We have vacation rentals on The Sunshine Coast and an apartment in Vancouver so have had need of several sofa beds over the past 18 years. We have just purchased our third one from Barbara & Paul of "Sofa So Good" and again have received another beautiful piece of furniture. I went into Sofa So Good with a sectional in mind that I saw online and then met Paul. He was amazing! He talked to me about the fill inside the cushions, the fabric and the optional sizes/shapes. I was on an information mission but instead, I'm now the proud owner of a new sectional because I feel confident I'm getting exactly what I want! Paul was very patient, brought out fabric samples, made suggestions, told me different configurations, price differences, etc. without any rush or push. I can really say this company has fantastic customer service. He took me in the back and I met other staff, when we were discussing delivery dates. All in all an outstanding extraordinary experience!

Very helpful staff and enjoyable no-pressure shopping atmosphere complete with complimentary beverages and snacks! These people are passionate about what they do and genuinely want to help you find or create pieces that fit your needs. We are extremely happy with our new sofa, rug and ottoman:) The delivery guys they use are very professional and even delivered on a holiday Monday at our convenience. We came back in to switch our throw pillows for another pattern after delivery with no issue and ended up buying two more pillows! It s worthwhile being on their mailing list because within a month of our purchase we were invited to come in for a free gift and are currently enjoying our delicious maple syrup:) We highly recommend Sofa So Good and wish they sold even more furniture items!

The picture of the sofa bed online showed more of a brown colour than I wanted, but I couldn t really tell by the photo, so I talked to Paul who described it for me more accurately. I took a chance and ordered it online and yes, it was exactly as he said, charcoal grey with a beige background. The sofa was delivered on time and is very solid and well made. The fabric looks great and I can tell it will hold up. The mattress is also comfortable. Good price, too.

I am amazed with the customer service I received when buying my sectional. I asked if they could expedite my order since I was going to be laid up due to an upcoming surgery. The staff all went out of there way to accommodate my timeline. I can't say enough how happy I am right now, lying on my comfortable couch while I recover. I have been looking for a sofa for some time. Paul inroduced himself asked what I was looking for and then left us alone to look at the inventory...then we got into the discussion about style, room size, fabrics, etc.
I found him to be very helpful, not pushy and appreciated his reassurance of being able to return if not satisfied.

I contacted Sofa So Good as I had been searching for 6 months for just the right material for a sofa. When I spoke to Mike on the phone he informed me that they had 7,000 fabric samples for me to choose from! There was no need to look further.
When I arrived at the store I was met by Mike, Patricia, Barbara, and Paul. They were all so delightful to spend time with that I stayed until closing. And yes, I found the perfect fabric of course. The quality was superb and the knowledge imparted regarding the fabric was exceptional.

What a great experience! No pressure sales, unique stock, and above and beyond service! I can't say enough good things about Sofa So Good. I had searched high and low and found that most stores carry the same stock and salespeople descend upon you like vultures but not Sofa so good. They let us browse on our own but were always available for questions, then helped us make our final decision and also offered little tidbits of knowledge and advice. Our couch arrived with a Canadian flag which I thought was a lovely touch as I had just moved back from the United States. Not sure if they always do this but it was a wonderful touch. Above and beyond!

They have really good quality furniture and there are hundreds of colors and fabric options to choose from. Most of what they sell is made in Canada. They serve refreshments while you shop.

We ordered a couch from these guys, even from a province over! From fabric selection to pouring over a lot of tricky measurements to ensure we got the perfect fit, our sectional has become a central part of our home. Their #customerservice is stellar, and they went the extra mile to organize shipping to us in Edmonton, even arrived a day earlier than we were promised. You'll notice the quietly right away, we opted for the Connor sectional with a chaise, wedge and a custom storage ottoman and the quality was the first thing we noticed.

Whether you're in Vancouver or not, these guys are the best in the country! 10/10 would buy again. How's our sofa so far? Sofa, Soooooo good.

I have bought furniture here off and on for years, since 1999, for 3 separate apartments. I always appreciate how Mike and Paul take the time to brainstorm with me, and take me through the pros and cos of certain fabrics. I have bought small leather recliners, an apartment size sofa, their little tub chairs which are great for a shorter person and a storage bed frame. After a very long and frustrating experience with another custom made sofa company in the area it was a relief to be served by the very kind folks at Sofa So Good. During Covid, we noticed that our couch no longer fit our family but many stores were closed. But Sofa2go was open and had lots of measurements and pictures of Canadian made sofas! Thanks to Paul, Luciano, & Rayna, we were able to inspect, buy, and pick up in a very safe manner without any sales pressure that one gets from large retail outlets. The sofa is solid and well made and at fair prices!

The service at, "Sofa So Good" was excellent. Everyone was helpful and friendly without me feeling the pressure to purchase.

