We booked the villa for 28 May (Sky water villa 12).
When we were to finalize the deal the owner asked us to change our plan on the pretext of load shading. So we preponed our plan by a day which was a Friday. We all had a great trouble getting a leave from our office on such a short notice. Anyways when you plan to rock, you rock anyhow. We managed with a lot of struggle. After we checked out I realized I forgot my watch. I went back to see if I can find it. But what I found was disgusting, there were guests already in there. The owner played a dirty trick on us. Mystic valley disappointed party people ;(
Quick cons
1. The main swimming pool is highly chlorinated. Not at all worthy, a pothole sized :).
2. There is a water scarcity. There was no water even to wash face and poop. (the concierge said we will arrange water tanker, there were no talks of it afterwards)
3. Pay Rs.200 per person if you want to play pool, carom etc. (always confirm before you finalize the deal)

Place was great and the food is amazing.. loved the service too

Extremely large rooms and doesn't feel like a motel but rather as if u r at home

Fabulous stay rooms are one the biggest I have even stayed at also have Indian sitting style, staff very curtious enjoyed the views and indoor games. Will definitely comeback soon.

We took bungalow, toilet were untidy. Otherwise toilets rest is fine... Smelly and untidy

Very good service and food. We stayed in Penthouse 100 the view from the window was mesmerising and the flat had balcony type terrace in all rooms.
The AC in the hall and fridge was not working that should be taken care of rest amazing weekend staycation.

The rooms (Deluxe Suite) are spacious with all required amenities. Neat and Tidy. Affordable and Comfortable. The only minor issue here is that there are power cuts here atleast 5 to 6 times a day for 20 to 30 minutes each.

Rooms are ok. Pool was very poorly maintained and smelly. Landing area for slide is dangerous for kids, even certain play areas are poorly maintained. Overall I would say this property needs owner attention and immediate maintenance as well as upgradation.

Room size is good.. Hygiene is average - bed sheets were dirty.. Overall service is average..

Its is a perfect place for rejuvenating. Beautiful and Serene.
the staff is very kind and helpful. The manager is very cordial and hospitable person. Enjoyed my stay to the core.

Very good hotel with affordable price. Rooms are very big, all are deluxe suits, many suits have bathtubs and big hall and a nice bedroom. The resort has a big and large swimming pool also. Food is very good and tasty. We ordered buffet breakfast for all my family.

its a good resort and i guess run by Manas Resort near by as we could see branding on Manas resort on toiletries

about our stay
1) Rooms where really good, big rooms and with all aminities. Bathrooms has Bathtub.

2) Veg and Non veg food is available and good in taste.
3) Alcohol is avilable and served.

Not So Good

1) The pool is big enough but the surroundings where stinky ,there was a stinky garbage smell all over the pool and nearby place.
2) The resort is not that scenic only the rooms are good part of the stay.

On the contrary to all the positive reviews, we had a very ordinary experience at Mystic Valley Spa Resort. To start with the room though spacious was very poorly maintained. We had to call multiple times to make the cable tv work. The bathroom floor was too dirty to step in. Our biggest concern was the entire room was mouldly. There was a constant pungent smell coming out of the walls which were wet because to the rains, which made it suffocating to sleep all night. To top it off, we noticed a rat inside the room, which made our mood even unpleasant. After calling the housekeeping, they didn't "find" the mouse and simply left. So basically we had to spend an entire night in a dirty, mouldy room having a rat in it! Can it get any worse? The only reason I gave 2 stars is because of the decent breakfast in the morning. Overall, a completely avoidable place!

The private bunglows with pool are spacious. However cleniness is a issue. Pool water was chill in Feb and throughout the day even when the sun was very hot. Basic toliteries are not supplied. Crockery is short

It was good experience in Mystic valley resort good amenities pleasant ambience. recommended for family stay. Only thing food is much expensive.

Nice place for weekend stay. We booked the Penthouse and it was an amazing experience. The penthouse had an amazing valley facing view, was well setup and is perfect if you are planning a stay with kids or an extended family. The restaurant serves amazing food, has separate section for liquor. They have two pools but mostly you'll find them dirty since they do not clean it so regularly. The rooms have separate balcony which are really big. Perfect place to visit during monsoon.

The staff is very very bad . The staff does not answer properly and gets irritated by questions .

Nice rooms with 24/7 hot water showers and power back-up. That s all I need for a great hotel stay. Yes, the service was excellent too.

Disaster trip for us. Can't compare with Manas resort. The only facilities that were working was the swimming pool, and spa. The game room wasn't even done....and had nothing literally no carrom, tennis or pool table. No fun.

Went here amidst covid situation with family. The area is safe, necessary precautionary measures were been taken by the employees of the resort. Swimming pool was shut with no water inside the pool, for safety. Limited variety of food can be delivered to your rooms by this resort. Best suggestion is you get your own hot plate or electric cookwares to cook your own meals.
Another point that I would like to add is, the rooms were serviced before we arrived, but it lacked cleanliness. It was monsoon season so it had that slight moisture smell. But I'd say it was still okay, considering that there was just limited staff who were managing to do their best :)

Either Electricity has its own mood or its a setup by the management its always not there

Nice resort with good amenities and big property.

Pent House is better for Group or Families having Big two bed room, A living room and a Kitchen.
Restaurant is nice and the Food is awesome in Taste n Quality too.

Rooms were pathetic with seepage on the walls. Carpets were dirty and torn. Dining table cloths were dirty ,unwashed and infected with houseflies. Broken chairs. Room service is very slow. Exhaust fan was not connected in the washroom. No intercom facility. Food was good.Not worth staying. Not worth a penny.

Nice place to stay during weekends in Igatpuri. Service and hospitality were awesome. Quality of food and way of serving were excellent. Property is quite huge due to that somewhere it was observed the requirement of improvement but still a peaceful place with full of luxury and comfort. Full marks for room size and it's maintenance. Rooms were well arranged and quite clean. View from the room was quite satisfactory. Place is advised to be visited during monsoon season. Overall nice experience. Thanks MVSR.
