Beautiful surroundings and very well maintained. The hull of the winery impresses. It is excellent the conservation of the same in its original conditions. The restaurant is expensive for what they offer. Only the visit is at $ 5. Very reasonable and worth doing even if it is very short.

I really enjoyed the meal and the wine(s) we tried. The service was cheerful and super friendly. Its one of those gems that you find on the road sometime and you wish it was closer to your house so you could go back.

A place for enjoyment Extraordinary cuisine, good wines and better service. We went to the guided tour of the winery and then we took the dessert and bought the products in the store. Everything impeccable!

It is a very cute restaurant, super well decorated, very expensive, with a limited menu, specialized in pastas. I ordered ravioli with spinach and mushrooms, with parmesan and sage butter that were rich but came barely warm. Other dishes from other diners that were with me turned out better. The mashed potatoes of one of the girls in the group had a fly, for which they apologized profusely and did not charge the plate.

Very nice to visit. It has a warehouse, a bakery and a vineyard. The prices of the products are a bit high. The dulce de leche and the olive oil are incredible. The honey did not seem so good.

The place is beautiful, a young lady showed us the facilities well cared for. But I felt I missed something else. They did not offer us the tasting option, when it came to buying the wines in the bodega itself, there was doubt of what to bring and there was no willingness on the part of the attendant (another girl not the same as the visit) to help us or offer a little to taste. It seemed to be sloppy, as if our purchase was not important. I prefer to visit smaller wineries than this one.

I was this past weekend with my wife and my baby. We asked to buy jam and seeing the expiration we realized that the one they had on display was over. If my lady does not look at the expiration, they put the jam on us. The employee had to look at more than ten bottles to finally reach one that was not defeated. The truth, this I did not expect it and threw me down. I suggest to those who go that they look well at what they are wearing.

If you have something that defines Narbonne is very very very expensive, a jelly cost $ 12, olive oil 500ml $ 12, yogurt $ 4, olive oil 1 liter $ 20, olives with stone $ 14, what we did not see the prices of the wines nor of the meal, but the place is very beautiful worth a visit. Prefer eating in the center of Carmelo is much cheaper.

Narbona Wine Lodge and Estates in Carmelo Uruguay ...

Narbona Wine Lodge and Estates in Carmelo Uruguay provided an unforgettably delicious experience for our honeymoon. It was clear from the moment we entered that their welcoming culture provided hospitality fit for a king. It s clear when the entire team takes ownership of the customer experience and each of our interactions with Narbona workers showed the staff s pride in cultivating a luxurious visit for guests.

After a quick nap in our palatial yet rustic suite full of hardwoods, burnished metals, and delightful antiques, we were treated to a tour of their winemaking facilities and a tasting of their most popular vintages. My understanding of the details was limited, as the entire tour was conducted in Spanish, but the tastes of their Tanat Roble, homemade cheeses, and house baked breads are universal and translation is unnecessary. My favorite was the honey-infused grappa which they conveniently make available for guests in the office free of charge. Every small convenience was provided and thought of ahead of time from small jars of dulce de leche, a local specialty, placed by our bedside in the evenings to local woolen ponchos being placed in our closet for use during the cool Uruguayan evenings.

We stayed for three short days. There are only five rooms available on the estate, and we were fortunate to have booked their best room overlooking the vineyard. We enjoyed a sunset cruise with wine and antipasti, a picnic in the vineyard, an evening fire by the fountain, and lots of quiet moments with my beautiful new wife during our brief stay.

On our final day, we learned my initial impressions of their hospitality were spot on. The King and Queen of Norway had stayed on another residence on the property just a few weeks prior. I was fortunate to be treated to a private tour of the chateaux grounds by Frederick, a longtime employee and friend of the proprietor. The 400 year old chateau on the banks of the Rio Plata was built by slaves for the Portuguese and Spanish merchants ferrying silver from the mines to the ocean. It was a lovely and unforgettable experience. I look forward to our return!

The place is beautiful, the surroundings are worth it. We did the guided tour at 2:00 PM and recommended it. The guide seemed in a hurry to finish it but he was very friendly at all times, he speaks English and he tells very well everything he tells, very willing to answer our questions. The place has a restaurant to eat and try the different things they do there, including jams and sweets. The staff of the place was not very friendly, who attended us did not speak English and what seemed to be the manager spoke with the staff of schedules and work issues in front of us, as if we were not there, we felt it was not the place to do it. The winery also has a hotel. It is reached by the route, very easy access. We regret that such a nice place does not have an adequate treatment for those who visit it, should improve that. The place is worth it.

Beautiful setting, good products, but too tourist site. Card correct but not exceptional, too classic (except the lamb Tannat). Too bad we do not find the vegetables in their garden in the dishes, for example. Too bad also that they make pay the cover (4 dollars per person and 2 per child) and that they make pay the visit (5 dollars per person).

My girlfriend and I stayed here on 2018.12.13 for one night. We found the staff to be incredibly helpful and enjoyable to speak with. This was an excellent stay.

Property: Enjoying the complimentary use of wool ponchos to keep warm, as well as a fire in the room's fireplace. Beautiful gardens, pools, and stone / brick buildings. Free bicycles and a 4x4 ATV for touring the vineyard. Small corrections needed in the grading of the driveway and weatherproofing of the room door. Small amount of mold in the well-appointed bathroom, easily fixed if they add exhaust fans after removing the existing mold.

Food: The restaurant was excellent. The atmosphere was rustic and well decorated. The ingredients were almost entirely produced on property or within 100 miles. Dessert was excellent, I just love their Dulce de Leche.

Wine: The wine tour and tasting was exceptional. The sommelier was fluent in english and spanish and provided a great overview of the production process and specific wine features / accompaniments. We never felt rushed or out of place. Everything was perfect.

Extras: Narbonne booked to horseback riding tour for us and we enjoyed it immensely.

Excellent food, excellent wine. We enjoyed lunch very much. Sorry the deal in the Warehouse. The employees argued, they treated us very badly. A pity that they do not know how to treat customers with respect.