The only, drop the ball moment, seemed to be with the delivery. My sofa and ottoman were not put on the board for delivery so things got a little delayed, normally this would not be a concern with the exception that my company was coming soon.

The delivery guys were very pleasant but although I reminded them the day before delivery, they still forgot my ottoman. Also they moved a piece of furniture as to get the couch into my apartment and in doing so they scratched my cherry hardwood floors. Also I'm still waiting for them to deliver my ottoman.....

I'm happy with my purchase and would definitely shop there again but I am not happy with things at the delivery end.

They gave me the perfect amount of space to look around by myself, but yet were very helpful when I asked a question. I felt zero pressure/stress and they even offered me a drink. They let me take home half-a-dozen fabric swatches and even recommended another colour to try. It has been a while since I have had a such a great sales experience.

I had heard about Sofa so Good through radio ads in which Barbara calmly and intelligently explained her company s mission and customer philosophy. I then checked online, liked their products and emailed. Paul, Barbara s life and business partner, replied.

I explained that I wanted to get a double sofa bed through a very narrow door. Could they help me? Paul asked questions, I gave answers and we agreed to me visiting the store. Because of Covid 19 precautions I scheduled an appointment. I arrived with a floor plan the next day. I waited in the parking lot until the previous clients were gone, cleaned my hands, donned my mask and met Paul. Paul had done his homework and showed me the three models that would all get through the narrow entrance. He explained my mattress options, availability, fabric choices, etc. I very much liked one floor model and purchased it on the spot. It would fit into the room without a makeover but not the patterned toss cushions it came with. I had the option of swapping them for other ones, which I did.

Sofa so Good does not deliver but they have a service you pay for to have items dropped curb side or inside. Because I needed to use it, Paul dropped by my place the night before delivery with a model of the sofa to ensure that it could indeed slide through. He did not want me to have to pay to return it. Very thoughtful and much appreciated.

When the delivery arrived there were helpful notes for the drivers on taking the door off the room, felt pads were included to put on the legs, once they were screwed in, to protect the wood floors, and there was a bag of spot cleaner and care instructions for me.

I was very impressed with the quality of merchandise at Sofa so Good and the amazing customer service. I highly recommend giving Sofa so Good a visit. Paul and Raina were absolutely wonderful, extremely personable but professional. Paul made the initial choice for the purchase of a sofabed very easy, and was very kind about letting me come back several days later to view the fabric when I was having cold feet. Raina kept me advised as to when I could expect delivery, and the delivery company were excellent. I would thoroughly recommend Sofa So Good, as their selection of models and fabrics allow for a host of choices, so I ended up with something that I really wanted, not just because it was available on the floor, ready to go.

I recently bought a sofa from Sofa So Good. Before I made my fabric choice, I had taken a few samples home. I made my choice in February when the weather was dark and gloomy. The fabric I had chosen looked much darker in the house at that time. When the sofa arrived, the sun was out and the room was much brighter. The colour looked completely different. I didn't like it. I contacted Sofa So Good and they were amazing! There was absolutely no problem in returning the sofa even though it was made to order. They wanted me to be happy with my purchase and without any hesitation, allowed me to reorder a sofa in a different fabric. I would highly recommend Sofa So Good to anyone looking to have a sofa made to order. They have a large selection of fabrics and styles and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful too.

A friend suggested I visit Sofa So Good. I don't usually write reviews but the quality of the service I received was so great that I feel I should tell others who don't know where to go for their sofa purchase. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I thought I would spend multiple weekends looking for a sofa but got it all done in one visit in the first store I looked. They have so much selection no need to go anywhere else. Well worth the visit.

We went on the Sofa So Good site and saw that they offered sofas that can actually be bought directly as they were clearance models. We found a wonderful Stylus Grey Sofa that works wonderfully in our space. From the searching to purchase to delivery all went smoothly. Also from the viewpoint of myself as a customer to Sofa So Good they took the time to check in and see how everything worked out. The big guys don t do that, we re out of their circle once we have made the purchase. I will shop here again

After 18 years, we decided to replace an aging Sofa & Love Seat with a new sectional piece for our family room. We've purchased from Sofa So Good in the past and had a great, hassle-free experience, so we decided to return for our new sectional sofa purchase.

We have shopped at competing stores years ago, but found ourselves returning to the customer service, product quality and warranty support Sofa So Good has always been known for. Their experienced, no-pressure sales staff are committed to customer satisfaction above all else, and all of their products are backed-up with long-term warranties.

There's something about returning to a retail store after 5 years and having the pleasure of being served by the same sales staff. The experience was very positive 5 years ago, and this time was no different.

Not only is Sofa So Good a local retailer, but they only use local furniture builders. Their frames are high-quality, solid hard wood and stand the test of time. Our old set had served us well with lots of daily use, but after 18 years, they needed to be replaced.

