Four of us met up for a late lunch. No problem with finding a comfortable table. There was something on the menu for everyone. The toasted brussel sprouts were a hit, as was the dish featuring fresh mozzarella. The four-cheese individual pizza was good size and excellent. The service was prompt and friendly. I asked the others if they wanted quick and inexpensive or nice. We picked nice and were not disappointed.

Located adjacent to Grand Central Station, the food and service here (Connie) was fantastic. My 1st visit to NYC and this place has everything: amazing pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, chicken parmigiana, olive oil with fresh herbs & fresh baked bread and more! Also, an assortment of beer, wine and cocktails. It's a great place for couples, families, groups and happy hour. The perfect amount food per portion, great flavor and served hot. Mmm!

This little hipster haven was quite delicious. Got the basic "classic" deep dish, so good! Who knew that a corn meal crust could make me so happy?
Plus the hostess was pleasant and our server had neat glasses.

My friend chose a Caesar Salad with Chicken ($17) made with the typical romaine hearts, chicken and parmigiano-reggiano cheese sprinkled on top, and I opted for a simple bowl of Pasta Fagioli, a white bean and pasta soup ($11). Water was brought to the table and I requested some bread which was graciously provided. Our waiter came by several times to check on us without interruption to be sure all our wants were met. The salad was piled high with lots of chicken and my soup was excellent, served hot and tasty.
The menu is sufficient offering about 9 appetizers, two soups and 5 salads along with many pastas and pizzas.
Other than the noise level, by New York City standards, this is a nice, reasonably priced place to have lunch. I would definitely go back.
Total bill for two including a couple glasses of wine amounted to about $65 plus tip.

Solid menu, good beer selection and surprising great pizza. Service was spot on and the shared Slasiccia pizza was amazing. The only downside was the noise. We sat on the patio and there was a demolition crew literally right across the street. We had to yell at each other the entire meal.

The best pizza and pizza deal near Grand Central Station bar none. The quality and taste is amazing! And if you get there before 4pm you can choose from a variety of pizza for only $2 bucks a slice. Add an extra $1 and get a can of soda or bottle of water. Absolutely one of the best lesser known spots by 42nd street.
