All TINTIN fans must visit this museum. Located inside of a lovely park lies the history of the artwork of Herge and the creation of TINTIN. My husband and son really enjoyed learning (with the audio guide) about Herges life s work.

Loved visiting this museum as an ardent Tintin fan and a collector of all the comic books this was a treat! Staff were very friendly and its a easy train ride from Brussels Central! A must on your list of places to see when in Brussels.

Louvain-la-Neuve is about 1h30 from Brussels. I bought the tickets at the central station. Just be careful because you also have the station Louvain. I was able to come and go the same day. I booked the day to spend at the museum and it was the most special of them all. If you are a fan of Tintin, going through this museum is almost mandatory. The place is huge, has practically all the original comics. I went on a winter Thursday. The museum had only one school class, but as the place was large I barely noticed their presence. The staff were super attentive and kept my bag promptly. I chose to have lunch at the museum restaurant, although it was not very cheap, I found the price fair for the quality of the food. If you want to save money, go away from the shop. The replicas of Tintin, Milu and Captain Haddock are perfect. However, my dream was to know this place. So, I prepared to spend many hours there, to have lunch and to buy all the replicas that I could bring in the bag.

A well organized and well managed museum. It is enjoyed a lot even if you are not one of the most dedicated Tin Tin fans. The only thing to note is that it is difficult to get to because, although it is sometimes shown as an attraction in Brussels, it is in Lovain La Neuve, which is an hour from Midi Bruxelles. So you have to plan a whole morning or afternoon to go, tour it and come back.

The visit of the museum is captivating both for its structure and for the works exhibited chronologically enriched with many photographs. The audioguide would be better if there was also an Italian translation.

A museum created ad hoc. A beautiful architectural structure and an exhibition organized in a masterly way. Herge and his Tintin are well represented. The library has very competitive prices. The restaurant offers a competitive menu. If you go through these parts you can not miss a visit.

For such a museum, I expected to pay much more! The quality to price ratio is excellent.

Interactive audioguides are available free of charge at the reception. Very nice reception staff, smiling.

When I visited the museum, I found that the information was not enough.
It was only at the end of the visit that I realized that there were audio guides unavailable at the reception.
So I can only advise to take it (and it's free)