With tons of fabric choices, sofa styles, foam densities and throw pillows to choose from customizing our piece was seamless. Paul did a great job of guiding us toward a coordinated sectional with ottoman. We can't wait to take delivery.

Just had a couch and bed frame delivered. Great comfort and unique customized design! Love the company and great staffs to offer help. They projected 6-8 weeks and we asked it to be quicker and it was delivered right on the 6 week benchmark! Can't wait to have these furniture for years to come!

Quick and courteous service. I was confident that Paul would find me the right sofa bed. It' s beautiful and comfy. The delivery guys were very flexible in meeting a very tight window for deliveries in our building. They made it work!

I have purchased quite a few couches now from a variety of places (8 couches from 4 different places I believe). Sofa So Good is the place we keep returning to.

Most places have a wide enough variety of sofa styles for you to find one you like, and there are other local dealers (such as Stylus) that make their products in Canada.

I think what sets Sofa So Good apart is the quality of the frame (given the price), the fabrics, and the service.

Starting with frame quality. These couches are not $10k craftsman pieces. They are making them to hit a price point. That being said, we have never had a frame failure of any kind from their couches as where I have experienced frame issues on multiple couches from other dealers. Our oldest couch from them is over ten years old and the frame has no creaks or sag. We have a Stylus couch less than a year old and there is already some movement in the frame. Another couch we purchased (from a small local design shop) the frame completely failed after only a couple of years of use. Our couch from Jordan s has actually held up well, but it was more expensive.

Next the fabrics. The fabrics on our Sofa so Good couches are still in good shape and we found styles/textures that we liked that were tested to over 100K double rubs. Again, the fabric on the Stylus couch is showing pulls in it after less than a year. Granted there are many fabrics but the fabric we selected should have been durable, and we found Stylus fabric selection somewhat limited (it looks impressive when you walk in but there is surprisingly little real variety).

Finally the service. Excellent. There when you want it, gone when you don t, super friendly, and quite knowledgeable. Noticeably better than all the other couch places I ve shopped.

If you want the finest couch money has to offer, this likely isn t your place but you ll be spending $10-20K on your couch. If you want a great deal on durable and attractive furniture with good service, Sofa so Good is for you. It is possible, in fact, that you will never notice any compromise other than having saved thousands of dollars.

The staff have been very helpful explaining the various options available to us. We just got our new sofa and are very happy with it!

Yesterday I was browsing the Sofa So Good website for a new sofa and loveseat when BAM, I fell in love with the Zeda! Not being content to wait until today to drive to the store and have my "first overview" questions answered, I viciously harassed Laura over the phone. Twice! :D

The amount of time and patience she gave me was a "worth its weight in gold" experience and decided me then & there on a Sofa So Good set. I've gone to the big box stores to find a deal. The problem with a deal at those location is quality. I turned over a sofa at one location and found out its made of partical boarder and it was already cracked as a display chair. Come to sofa so good to buy a solid framed sofa that will last you more than 5 -10 years, than the disposal sofa that you will pay for the same price or more at the big box stores.

Great! Paul is patient and a very good listener. He's clearly been doing this for years. We felt listened to, and not upsold. We are also very in the know re: the sofa we're getting (and we are looking very forward to that.) Very positive experience.

We had an excellent experience with Sofa So Good. We had bought there before and it was time for a new sofa. The salesman was very helpful and we found the perfect sofa bed and the right material. It came within the time stated and we are very happy with the service and the sofa.

Most of the sofas sold here are made in Canada and have to be ordered except the floor models. It usually takes six to eight weeks to delivery to your house. It carries few furniture manufacturing companies which provide variety of styles and fabrics for customers to choose from. The staff are friend and knowledge.

I saw this chair on line and knew that I had to have it for my new home office. I have purchased two other pieces from this company and knew they only sell quality pieces so I had no problem purchasing this sight unseen. Paul was awesome to deal with. Pickup was easy. Can't say enough good things about this company and their product.

Sofa So Good are wonderful to work with. Paul was terrific in helping us select the styles and the fabrics and Rayna was super in organizing delivery of our gorgeous sofas. This is our second set of couches and we can t recommend them highly enough.

My wife and I recently ordered a sofa. We have been working with Paul on this purchase and his customer service has been great! There was a bit of a glitch at first because the floor model of the sofa we were considering was not available to test drive in the showroom because it had been sold. This meant having to wait about a month or so for the replacement one to arrive. Paul kept in touch with me during the waiting period and contacted me when it finally arrived. Once we confirmed that the sofa was going to meet our needs, Paul was also very helpful advising us about fabric choices and care options. My only small complaint is having to wait so long to see the floor model; perhaps they should consider only selling floor samples if the model is discontinued etc.

