but great during the semester.

The RPI student health center helped save my life. I came in with stomach pain and they referred me to the ER after examination. It turns out I had appendicitis and had to get my appendix removed. So thank you RPI student health center. I especially like that their services are included for RPI students.

Very helpful, but make sure you call ahead for an appointment! They're always really busy.

Came in with a wrist problem. No diagnosis or referral. All I was told was to rest the joint. And appointment only? I ll use my insurance and go to a real medical center, but thanks for trying.

If you go in for cold like symptoms they ll tell you to get over the counter without even testing for strep etc. Sometimes the GYN is rude; she made comments about my personal life that we re not necessary. The only thing that s good is that I can get all my prescriptions I need through there pretty easily. Might be better off going to the Albany med walk in clinic on Hoosick street though.
