A word describes this museum when you are a fan: Fan-key
Captivating place. I would not say that I am a big fan ... That said, I took a lot of pleasure to visit this exhibition. Three floors of pure happiness. To fully enjoy the visit, it is desirable to take a minimum of two good hours ...
Very good for fifty plus me but frankly not enough fun for the youngest age ... at this rate this museum will not last long ...
So disappointed. My 6 y. o. son loves Tintin. We've read almost every book. He had a question he wanted to write the museum about one book. That was 8 months ago. No reply. The museum apparently doesn't respond to children who write letters. So sad. So disappointing.
Nice build, interesting place to visit. Staff is nice and friendly.
Almost anything about Herge and Tintin of course! :)
Must visit for every Tintin fan. Brings back memories.
Very nice museum. Very interesting for both adults and children.
A pleasant place. Rooms to visit on 3 floors. Audio guide available for 5 euros. Cinema room and possibility of making an e-card. Store and restaurant on site
Very nice museum. Nice frame and well explained. Definitely worth a visit.
For tintinophiles and all other young people from 7 to 77 years old ...
Beautiful nice museum to discover that teaches us a lot about the design of comics.
We are immersed in the world of Tintin, it is well documented without being heavy. It's beautiful. Wonderful
We all loved this place, building and contents both. The content was thoughtfully arranged and comprehensive. Rather hard to find in the maze of Leuven University...
It lacks assenceurs, disabled ramp or strollers and it lacks what to change baby. Otherwise very beautiful.
Super interesting we want to (re) dive into the tintin ...
5 stars is little close to the experience lived in this museum.
Knowing more about the works of this person was something unforgettable
Very beautiful and interesting even for those who are not real connoisseurs. Beautiful building, audio guide well done, elevator and assistance for strollers and wheelchairs. Bravo!
Awesome unique museum to visit with your children, especially if they like comics or fans of Tintin.
Very nice concept, essential for lovers of the ninth art ... too bad Louvain-la-Neuve is so ugly and dirty
Very impressive place with its architecture and a top guide! Thank you, Monsieur Saint-Jean!
Great museum but not with children under 9 or 10 years old
Very nice museum that traces the adventures of Tintin.
Exceptional museum. Aesthetically without reproach. Quality "didactic" at the rendezvous. Very beautiful retrospective compositions, pleasant to look at, to read, to discover. Various fun activities and beautiful models of all kinds. A big bravo !!
I have been going there for many years
And
I never tire of coming there
Definitely worth the trip out!!!! Beautiful building and thoroughly curated museum.
Nice museum with iPod and access to lots of interviews lacks interactivity for children
Excellent Museum and not only for the Tintinophiles
Is really worth it. Don't be late, there is so much to see.
Detailed exhibition on Herge s life, and cool sculptures of items that appeared in the comics.
It is a museum retracing the life of George Remy and all his work, not only Tintin!
If you are a fan of Tin Tin you will like this museum for sure
Spacious place
Friendly staff,
And don t forget to stop at the awesome gift shop before you exit
On the first Sunday of the month, the museum is free.
The museum is on 3 floors.
I would have liked to see more collector's items. Too bad they do not offer coins or souvenir notes ...
This is a fantastic museum that captures the spirit and work of Herge perfectly. We found it very easy to spend 90 minutes viewing the exhibition which is well laid out and all with clear labels and explanations of what you are seeing. The audio guide (included in the price of admission) provides background information relevant to the room you are in. Our son is 10 years old and really enjoyed the time here, I would think that younger children will enjoy looking at the pictures as well. There is a gift shop and cafe on site but no parking. For that you need to park in the cinema car park which is a 5 minute walk away.
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by a pleasant, completely pedestrian town, which can only be visited on foot or by bicycle (or two-wheeled bike!) Very beautiful museum, well organized ... pleasant educational visit More
Nice museum in a nice building. Good audio explanation. Parking is another pair of sleeves.
I liked it a lot, it's organized in a very interesting way
Super cool
Back to childhood
Nice place to visit, kids/adults will enjoy..takes 2 hr to watch ...every first Sunday of the month the entry is free....
LOVED it. :) If you love Tintin you will love this museum. Definitely get the audio tour too.
Nice building but absolutely no audiovisuel, or any display/design/solution that can be seen in other museums of the world.
Boring.
A building of superb architecture in the Parc de la Source.