Horrendous after sale customer service. There was an issue with the delivery and when I called sofa so good the woman was dismissive and condescending. The quality of the couch is good so far so I can't complain about the product but buyer beware, once they have your money, do not expect after sale help.

With reply to your message. When I purchased the couch, I made it clear that we had purchased a Pre sale condo and occupancy dates were not certain. We said to you that we would buy that same day but you would need to hold it for us until occupancy. We didn't care whether we bought then or later. It was your stores decision to sell to us at that point as you wanted the sale. There were no contingencies... I'm not sure why you're suggesting that holding it long for us meant that you went over and beyond for us as this was simply honoring our agreement.

Even with this deal in place, I later got an email asking for full early payment because your factory wouldn't hold it any longer. I had no problem with this and paid right away. You thanked me for my understanding. At this point of course we wanted to go see the couch since we paid in full and make sure everything was correct. This is why the viewing of the sectional was accommodated which I think was more than fair.

With regards to the delivery, I did have to pay $90 on top. Please do not lie and say that extra costs were not passed on to me because they were and I have a receipt to prove it. Maybe your "trust worthy" delivery service charged both of us and didn't tell you. I should add that it did not take them an hour, not even close.

When we purchased the couch, we paid for delivery. We were not told that price was solely for an elevator ride up with the couch. It was part of the package we paid for and had this been explained, at least we wouldn't have been taken off guard. This was very frustrating as we were mid move and already under stress. When the delivery guys showed up they said my options were to return the couch and pay a delivery fee for this or to pay them more money to take it up. This whole "I wanted it immediately" thing is made up. I simply had no better choice.

When this was happening I called sofa so good. The customer service from the lady on the phone was despicable, she should not be taking calls. Instead of talking to me about the situation and coming up with a solution she got a condescending tone and was extremely rude/sarcastic. I'm in the customer service industry and I would have done everything to resolve this right away, not argue on the phone and make it a bigger issue for my client.

A great experience! Very nice products and staff were very helpful, with no pressure to purchase. I selected a fabric that was almost sold out and the sales person made an extra effort to locate enough for the sofa and ottoman we purchased. Everything was ready on time but we were still under construction. Sofa So Good stored our purchase for four months, with no extra charge. Their delivery service is excellent, too. Very careful to avoid damage to the sofa and the common area of our condo. They came on time, with smiles. Everything, start to finish, was perfect and enjoyable.

So far so good with this business: Paul was very patient making an appointment with me to come in and choose a fabric for my project. The website was easy to use so I choose the style of the items I needed. There was a sample I was able to test in the showroom. I left a down payment and hope to receive my chair and ottoman in about 8 weeks. Paul helped me measure my car to ensure I could transport the items myself.

I'm a cautious consumer and so I went into Sofa So Good armed with research. Paul was great, answering all my questions and helping me choose appropriate fabric and foam to help me reach the goal of making this a sofa I would not have to replace for a very long time. His assistance helped me customize a sofa that will be relatively pet-friendly, comfortably accommodate an overnight guest, and also still function well for social gatherings in my small space. He made the process easy. My experience here was totally in line with the excellent reviews I'd received from friends who have bought from Sofa So Good in the past. I am really looking forward to getting set up with my new sofa in six to eight weeks' time and possibly also adding that amazingly compact transformer ottoman sofa. Thanks, Paul, for all your help!

False advertising. This store does not provide custom sofa services. I visited the store today after having reviewed their website and read other reviews on google. When I visited the store, they informed me that their sofa designer retired, and therefore, the only sofas available were the ones in the store. False advertising to say this store is Vancouver s highest rated custom sofa store when they don t provide custom sofas.

The store clerks indicated that nothing was customizable. There was no mention of 8 sofas with customizable features. Also, I do not know what sofa you are referencing as I was not interested in any particular sofa in the store. I suggest either hiring a better staff for Sunday s that can inform the customers or reconsidering what it means to provide customizable sofa which is the not case here.

The showroom staff at Sofa So Good never disappoint! They are always so knowledgeable and professional and don't make you feel pressured. They have great choices in both fabric and furniture designs. Would highly recommend this store for any of your custom or pre-made furniture needs - sofas, chairs, ottomans, beds, coffee tables & accessories!

My salesperson, Paul was so kind , considerate and helpful when I was picking out my sofa, sofa bed and recliner chair. He gave good advice to match the recliner chair to my sofa. and pillows to match all. When my daughter wanted to buy a sofa bed , I recommended Paul at Sofa so Good and her experience was also very positive. They have a good selection of furniture and accessories. The other members of the sales staff were polite and a helpful also.

I've slept on a sofabed for many years in the past, and I want thrilled about having to do it again. Paul showed me they don't have to be a compromise and showed me the latest in designs. I slept on it for the first time last night and the memory foam mattresses tremendously comfortable. I didn't have to remove cushions or do any heavy lifting. A truly comphy investment.
