When not once three and a half stars are allowed, ...

When not once three and a half stars are allowed, three are given.

The location of the spa is good: The city center is just a short walk away, as are, for example, the guest marina and Moomin World. Good walking routes depart in many directions and the proximity to the sea is always positive.

Breakfast was tasty and varied enough, you could even fry waffles if you wanted. Exceptionally, time had to be booked in advance every half hour. At least for myself, that half hour wasn t quite enough.

The staff were generally friendly, although we have not been in direct contact with them very many times over the weekend.

The spa department met my own expectations: On the men s side there is a bigger traditional sauna and in addition there is the possibility to use the Turkish bath with women. The downside is that on the last night the water pressure in the showers dropped to a very low level. The pools are reasonable: a large pool, a therapy pool, a couple of hot tubs and a lovely outdoor pool. At least Korona limited the population of the hot tubs, but with moderation it got well.

The signs to the spa department should be clearly better as we were at the other end of the building and when we went to the lift we didn t even know which floor to go to. Walking through the lobby you will find the right place.

We had a family room with a pet supplement, but these things had not been taken into account. The child did not have his own drinking glass, hand towel or bathrobe. In addition, my female friend had, by calling in advance, asked for a sturdy bench in the hallway in front of the room so that one witty dog would not escape the hallway. There was no bench, but we fetched it downstairs. The flow of information should be better.

The room was quite spacious, but quite hot, although we have already clearly moved from summer to autumn. We kept the door in the ventilated position, but still didn t get cold, at least. For summer and especially for pets, air conditioning would be an absolute must. The plus is that we got straight out of the back door of our room with the dogs and didn t have to go down the elevator through human hum.

In some places Naantali Spa Age begins to appear, but I've come across in this regard worse cases.

Dining options had been praised in advance, but now at least the Oak Cellar was closed. Dinner for an adult would have cost 38 euros, which made us move on to eating elsewhere. The price is not impossible in itself, but it may not be worth paying for a small-food person - unless the taste experience is quite hyper-class.

170 I paid for a room that is clean yes, but there is no air conditioning and parking had to be paid for separately and the slippers also cost more, a ridiculous financing place that is not worth a visit

Car parking fee surprise. Not to be paid anywhere if you stay overnight. Otherwise, a great place, though, we took a beer in the pool for a drop in the room, which didn't seem to succeed as it did elsewhere.

Parking is charged, which is INNACEPTABLE for an establishment of this level! Especially since we learned later, that the places in front of the road of the hotel were free and unlimited ...
Good points: The hotel is well located (possible to walk in 20 minutes to Moominswordl), the rooms of the building Spa Residence overlooks the sea and are well equipped.
Negatives: The water temperature of the pools is lukewarm and the resort is a little run down.
Overall, the stay was still nice.

Really relaxing place, great location and spa area was pretty. Not so suitable for families at least the spa area, but at common areas there is couple kids play rooms. Room were also clean and good size even for 3 people. Breakfast was quite basic hotel breakfast, but the view was beautiful towards the sea.

Very nice hotel good wifi, large rooms, everything nice clean and very good condition the bed is really comfortable. There are three restaurants in the hotel, I tried two of them both were really good. The hotel is right next to the sea with its own beach although I think the water temperature is only suitable for the tough sons (and doughters) of the north. There are playrooms for kids, conf rooms and live music in the evenings in the lobby area. My room was on the second floor with access to a large balcony the room was at least 30 square meters looked like new, quality materials and good interior design I really enjoyed the stay here.

Overpriced. Many of the services that are normally free of charge or included in the room price have to be paid separately here, for example: tap water at the restaurant 2.80 e, bath slippers 5 e, gym 6 e, etc. The atmosphere of the Swedish ship that stuck in the 80's is created by brass staircases, granite floors, promenade and chandeliers.

Dinner was expensive, but food was really bad. Nothing to choose, only potatoes, fish and super dry pork. Salad table was also empty. I paid 37e for empty plate. Spa was OK, but in description of the hotel said that sauna is common, actually only one steam sauna was together, other is not. One place with sauna was closed at Saturday . A lot of lights on the ceiling are not working, and actually Spa looks little bit dirty, because it's really old. In my room at night I could hear some loud music, next day I asked it was some salsa festival. These people are so loud. I think I won't come back, I would prefer different spa.

Certainly not a 5 star. More like 3 star.

Certainly not a 5 star. More like 3 star.
Dirty room, everything closed. Found left over food from the previous guest in bedside drawer. Dirty dressing gown left in room upon arrival. Staff don't seem to care.

Overpriced for the quality.

Not recommended!

It is ok because it's near Naantali old town, but everything in here is overpriced and has low care on the details of the services. It looks like they are renovating but they don't have high class services. The tables of the coffee place are not ussually clean, they charge you extra for the parking, wine is expensive and they dont have good variety, everywhere you can find furniture broken or damage, the bar near the pool has coktails but they dont know how to prepare it... and a big etc

A nice experience while cycling on the archipelago ring route. Rooms clean and large and breakfast good and comprehensive. There could be clearer guidance on bike parking and it would be nice to have more common mixed saunas for men and women in the spa department.

In addition to other great services, an international Thai restaurant. Food, service and milieu take you a long way to a great taste. Remember to book your table well in advance to arrive at the best of the spa (Northern Europe).

The visit was a very pleasant experience. We spent three days at the spa.
Our dogs were included and well catered for.

The room was clean, well equipped and in good patterns.

The spa had plenty of room to swim and bathe. The pools are large enough for real bathing. The water in the outdoor pool is pleasantly warm. The spa has only one sauna for shared use. This is a clear shortcoming.

The hotel restaurants are of a good standard. The buffet was also high quality and varied. The oak cellar is nicely intimate. Servings are tasty and well prepared. Mention first aid skills of staff. The customer of the restaurant suddenly lost consciousness. The event was handled nicely.

A great location, big room and nice views. Excellent gym (open 24 h) and many pools. Would have been nice if one of the hot tubs would be only for adults so that there would be a calmer place also. Breakfast was too crowded eventhough we had to pick time the day before (7.00, 8.00, 9.00 and 10.00). It would be easier to use the facilities if places would be better signed. There was for example confusion about the location of the gym (floor P or floor K) and floor signs missing near the stairways. Also some weird situations with sauna signs as some people were naked and some had their swimming suits. Place has potential but it would need more informative updated signs and posters as it is a big building.

Nice spa hotel with everything you need! There is a hotel, restaurants, new gym, lobby bar, pool bar, beauty treatments, etc. Spacious and detailed. But in some places already gone old fashioned. The spa side needs a little duo to this day. Nothing has changed over time. Showers not working all properly, water pressure bad. Locks in some cabinets do not work and should be replaced with a simpler lock system. And the lobbies need some refreshment, a bit too "plastic" feeling for some decoration. But nice, relaxed atmosphere and nice pools and staff. Steam sauna pretty cool, other saunas ok. Gym small but good and new.

Naantali's spa had high expectations, after all, it's a kind of icon among Finnish spas. There was nothing really wrong with the place itself, but the price level is really high compared to the place. Age is already weighing on the spa. The spa has two large hot tubs and three swimming pools, one of which is outdoor. In addition, there is a children's pool. There are two saunas - a normal sauna and a shared steam room.
