Well, Springfield is not really a common destination when you're in Massachussetts BUT I made it a point to come here finally since I'm a big basketball fan. I highly recommend this place. The wall for Hall of Famers is awesome to see. The displays of basketball greats from college to pro is amazing. You can also play basketball downstairs, so go to the top floor first and walk your way down then sweat it out. You can do everything in one hour (if you're short of time) but 2 to 3 hours is recommended.

Worth the price of admission! Plan on spending up to two hours here, lots of interactive items, shooting hoops on a basketball court, and admiring all things basketball. Bonus - Great history lesson about how the game began and how it's evolved ever since. Good post-visit restaurants nearby too.
Bring very good walking shoes - you'll be need it.

It is kind of bored, because if you want to know something you need to find it by yourselve, could be better if you have someone that is able to tell you some history. (Too expensive buy the picture)

Fun for the whole family. College, NBA, and WNBA inductees are recognized here. Easy to walk around and great activities for the whole family. During the summer they invite a HOF for a conversation. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

Was kind of a letdown...went on a rainy day and there were countless leaks in the ceiling raining down on the floor and displays. Staff is VERY friendly and accommodating and the courts inside are a nice touch for everyone to play. Gift shop had a limited variety of Jerseys to pick from.

Plenty of great restaraunts around it. Great for anyone starting to get into basketball or people that know almost everything about the game. Also has a nice court smack in the middle of it. Plenty of great restaraunts nearby like Luxe Burger, Uno's, and Subway.

Ball is life. But seriously if you like basketball in the slightest go there with your family and enjoy. Amazing place for anyone but especially if you love the game. I was a kid in a candy shop.

A must go if you re an NBA fan . They have all the history of this beloved game and has a lot of engaging activities inside . From pop a shot to an actual hardwood floor to shoot hoops on, there s plenty to do!

I paid $22 with my AAA card discount but regular price is $24 and you re free to stay or leave and return all day . This was my second time coming and felt it was worth to stop by since my last visit to the east coast .

Hope to see this place continue to add more things and keep it as historic and as modern as it is now.

The best part was the open basketball courts, with authentic period backboards, and the various game-worn gear and milestone balls. But this could be so much more interesting. Where are the interactive exhibits? How about some footage shot from the floor during a game or at least a scrimmage?

Visited with two kids (8-9). The building is beautiful and it's has a very nice layout. Everything is brightly lit. Lots of history to soak up. The kids for bored quickly with the displays, but loved the interactive displays. They liked the jump measurement and the virtual basketball video game and the pretend sportscaster set up. By far, they liked the shooting baskets the best. They could have played for hours shooting at all the different style baskets including the peach baskets. They also enjoyed the slam dunk area. There's a couple of burger places close by that are family friendly. The kids probably spent half a day in the museum.

It is fun for the kids but for essential purposes it is a waste of time and money. We were near Springfield, MA and the children wanted to visit the hall of fame. It isn't that impressive from my point of view but the kids loved it. One good news is, it doesn't take that long. Even with the kids trying out different activities it took us less than 2 hours and we were done. If you have other activities for the kids I'd recommend you do those before going here. If you have nothing else going on then do it, at least the kids (and the kid in you) will love it.

Great place to go and spend a few hours and see the history of basketball. They offer AAA, Military and Mass. Teachers discount on tickets. Can order tickets online. HoF has places to eat right there. Gift shop has some good buys. Best part is being able to shoot hoops on the court or see how high you can get to dunk.

We arrived a little before closing and got a discounted ticketed price. Their customer service was excellent, we were given stylus-like pens to interact with displays and every floor had the appropriate hand sanitizing station for these covid times. I definitely recommend.
