Superb museum in a beautiful setting. Very well with children but it would be good to integrate them into the world of the great creator to pass them the torch. Too bad he is not in Brussels!

Original in layout and rather interactive, this museum is fun for children or if you worship Tintin. Otherwise it is a bit expensive and long.

Super museum in the center of Louvain-la-Neuve. The museum is very spacious and accessible to all. I highly recommend the guided tour because there is so much to read. A beautiful museum, a beautiful contextualization and a beautiful scenography for 2 hours full of memories.
Nevertheless, we still cannot explain the reason for the establishment of a museum on such a Belgian (and Brussels) institution in this location. The presence of Italian visitors reassures us.

If you like Tintin and Milou go to visit, we loved for a duration of 2 hours with audioguide, but the shop really expensive even abuse the price!

Worth the trek from Brussels. Definitely worth visiting for any fan of Tintin. You'll learn the history of the man and then the teams who created the Tintin stories.

A special building with a beautiful collection of drawings and lots of info about the writer and his best-known comic book Tintin. A little more attention could be paid to the other cartoon heroes I think personally and in the gift shop they may actually sell some more comics in Dutch.
The museum is especially suitable for the elderly who know the comics. For children I can imagine that it is a bit disappointing.

Not for children! Nuisance being so far out of the city requiring multiple train connections. Takes two hours to see it all. At time of writing (Jan 2020) entrance is free on first Sunday of each month.

Beautiful location, and very informative. You can spend a couple of hours here easily. There is a combined train and museum entrance you can get from the train stations in Brussels.

To better understand the universe of Herger you will spend two hours really interesting. Whether in the first degree or seeking to deepen the artistic or sociological aspects. Take the opportunity to visit Louvain la Neuve, a beautiful urban success of the last 50 years.

Love Tintin, so this purpose built shrine to him and his creator was a must visit. Wasn't straightforward to find from central Brussels, but so worth the effort.

Stop if you go to Brussels and you like comics, a very interesting museum with a journey through the life of the author and the character of Tintin, very complete, with original drawings, figures and models of objects that appear in the comic .
