Naru is located at the Orlando Eye Plaza (nice area) BUT we had the MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at this newly open restaurant. WARN: Don t go there; you definitely want to avoid it. Although the design is nice and modern, it does not compensate for the below than average food the food that you actually get to try since not all of the food you order will actually get to your table and TERRIBLE SERVICE. By far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had, and here is why. The staff is completely inexperienced and unprofessional, and that includes management and service. Unless you are blessed with extra time and patience to wait for your food, you may want to read this. After 2 hours waiting on our food (supposedly all you can eat ), we asked to see the manager but he never came to our table to explain why would take so long to prepare our food (if it was actually being prepared). The server also got the orders all mistaken (do they even have any service training?). Almost 3 hours after we arrived at the restaurant, my husband and I left hungry (AND PISSED FOR WAITING SO LONG). The manager never came to our table for any sort of explanation or for a very well deserved apology. We will never come back. You should also not waste your time. There are way too many better food and service options at the same Plaza.

WARNING do NOT eat here! It was the absolute WORST experience of my life. I bought a groupon for $50 worth of food, I am from out of town and was coming down for vacation and thought this was a great option for 4 girls. Wrong decision! We told several of the waiters we had that we have never been there and not sure what to get. We decided on the gourmet meal for $25. We got two since we figured it was plenty of food to feed 4 girls. They never told us that we would have to pay individually. We even told our server that we are going to share, she said that was fine. Well we order that and soft drinks, which are outrageously priced also. I should have known to run as far and as fast as I could when the drinks came and the soda was disgusting. The food came. The rice was not even a fist size full, it was hard and crunchy and no flavor, also was cold. The salad they said tasted rotten and looked like tape worms. All of the fried assortment also tasted rotten. I was trying to stay positive and oh this is something new to try. We didn't even get our sushi to try when the waitress comes over and says you will have to pay for 2 additional meals since you are sharing if you order another round. I was not planning to order anything else anyways and I was already disgusted, I told her I am not paying for two more meals when that was never mentioned, I also am not ordering another round, the food was disgusting and tasted like throw up at one point. I just want my check for the four drinks and that's it. She comes back and says that they can not take the groupon and only let us pay for the drinks so our bill is $16. I said no the two meals is $25 dollars a piece and I have $50 to spend so I will only pay for the drinks. Which I am disappointed I even paid for that. The service was horrible and they were rude. Acted like they were better than everyone. Again stay far away from this place. You will waste your money and time! It's not even real sushi and it taste rotten like it's been sitting out.

I never write reviews but I hope someone reads this one. The menus are crazy and hard to read, the server was nice, but took too long for the food to get. Since I couldnt read the menu I told them what I wanted and they did it charging them as the expensivest roll they had on the menu, even I asked for avocado on one and they didnt had. Go to this place under your own risk. The sushi isnt good, and the menu is hard to read. Hopefully they will read this and change to be better.

Terrible experience. My party and I walked into no host at the host stand. When finally sat we had no menu. 8 min later we got a menu. We ordered then had to ask for a drink menu. Then found out they were out of all bottle sake. They have 10+. I don't understand. But the table egos us could gave one because they were vip? We accepted the order of a large hot sake. It never came. The wrong food came out. We were starving so we ate. It was kind of close. The server came over to ask if it was ok that we had the wrong food, but asked if we were ok because the price was the same. How ignorant and insulting. We asked for the check and got the hell out. No drink. Wrong food. No apology. No manager. No attempt to recover. No chance in being back. What a shame

This restaurant looked nice and seemed to have a nice atmosphere plus we love sushi and travel all over orlando in search of the perfect place. But the service here was terrible from the start. We ended up waiting an hour and a half for our sushi and it wasn't even that great. By far the worst place in orlando eye.

I don't know if it was because of the time, but it was time consuming to meet us. The food was slow and slow to reach the table. Despite all the warmth manager, who is Brazilian, and the food is very tasty, this is a point that could improve. Other than that, it was worth the visit. Would go back there with pleasure.

Terrible, got a lunch special groupon, went for lunch and they were closed, called to see if we could use it for dinner, they said yes, when we show up for dinner they said we have to spend $50 to use it, the manager would not even come talk to us, very frustrating they shouldn't have any of theyre specials on Groupon if they do not intend to honor them. They were closed for a private party and didn't even put it up on the Groupon site, so they're taking money for something they can't even offer! They don't care about you unless your spending alot of money, very very frustrating, basicly planned our whole day around this, waiting to use our groupon and didn't get to use it, terrible business practice. Girl at the front was very nice though.

As soon as I got to the place all of the servers were pushing us to order and not giving us the proper time to decide. We waited exactly half an hour for 4 sushi rolls to arrive and when they did, one of them wasn't the right one. I'm sitting here right now writing this because I'm extremely upset about the whole experience. Never coming back and not recomended!!!

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in the area. I love the wide selection of sushi, temakis and the fresh ingredients that is the used in every single meal. If you are resident or simply visiting Orlando, this is a must go restaurant.

I usually don't review and I always give every place a chance but man... this place looked great on the outside so my expectations were pretty high. A few things went wrong. My mom ordered sweet tea and was brought unsweetened tea. So the server went and took it back. I'm pretty sure he added a few packs of sugar into the glass and handed it back to her. I'm sorry but that's not sweet tea.

Second, when the food came out, i normally try to finish my food to be polite, but man... for a place that looks so high class, why are you guys serving supermarket sushi? The same rice Harris Teeter uses was found on my sushi. Really?? To be honest, Harris Teeter makes superior sushi and They are a supermarket chain. Smh,

Finally, my mom's meal was super bland as well. The fried rice might as well be white rice because it tasted just as plain. Plus, its katsu don. How do you NOT HAVE SAUCE for katsu don?? At this point, we can't even fathom how this place even qualified as a japanese restaurant.

If you're going to advertise yourself as a high end japanese sushi place, the food better match. Hopefully you guys see this and realize the half ass efforts using the low quality rice and ingredients wont cut it.
